~KYOMI~

I fidgeted in my seat nervously as Dante pulled up to the beach.

Apparently this was where he wanted our first date to be. Even though I was nervous I already liked this one a lot better than the one with Ben.

He quietly got out the van and opened my door for me. Without warning he unbuckled my seat belt, his hand lightly grazing my tummy before he grabbed my hɨps and helped me down.

"I could have done it myself." I intervened, my cheeks red.

Surprisingly he hadn't come to school today with his motorcycle, which was weird, I always saw him in it. Today was the first day I'd seen him in this van and it just so happened to be the same exact day I agreed to go on a date with him.

It almost made me believe in destiny for if he had only asked me to get on his bike with him, there was no way this date was happening. I was afraid of those things, I always saw it as a fast ticket to your own death, I didn't trust it one bit. It just looked like an accident waiting to happen in my eyes.

"I know." Dante responded. "But then I wouldn't have gotten the chance to touch you and see the way your pretty cheeks turn all red."

I felt my cheeks turn even redder at his words, this wouldn't do. I needed to concentrate and focus on what I really came here for, I couldn't let Dante distract me!

"Um, so will you finally tell me what Ben did in the past that was so bad?"

Dante shook his head at me. "Not so soon sweetheart, let's enjoy a little time in the waters first."

I turned to him in shock. "What?" I asked. "I thought we were just going to have a little picnic in the sand?"

"And miss out on all of this?" Dante asked as he motioned to the water in front of us.

"I-I can't swim."I told him.

He looked taken aback for a second before he recovered with a soft smile.

"Good." He said before lifting me up into his arms and jumping into the water with me.

A loud scream left my mouth as I felt the warm water surround me, Dante's strong arms holding onto me almost tightly.

"Shhh." He whispered. "You're safe with me, I promise."
