The big battle again.

This time, it seemed that the main players were on the side of the residents and the gentiles were completely helping them, and when we gained an advantage to some extent, they easily backed off, and we ended up in a standoff across a dry river.

Some of the Gentile parties tried to attack, but it seemed that they could not cross the dry river due to events.

Peter: Homura, should we go now? It looks like it stopped this way.

Homura: Okay, let's go!

Ochazuke: Have a good day!

A quest is underway to liberate the transition gate in the empire. This quest is for the liberation of individual gates, and at the same time, it allows the army of the aisle to advance to the land where the gates are located. Since the players can only advance and lose if they do not achieve any results, there are many players who remain in the army like Ochazuke.

Shin is working overtime and Kikuhime is late for a real drinking party. ...... Is Kikuhime absent?

Personally, I would like to liberate the area near the Imperial City, but the army cannot advance until the front is liberated. Well, is it possible to liberate the back and proceed at once?

I'm off.

Lord, be safe.

Don't get caught up in anything weird.

Don't hurt yourself.

"Be careful."

Galahad, what's weird, what's weird.

With the words coming back from each of them, they [shift] to join Peter. I change my clothes in a secluded place.

Peter: Homura, what's with the coat?

Homura: Same outfit as last time we went undercover.

Wyvern's coat, I dropped it off but haven't had a chance to use it. ....... Also, I can't find Peter, who is supposed to be here.

Homura: I don't know where Peter is.

Peter: Because I finally became a ninja!

Homura: Oh? Congratulations.

I was invited to a party, and when I accepted, I could see Peter. He was pretty close to me. It's a skill called "presence breakdown". I'll try to see if I can see him later with my sacred artifact on.

I put on the fox mask with the [Recognition Block] and return from the temple to the battlefield once more. A simple transfer plate is available on the battlefield at the isle for those who have been recruited for the imperial expedition at the royal castle.

Leo: Hey, are you two on board?

A red raccoon dog comes running quickly in front of me. Its skin is still round and stretches with centrifugal force.

Homura: Looks like it has 4WD written all over it, Leo's Alfa Romeo!

Peter: No, wait, wow, my [Attention Breakdown] is not working.

Leo: The number of passengers has increased to four!

Peter: A normal raccoon rides in a party in width!

Homura: Two people's worth of speed converted to speed. ......

Peter: Homura, stop being so naive and convinced?

Ochazuke: Peter, good luck with your commentary!

Leo: wahahahahahaha!

"Lucky red raccoon dog!"

"Where is it? Oh, really! It's a rare stop."

"Hey, is that coat from the big battle? The one who put Alice out?"

People are gathering, so I quickly get into my Alfa Romeo. The red raccoon stands out. We ask them to head into the empire and give us a ride until we encounter the enemy.

LEO: Let's go!

Homura: Gohu!

Peter: ......

G is . They're going to take my guts and upper body with them.

Homura: Are we not going to increase the riding comfort of the cavalry?

Leo: All the way to speed!

Homura: ......

Peter: You should give up w

When I asked Leo when the shock of the start was wearing off, he gave me a clear answer. The red raccoon dog will continue to be as comfortable as ever. I was looking forward to it a little, but I had heard that if you make the raccoon dog more comfortable, it will become fluffy and burrow into the air.

Peter: By the way, how did you really detect the [presence breakdown]?

Leo: Intuition!

Peter: ......

Homura: You should give up.

It's not the first time Leo has been unreasonable.

Peter: I'd like to see Leo's skills and titles for once.

Homura: Chaos guaranteed!

Leo: I don't know what's working either!

He is not a strong fighter, but his ability to go fishing solo in unexplored areas of the world is outstanding. Though he often comes back to die.

LEO: Oops, that's it! Come on!

With these words, the Alfa Romeo comes to a sudden stop and Peter and I are thrown out with the momentum.

Homura: Leo!

Peter: this is terrible!

"Wahahahahaha!"

The red raccoon dog moves away, leaving behind a sound of laughter. I try to complain, but soon I will be in another area of the event and the clan conversation will be out of reach.

"Suspicious man!"

