~KYOMI~
"So, do you like it?" Ben asked motioning towards the interior of the restaurant.
I nodded, it was beautiful but it wasn't something that I wasn't used to. Being the daughter of a successful businessman who also held the position of a highly respected minister meant that I'd lived a very luxurious life.
This date just seemed like it lacked excitement, I was already bored and just like I'd predicted all I did so far was compare Ben with Dante.
"Your mind seems to be far." Ben noted as he handed me the menu. "I've noticed it since you entered the vehicle, is everything okay?"
I flushed at his words. "I am, I'm sorry about that. This actually is the first date my parents have ever allowed me to go on, so forgive me if I act a bit weird."
Ben took a sip of the wine in front of him before nodding his head. "I've heard about that, it must have been hard for you. Not being able to experience the normal life that most people have, not that I'm complaining however. I actually like the fact that my future wife would be completely untouched, it pleases me."
I almost choked on absolutely nothing.
Future wife?
"I'm sorry, what?" I finally managed to ask after finding my voice again.
He quirked a brow at me, confused at what I was asking.
"Did you just say future wife?" I asked again.
He nodded, seeming puzzled at my question. "Did you think this was just a normal date?" He asked me. "No Kyomi, our fathers have already agreed that it would be best for both families if the two of us got married, this isn't your average date, this is a test to see if we actually get along and since it's going so well, there really isn't anything stopping the wedding from happening now."
"I-I don't understand." I stuttered in complete and utter shock, how could my parents do this to me? How could they decide on such a big decision without discussing it with me first?
Did my opinion not matter at all to them?
This news hurt in a completely different way, I couldn't even explain it but I felt completely betrayed.
I've always listened to every single thing my parents asked of me, then why would they do this to me now? How could they?
The sound of a motorbike right outside the restaurant caught everyone's attention. My eyes followed the sound outside the clear glass and gasped in shock. Dressed in all black leather seated on the bike stood the man that had haunted my mind for the entire day so far.
Dante!
