The local supermarket has a well-stocked fish section.

I had an early supper of freshly cooked rice, burdock, sashimi of sea bass, miso soup, and pickled melon.

Recently, I have been trying to log in as soon as possible, so my diet in the real world has been biased toward "pre-prepared" or "quick" foods. Well, both burdock and pickled gourd were "leftovers", and I bought sashimi and made miso soup. It is probably a more decent looking dinner than a "one dish meal" of curry or pasta with tomatoes in the retort sauce as a minor resistance.

I have been eating out more and more because I want to get it over with quickly. In terms of my wallet, I'm actually wasting less money since I'm in another world and have no other expenses to spend except for food.

Cooking rice is fine, but taking care of the rice cooker is a hassle. The best thing about [another world] is that I don't have to clean up," I think to myself as I finish cleaning up.

Another early morning arrival.

The residents' workshops have already finished their morning cleaning and are beginning to inspect their work equipment to get ready for work. For the players, it's just before the time of day when many people will be logging in. Those who have just come home from work and have eaten a convenience store lunch or a cup of noodles are already logging in.

To be more specific, Leo is logged in, so I skip the clan conversation with a guy who is fishing somewhere, and ask Ochazuke and Peter if they want to go gather materials for the clan house when everyone is here.

Ochazuke: What are we going to do about the materials for the house and where? I prefer Fast for business and South Island for vacation.

Homura: Since the materials are scattered all over the country, I'll take you to various places by transfer as I promised.

Leo: I'd like to go somewhere near the sea or a river.

Peter: Make sure you have money for transportation other than transfers, especially to the southern islands, which cost a lot of money for boats.

Leo: Wahahahaha! I'll do my best!

Ochazuke: I guess everyone will be here around midnight today, our time. Shin has to work a little overtime?

Peter: Around that time then. If it's at night, I guess I'll have to gather materials first.

Homura: We'll coordinate when we get together again.

That's the deal.

I'll go to the store and see if the one next door is open. I'd like to say hello to them before the line starts to form, if possible.

I should bring some metal or leather for Elias to use as material for light armor, and some cloth for the clothing store on the opposite side. I don't know what store is on the corner next to Elias. No, I think we'll just stick with a pastry. I'm afraid they'll be too careful if I bring in materials that aren't widely available. I'd like to make soba noodles, but unfortunately I haven't gotten them yet.

We move to the store and make pastries. The embroidery store was also manned by a woman, as I recall, so I try to make it look as pretty as possible. If the corner store is run by a swarthy man, I'll ask him to give up. I'm going to make a lot of different kinds, and the leftovers will be used as snacks for the store (here).

For [Packaging], you can prepare boxes, ribbons, and fillings in your belongings, and they will box and wrap them to look nice, if you choose what kind of taste you want, and for [Serving], they will serve them on a plate or other container, again to look nice.

If the original dish is not colorful enough, they will also add mini-tomatoes and lettuce if they have them to make the dish more colorful.

In addition, several kinds of regular meals are also prepared and placed on the shelves.

I know I logged out last time without coming back here, but it would be fine if we don't see each other every day, but I'd like to add meals and snacks as a welfare program. They will stay fresh as long as you don't take them off the shelf, and if you don't feel like eating them, you can just leave them out.

I prepared an assortment of cream puffs filled with vanilla beans and whipped cream, cookies and macaroons.

...... and spinach and egg cocotte. I was going to bring something sweet no doubt because of the two sweet skis, but some people don't have a sweet tooth.

And I felt that I would have to eat ham and sausage if I brought them to people who don't [cook], so I decided to go with 10 egg dishes ...... that would improve the dexterity of the dish, and here we are. It's a choice that I think is not so good in the real world. It is difficult to give something to someone.

After breakfast with Cal and Reno who woke up, I confirmed that everything was fine while I was away.

"Oh, by the way, can you teach me how to carry a drunk or how to get rid of him?"

"Can't you just use the string [that thing] you wrapped around me?"

Reno asks.

"That one needs time to prepare without being noticed, it's not for emergencies.

Or maybe if the [thread] level goes up, I'll learn some quick capture skills or something?

"Drunks are one thing, but wizards are vulnerable when they get too close. I can teach you a few things for self-defense."

"Yes, please."

I'm a magic swordsman, but that's okay. When I met Cal, I killed a bounty hunter with a sword, but I wonder if he had already put it away. Still, Cal would have noticed a wound that wasn't caused by magic or daggers.

"If it's being produced, then the DEX is high, right?"

"If the equipment compensates."

"I see."

Apparently, he wondered why the production rating was so stable for a wizard, but the equipment thing seems to have convinced him. They don't seem to be aware of the strange things like material ranks, or perhaps they are not familiar with the production side of things. Well, so far, the only time he ignored the rank is when he made the possession-preventing [Mei no Kaijishi], and the rest is almost only foodstuff, so it may be hard to notice.