I was left in front of the enemy, or rather, I and Peter were left alone.

While I watch the smoke from the Alfa Romeo, Peter quickly sinks the Imperial Guard. Even though it's nighttime, they'll find us fast with that smoke. ....... We need to move fast.

We don't kill the Reichswehr, but tie them up and I cast a sleep spell on them to make sure they don't fall asleep and push them into the water mill. The place where Leo popped me is not the capital, but it's in front of a mill outside the city that's not far from the capital.

<>

I'm not good at keeping a sharp eye out. I'd rather just go in like Leo and swoop in with my speed or destroy them all.

But this time, I heard that if you move too brazenly, you will be locked at the transfer gate, so be careful. This quest is a field in which I am not good at and Peter is good at.

The number of enemies you kill is counted, and when it reaches one hundred, you will fail to unlock the gate in that town. I am talking about all players in this area, not just us, but probably still only me and Peter, since I don't think there is a cavalryman who can catch up with Alfa Romeo. If we are found, we will not be counted, but we will be called for reinforcements and the guards of the temple will increase.

The locked area can no longer be chosen as a march route, so the more failures you make, the more the route will be limited and the Imperial Army will have the advantage. Even if the player wins there, the game will be cleared with low results, and the player will not be able to conclude a treaty that is favorable to him.

Restrictions on transfer gates, restrictions on the commissioning of commercial guilds, and higher entrance fees to dungeons in the empire were among the topics of discussion among the higher-ups at the castle.

Since the war is on, the Isle side has stopped transfers from the empire. We will follow Peter to liberate this town and secure an escape route.

It's not so much that it cuts off their presence, but it's something like cutting off their existence because they become invisible.

Well, it's no use if you can sneak into the front door without hesitation. It will be possible to surprise them as much as you want.

From a little distance behind a rock, we first observe the town. We can't see the guards, but we can see that there are people by the flickering lights of the bonfire on the other side of the gate.

<

The gate towers Peter refers to are the towers attached to the town wall on either side of the gate.

<>

He then stands in front of the wall, far from any gate and with no lights visible inside. In Peter's hand is that tool with the claw at the end of the rope. He spins it around and throws it, pulls it a couple of times to make sure the claw is well caught, and climbs up the wall without difficulty.

I follow Peter's lead, grab the rope, and climb up the wall. I cannot use my skills or magic because they are detected.

I climb over the wall and move through the shadows. It is a rather large town because of the temple that holds the gate of transmigration. Temples are usually located in the center of the town, either facing the plaza or the square just inside the main gate. In town, people refrain from party conversation and move around with eye contact and hand signs.

The temple is the main facility of the town, so there are soldiers patrolling outside. Observe them closely in the shadows, and determine the timing of their patrols.

The first barrier, the wall surrounding the temple site. Peter has a straight sword propped up and dexterously uses the tsuba (brim) as a foothold on top of the wall. I throw Peter's sword upward from below, and Peter receives it. I can jump like this normally, so there was no problem.

The second barrier, the patrolling soldiers in the garden and the traps for some reason. The temple is a place for citizens of the empire, isn't it? What's the point of setting a trap? I'll cry if there's a trap in the courtyard where I met Fast's white.

Inside the temple, they hide behind the pillars to get past the patrolling soldiers, and at times they use the props (gimmicks) provided to distract the soldiers and proceed. I don't know why they would start drinking if you put a bottle of wine in the middle of the aisle!

In order to free the gate, we had to find the passcode for the spell in the same temple, and we had to go around quite a bit. Why is it in the wine cellar, if not in the priest's room?

--When I asked Ochazuke about it later, he told me that this town is famous for wine in the empire, so maybe that was a hint. I was lightly told. Preliminary research is very important!

Peter checks the window, but we are already in front of the transition gate.

<

Peter and I are a little confused.

The puzzle consisted of a square with four numbered squares in a square frame, and one number that was not in the passcode was removed to make use of the space to move the numbers.

I was a little tempted to crack the puzzle, but I successfully cleared it and released the gate. I was afraid that even if I got a good start, the puzzle might catch up with me. Well, it doesn't matter who liberates the gate.
