12 Survival Part 1: Between life and death

When the little maid felt the prince's grip around her loosen, she opened her eyes slightly holding her breath.

Seeing blood pouring through the prince's heart getting mixed with the water made her panic, after all, she had never seen that much blood before, she swam around pushing the young prince with her into the surface.

Struggling to keep both of them on the surface was hard for her. Looking around for a way out, she lost hope, in the corner of her eyes she noticed a big board on the water, she swam toward it in a hurry and pushed the prince on it gently trying not to make the situation worst, then hopped on it to gather her energy.

It didn't take her a few seconds to hop off and push the board weakly, trying her best to save the prince, hot tears falling from her eyes.

Zheng Lu's breathing was shallow indicating his critical condition, the arrow that hit his back crossed his chest where his heart is supposed to be, for Bo it was a relief that he could breathe in the first place.

Mimi felt like a fire is lit up within her blood, an unbearable pain traveled all around her body. She regretted getting all content with the idea of being reincarnated, thinking that she will get cheats like all reincarnated people and have the luck on her side and be like any main character, except the sun got set, and reality hit her hard.

"You are not normal." The reflection told her freaking out

"Way to state the obvious." She rolled her eyes
