Chapter 142: A yandere wife speaks more with her friends!

After every important stuff got packed up into big backpacks, Kyoya's party set off for the adventure. It was time to fulfill the main mission on this floor which was gathering the belief from the death god's blessing.

Kyoya was interested and curious as to what kind of form the death god's blessing has taken. He was certain that it was a dungeon, but surely something special awaited their arrival! He also asked Xaya for opinion, but she just shrugged and didn't pay much attention to it. No matter what it will be, Xaya was sure that her husband will be able to take it and create the equipment similar to the one she drew in the past.

Her mind was filled with black heels that would make her feet stand out even more! Of course, the feet cultivation was one of the morning activities that Xaya loved, but she was also getting greedier for other parts of her body! Xaya's beauty was perfect, but it wasn't like she would refuse or enjoy more skin care!

What Xaya enjoyed right now was the husband's arm. She naturally hugged it during their walk, but Xaya wore far different feelings right now as her eyes were going around the world and her husband's party.

The reasons were obvious and so Kyoya was full of smiles.

"This is Kyoya's main mission, so it is going to be even more extraordinary! Wasn't this pyromaniac's case supposed to be normal by the way?"

"Oh, please. How do you expect me to see through the mission and its client?"

"The point is still valid. Even the plain missions become extraordinary when you choose them, then your goals will be even more. Don't tell me I am wrong?"

"No, you aren't. I work with the goal in mind! Everything is for our party."

"Yes, of course. I hope something will be found for us too! You know that my Josef got a new mission from our lord, right? We need to nurture some origins too."

"You will have time to gather enough intel after our mission. You think I got the current location without a price?"

"I feel like it."

"Oi."

While the husband was enjoying some little bickering with Maria, their partners were lost in thoughts and their own situation. Of course, Josef got briefly awakened when Maria told Kyoya about his mission to add that there was no shortage of time or anything like that, then returned to think about something profound.

At least it felt like it was profound as the usual Josef was staying quiet for most of the time.

As for Xiaoxiao, it might seem like she was alone, but the cat was always in her hands. She held the cat like the treasure Akaro was, then even moved her hands around to show off the world that was new to the cat.

This wasn't anything interesting to Akaro and so she stood indifferent, but her eyes were at least opened. This made Xiaoxiao giggle to herself and she made the cat feel the sky closer as her hands went up in a joking manner.

A cat's tail then struck her head as if Xiaoxiao was a bad 'child'.

Time just flew by in such a nice and comfortable way.

The party wasn't in a hurry, so each party member was having a great time by just slowly going in their direction and engaging in heated talks. When Kyoya and Maria's bickering ended, the lady let her boyfriend arm go and just went to Xiaoxiao.

"Not like I hate this, Kyoya. The stronger opponents, the stronger achievements. We should be able to cross more floors soon enough. Now, keep an eye for Josef."

"I know right? I don't want to be stuck on one floor looking for achievements for years like some common adventurers do. Anyway, I will keep an eye on him."

A moment later, Xaya came to Xiaoxiao too. Two ladies reached for the cat and played with her ears causing Xiaoxiao to feel somewhat proud. She then spoke about petting and how fluffy Akaro's cat body was.

[Kyoya(A weirdo husbando): Thank you for your cooperation. This is the only way for my wife to get closer to others.]

[Akaro(Goddess Fiana): It makes Xiaoxiao closer to her new party, so we are both benefiting from it.]

[Kyoya(A weirdo husbando): Yes, thanks. How about I tell you about the temporary disciple concept I have created to jolly our time up?]

[Akaro(Goddess Fiana): Speak.]

"Look, her tail is wiggling! She must like your petting, Maria!"

"I can sacrifice my polished nails for this kitty!"

"..."

The ladies were taking turns to hold Akaro. When the cat landed on Maria's hands, she petted her like any woman would, but the timing was too perfect for her! It was during the husband's talk that Akaro's body got held by Maria.

Thus, the ladies misunderstood, but they were happy to see the reaction coming from the elegant and rather too emotionless kitty!

[Kyoya(A weirdo husbando): The temporary disciple concept allows me to leave no trails on others! It gives me less divine energy, but it doesn't really matter for me right now. It works in a simple way - what would be the divine energy for me is actually used to erase the trails of my influence. So this exchange is fair I believe. I also shouldn't make any opponents up above.]

[Akaro(Goddess Fiana): It would be bizzare for other gods to treat you as an enemy. They would just casually send the believers from this low world pillar to chase you.]

[Kyoya(A weirdo husbando): Yes, you are right…]

A deep killing intent lightly shook Kyoya's heart when he saw that message. This was only seen by the goddess as she had more than thousands years of experience with emotions. As the goddess, Akaro has spoken with many disciples and believers, then gods, so she didn't need any special skills to see through emotions. She knew that there was an enemy up above just from this small killing intent! It should be a kind of enemy that would reside in the heavenly palace with many divine offsprings.

Such thoughts were swimming inside Akaro's mind. The goddess knew she was accurate so she just eyed the husband who was easing up his heart slowly. Then, she got grabbed by Xaya who eyed her closely.

"..."

A cat and beauty looked into their eyes.

It seemed like Xaya could see more into the cat's body, but the ladies close to her just giggled as they felt like Xaya was looking out for any 'filthy' emotions which would be so like her. Of course, Xaya felt some suspicion about Akaro, but she couldn't see through the goddess' cover.

This made Xaya to just pet the goddess like a cat she was.

As her husband said, Xaya should try what her friends liked. It began with Maria doing her make-up on her face, then both Xaya and Xiaoxiao spent some time outside in the city by shopping for dinner while using the husband's money to buy some snacks during that.

Every lady was genuine and honest with her!

Though Xaya's lack of excitement could be seen by the ladies, they were aware that it was caused by her will to change. They were eager to help her out and so days were passing more merrily with everyone having their common goal!

"What is this? A labyrinth?"

"Yes, I have an idea in mind. Wanna help me?"

"Sure, what should I do?"

"Move the pebble."

Josef passed branch to Kyoya, then closed his eyes.

He used this branch to make a labyrinth on the ground while the rest of the party was preparing for the sleep. As the bonfire continued to spit out some sparks, Kyoya grasped the branch, then shoved it into a small labyrinth.

He did as Josef wanted and the pebble began its path through the corridors.

A moment later, the whole labyrinth shook and one spike emerged out in the near corridor next to the pebble. Unluckily for Josef, the pebble was missed by him, but he was on the right track as it was pretty close.

"So this is what you had in mind, huh."

"Yeah, I feel like I should be able to build up the ability to search for people in my labyrinth, then either kill them or at least stop. Many things can be added, actually."