I successfully learned the art of self-defense(?) from Kalu. I go outside in a good mood, Elias seems to be open. Cal came with me to greet me as a bouncer of the store.

We started with Elias's store on the right.

Thankfully there are no customers yet.

"Hi, I'm the guy next door."

"Oh, is that Mr. Lengard you've heard so much about?"

"Rumor?"

I wasn't sure whether to say my name was Homura or Lengard, but they identified me before I even said my name!

Elias's store has a workbench behind the counter, and the sales floor on the first floor is smaller than ours, but it seems that not only the first floor but also the second floor is a sales floor. The staircase is accessible to customers, and some products are displayed on the wall in the middle of the staircase without being vulgar. The interior of the store has a slightly coquettish impression, with many curvy designs that give a soft impression. There is no sign of staff.

"You are very famous for selling medicines and stones. I'm not much of a fighter, and I don't move around much, but I'm a big fan of the Ring of Dexterity +3.

Elias speaks with a smile on his face. His light cherry-red hair is untied today and is flowing in its natural state. Her long china is slit up to her thighs as usual, and she is wearing a flat top.

"This is Lengard, we deal mainly in consumables. The store is only open in the afternoon and evening, but there seems to be a line up this way. It will calm down as soon as we start selling other things, but it might bother you for a while."

I'm Cal, I'm the bouncer next door. If you need anything, please let me know."

"Oh, thank you very much for your kindness. You are more like a security guard than a bouncer.

Cal is certainly far from the image of a ruffian.

The first mission is successfully completed by pushing a box of pastries and a cocotte.

And then the corner store. The line extends to the side close to the main street, thus causing problems for Elias's store and the one on the corner next to it. I do not know the branch of the Commercial Guild at the end of the turn.

I wondered what kind of store it was, but it turned out to be the one where I had bought a throwing knife from a stall for nothing, even though I had no throwing ability. It is a sword store that sells everything from daggers to slender swords, and its name is called <.

The design is tasteful, and the swords are probably of good quality. Perhaps it is because I have seen Luba's swords that I have no interest in swords, but daggers and throwing knives have a form that makes me want to "look and buy" them. It's a bit dangerous for me. Thanks to the "Storage" skill, there is practically no limit to the number of possessions, and I have a lot of money now, even though I have plans to use it in the future.

Normally, either there is no room in my belongings or I have no money, but this is a temptation when both of them are clear. I will not use it, I will never use it. I have [Throwing] now, but I will not throw it because it would be a waste even if I buy it. It will be a feces in the warehouse for sure.

There was no owner (player) in this store, only clerks. I asked him to take a message and left early without even saying hello to him. It was too much of a sight for sore eyes.

If the name of the store is <>, you can read the name and a brief description of the store by just gazing at the store even if it does not actually have a sign. The clothing and embroidery shop is called <>.

You open the door of the store (Dahlia), remembering that you have not set up ...... because it is too much trouble. The door is opened easily. The atmosphere here is bright and clean.

Two sisters dressed in matching ao dai-like white outfits answered the door. The elder sister, Rindo, has embroidery on the hem and cuffs that gradates from light blue to dark purple, and the younger sister, Kikyo, has embroidery that changes from light green to blue-purple.

The first floor is an unmanned counter selling ready-made products, while the second floor is a place for customers to place orders and receive work directly. Even in the days of the street stalls, the customers would add their own embroideries to the products.

Many of the robes and coats on display are made of monochromatic fabrics, perhaps to show off the embroidery. It seemed that the shop handled not only fabrics but also thin skins, and there were boots with western-style embroidery.

The counter can be set up for only five purchases. The counter and the set of the trading warehouse can be set to <>, and the name of the item to be purchased and the amount to be paid can be set.

Since sales are also entered into the same warehouse, you can set a percentage of the total amount in the warehouse to be used for purchases, and the more items you sell, the more you can buy. This is only possible if the purchase price is appropriate.

If you choose the counter of <>, the number of sales is reversed and you can set more purchases for the counter. If you have enough funds, you can put both the regular counter and the pawnbroker's counter.

These sisters were most pleased with the cream puffs. It makes me a little happy. After greeting them, I went downstairs and found a customer shopping. I would like to see his pants, but I will come back later.

"Cal, thanks for having me."

No, thank you for meeting me. It will be easier for me to deal with you as a bouncer if you know the neighborhood.

He thanks me with a smile. Already a few days after opening, Cal is the owner and I could just be producing, but he stands up for me.

The owner (me) is never there at a certain time, even though we have very limited business hours. I'm sorry for leaving things as they are.

But as soon as I get back to the store, he asks for a double cream puff with Leno, so I guess I don't have to worry about it.

How did you two become such hungry characters ......?
