Chapter 7： Grinding & Missions

Five days passed by fast and my strength grew even faster. Finding Lickers in the underground facility was easy but there weren't many. And in here they didn't just pop back up as I didn't use a firearm to kill them. Zombies were everywhere, but they only gave 50xp and 2sp each. Though what they lack in quality they make up for it in quantity. I hunted 423 zombies, 10 normal lickers(500xp and 10 sp) and gathered a total of 26'150xp and 946sp pushing me near to level 8.

The Claws I obtained are very helpful, as in can slice through concrete like tofu helpful. Finally after passing level 5 missions activated and I got a few interesting ones.

- Kill Albert Wesker in 11 years during 'Uroboros' event [Reward: 10'000sp, *unknown ]

- Kill 100'000 people(not zombies) [Reward: 200'000sp, A Major Villains CQC Ability(Not superpower just knowledge and mastery of hand to hand combat)]

I don't have to worry about time as this are the only possible missions available during my stay here and I have all the time to complete them.

Getting back to the current situation I am currently on the surface and standing on a main street. A few zombies are slowly coming my way but that's nowhere near enough as they are taken care of with one hit and absorbed. There are a lot of zombies but they are spread out and I got just the solution to bring all the fish near this shark. Going to 2 nearby street signs I grab them and in one swift motion tear them of the ground. With the increase in biomass my strength, endurance and speed is higher than anything Albert Wesker can come up with.

Spreading my arms I get ready to hit the sign poles against each other. And…

DING… DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING, DING.

'Wow… look at them go, it's like all apple products are 99% off.

Zombies are heard growling and the next moment the once relatively quiet road is filled with a sea of zombies storming towards me.

'They are so densely packed, it's like they want me to use 'it'.'

I get in a crouching position and compress more than half of my biomass in one point near my stomach. As soon as the zombie is about to touch me I release the biomass to wreak havoc and thousands of reddish black tendrils surge towards all sides with unstoppable momentum for 200 meters, piercing rows and rows of zombies and then pulling them towards me and absorbing them. After cleaning out the remaining ones I checked my notifications and statur.

'Ho… look at that, Armored Form that I hope does more than in the game and perks. Let's see here, huh that Perk: [Zero's Effect] - (Adds a 10% damage nullifying effect to armored form(Cannot be increased))

After 3 days of nonstop hunting I had leveled up to Level 17, leveled biomass to Lv.1(Special) and Consume and evolve to 21.I didn't bother to activate my armored for as even an end-game boss would have trouble just scratching it. I do have a crazy idea that might allow it to jump a grade, although it might leave me a s a puddle of goo as well but that would not be a problem.

I also spent 1000sp to get the ability: Bullshit Detector(Uncommon) ,250sp for : High-Tech: World Map(Common) and 1000 for : Locator(Uncommon) spending most of my points and being left with only 518sp.

'Hoo… our guest seem to have made his way into the level 3 laboratory.'

Yeah Leon S. Kennedy arrived about 1 hour ago and is currently making his way back towards the main elevator. As for me, I'm currently hanging of a wall in which I have dug my fingers in, inside the main elevator area. Leon should be fighting Birkin and I should make my way to the 'Apple Inn'.

------ 10 min later--------

'Here it is'- is what I say as I look at the small hotel in front of me.

'And there is the sewer exit'- All that's left now is to wait.

------ 15 min later------

-POV Change- (Ada Wong)

Ada: "He said he would be waiting at the 'Apple Inn'. There is the exit.'

As I made my way towards the exit I notice a tall figure blocking the way. It is at least 2 meters tall, some type of reddish black biological armor protecting it's body.

'A new type of infected? It doesn't look weak and I'm in no shape to fight it. What should I do?'

All of a sudden it started walking towards me. As it got closer I got a better look at it, the armored parts of its body continuously shifting as if it was alive, sleek looking head armor turned towards me giving me the feeling that I don't even qualify as prey let alone an opponent.

'I can't just wait and die without doing anything.' – I say as I pull out my pistol and aim at the monster coming towards me.

BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG, BANG.

I shot it with everything I had and it didn't budge him in the slightest. As I was about to run it spoke.

Zero: "Ada Wong."

It was a deep voice that looked down on me.

'Did it just spoke?' 'That's impossible. From what little I was able to get from Wesker's files it said that the only case where an infected was capable of independent thought was destroyed when the facility it was in self-destructed'

(A.N: James Marcus is the only one I know prior to Resident Evil 2)

Ada: "How do you know my name? Are you one of Umbrella's lab rats as well?"

Zero: "What or who I am doesn't concern you. What you need to know is that I am here to make a deal with you. You are free to refuse my offer but do NOT lie to me. If you refuse I cannot guarantee a good ending for you or our dear Leon."

Ada: "Meaning you'll have us killed."

Zero: "Leon yes, you… I don't need to. Did you know there is a Type-R Tyrant locked on to you?"

Ada: "…and you made me spend all my ammo on you."

Zero: "Correct. So… do you agree?"

Ada: "… what do I have to do for you if I agree?"

Zero: " At most once a year I will contact you and ask for information. If you lie I will kill Leon and then you. I will also deal with the tyrant aiming for you. Do you agree?"

Ada: "… fine I agree."

Zero: "You also can't tell anyone about this arrangement, do you understand?"

Ada: "Yes." (Bullshit)

As I said that a hand grabbed my throat and smashed me in the wall.

Zero: "Did I NOT MAKE MYSELF CLEAR? I will give you one more chance, do you agree to the terms?"

Ada: "Cough, cough…Yes."

Zero: "Very well let's move now, we have already lost too much time." – he says to me.
