Eknaci looked at the beautiful Trident that killed her people.

Though the Dark Elves aren't known for their physical strength, it doesn't mean that they have weak bodies!

Being stabbed by a Trident shouldn't kill them that easily!

'Is it poisoned? What kind of Arcane Magic did it use?' The princess thought for a moment as she held her golden dagger.

She's unsure whether the Trident would just suddenly attack them from this distance but holding her weapon now gives her some confidence in facing the Cursed Arcana.

"Is that really the Arcana we're looking for?" She asked in a low voice since no one had truly seen the item they were looking for.

They can only make a guess based on the description they got from the Dark Elven King.

"I'm sure of it, Princess! That's that Cursed Arcana!" 

Zolvai, a fully armored elf beside Eknaci, confirmed with a loud voice. He's wielding a Unique Rank Arcana that allows him to scan the targeted object whether they are Cursed or Blessed Arcana, including their names, and some of its abilities…

"I couldn't see its name as it is a higher rank than my Arcana… However, I can see that it is a Cursed Arcana, and two of its Skills… We can't be wrong."

"Well done, Zolvai… Prepare to capture—No, destroy that Arcana!"

"Yes, Princess!"

The knight and hunter elves shouted as they quickly moved into formation.

There are about 50 of them who can fight the Trident Arcana but though they have an advantage in number, they know not to be arrogant in front of such a powerful Sentient Arcana.

They are aware of their existence and power since their King also has a Sentient Arcana which allowed him to solidify his position as a King.

This type of Arcana is considered rare everywhere and not many Arcanists would even possess them… But they know that if they are wielded by a capable person, they could bring forth some unimaginable power from these Sentient Arcana.

This is what they learned from the King so none of them doubts that.

"The Trident has abilities related to poison and mind control. Be careful!"

Zolvai added as he finished reviewing the skills of the Arcana.

Eknaci has already expected that their trump card or Zolvai's Appraisal-type Arcana wouldn't work well against the Trident… However, she still felt a bit disappointed that they weren't aware of its skills or even the current status of its durability.

Because of this, they just have to proceed according to their standard method of suppressing an enemy…

It is the bombardment of the Arcane Magic while they keep their distance…

Once the trident decided to escape, they will use tracking magic to chase for it. 

On the other hand, if it charges towards them, then it would be better… Eknaci's golden dagger will be put to use and finish this mission once and for all.

Several Arcane Magic skills were thrown but most of them are Shadow Bind abilities... Apparently, it wouldn't just restrict the movement of the Arcana but also eats up its durability altogether!

This is a good method to slowly destroy such Arcana!

However, as their Arcane Magic hit its target, no explosion or collision of Arcane Magic occurred!

It means that their thrown magic was nullified or the Arcana has a method to defend against it without trigger its effects…

"A poison cloud! Be careful!"

The Dark Elves saw a could of green smoke spreading in the surroundings. Similar to the information they have, the Trident was indeed a master of poison magic.

Though they possess a level of immunity, they are unsure how it would fare against the power of the Cursed Arcana.

Dolryth then brought out some vials of their best antidotes in case one of them got poisoned by the cloud of smoke.

They continued pressuring the Arcana in hopes of exhausting its saved Spiritual Energy together with its durability.

"Stealth… Wind Barrier…"

Eknaci used her Arcane Magic as she decided to get closer to the Trident.

She wanted this to end as quickly as possible and her golden dagger is the only item they have to make it happen.

'I won't let you get away.' The princess muttered as she concentrated on her task to destroy the Arcana.

The beasts who have managed to enter the Bhibra Village have finally been killed!

All the Harpies, Gryphons, and Wyverns' corpses had spread throughout the whole village.

It was too bad that none of them were edible and they either have to burn or bury most of their parts.

Everyone was quite exhausted and luckily, the casualty wasn't that high considering that the Wyverns had almost overpowered them.

Well, it is also thanks to the New Arcana that Reiji has brought here.

The four Arcana, especially that one that Mourad is holding, had truly shone on the battlefield making it known to everyone.

'Master… These Dark Elves seem to be quite prepared against me. It feels like they are targeting me from the very start.' Szaaz suddenly notified him using their Sense Link.

'I didn't know that we're also under attack by the Dark Elves…' Mourad quickly thought as he helped his Master's companion from being ganked by the elves.

He's unsure about the situation but he knows that he only needs to target one elf.

Mourad used his Homing Bullet to track the swift movement of the Dark Elf Princess wielding the golden dagger…

As soon as Eknaci noticed his presence, Mourad waited for the cooldown of his Arcana and used his Savage Shot, this is not an Awakened Skill but his Arcana's Unique Skill…

This ability allows him to shoot a triple-sized Energy Bullet that has an exploding force!
