Chapter 146: A husband's party enters the first tower.

The New Kingdom's adventurer name was Keria.

She didn't lie about her being affiliated with the top party from this place and her strength already made everyone else think of her words as the truth. However, it was the first time she got rejected and opposed by the adventurer on the 15th floor!

If she were to speak with another 'absurd' woman, then Keria would also get rejected, but there was no point in speaking with this woman as she wouldn't team up with her no matter what.

Thus, it was the first time for her to get rejected here and it was shocking.

Even more after Kyoya and his party just disappeared on the other side. They were as if gladly accepted by the castle, so there was no way for her to just stay idle.

Keria spun around and began pointing her finger at adventurers one by one.

"Hah?"

Some of the chosen adventurers pointed at themselves in response with disbelief gathering up within their hearts.

Some just focused their eyes on the lady and waited for her next words.

Of course, she used her influence to stop everyone from interfering with the castle, but as soon as she disappeared, they would just go inside! But, if she were to choose some of them, then they had to give some thought about it!

After all, Keria was choosing individuals, not the whole party.

"You can go with me."

"Okay, okay. You got me half-way convinced, missy."

One of the adventurers was here alone and so he immediately spoke with the twin-tailed beauty as if they both were on the same status. But he had to do it despite her being stronger as the death was not in his plans!

Her status was already what many people needed. It was because this alone would make others think twice or thrice before attacking them. Many would just give up and let them go unless someone as unique as Kyoya appeared on her path.

That was nice and worthy of betting on.

But the man needed to know more.

As to why he was chosen while other dudes' teammates were not… And how far did she want to take this cooperation? Joining up the popular top party was possible if he showed off the promising future here!

"If you don't feel like going then don't. All I can offer you is the ability to get rid of this dark castle's influence. Then, we will work together in the dark castle to take over it."

"You can get rid of this influence? But you looked so surprised when this man disappeared inside.."

Her smile became so radiant the man felt like trusting her just from that. He shook those feelings out from his body, then agreed to follow her with cautiousness taking over his body! In front of such a mysterious and unique woman, one could only be cautious and work together with one's instincts and belief.

As for others, they decided to grasp this sudden invitation.

Their friends from parties also urged them to follow this woman. This was one of the opportunities they couldn't miss after all. And if their friend were to become a member of the top party, then they would also get benefits.

If not, then the experience from the dark castle would be a valuable one for the further adventurers.

"Me too."

"Count me in."

Every chosen adventurer stepped forth which caused Keria's smiles to widen. She exuded more of her seductive aura, but one also could see various emotions coming out from her. All of those emotions were the ones that the adventurers were 'expecting' from her to see.

As Kyoya appeared on the other side of the castle, he and his party looked around the inner bailey. There was nothing here except the darkness walls and green soil which was somewhat similar in color to the death god's castle.

One could only look out for the towers and the throne room.

"It seems like there aren't any surprises ahead."

Josef spoke after his hand let go the greenish soil.

He just made sure to see whether there were any hidden traps or monsters ahead, but in such a place even ghosts could appear so he felt his efforts were somewhat futile.

However, his party smiled at him and thanked him for the effort.

Then, they choose the closest tower to begin their conquest.

"So this is the place to test us? I wonder what they will test? I hope it's not something mental!"

"It is definitely mental, Maria..."

"...Aren't you scared, Xiaoxiao?"

"No, because I have you guys by my side."

These words make the complaining Maria to just erase every negative emotion out of her heart. She was aware that this was a necessary step on her adventure, but such words kept coming casually it was hard to control.

Luckily for her, Xiaoxiao's cheerfulness was evident even now to contribute to the team. As everyone steeled their hearts, Kyoya opened the doors leading to the first tower's interior! The moment the party stepped inside, the doors closed on their own with a loud bang!

It was hard to see through the tower's interiors as there weren't any clouds. The cold aura was also sometimes crawling its way onto their bodies, but Kyoya's party had an advantage which was the game system.

Upon entering this place, everyone got the message.

[You can reach the highest floor by finding the staircases and beating each mini boss on these floors. One of the keys has been placed on the highest floor! Gather seven keys to enter the throne room.]

"How are we supposed to find the staircase? I don't feel like moving around here."

"How about you two try to find the staircases with your belief?"

"We can try."

Kyoya asked his two friends that were a couple, then tried to find any ways to just cheat here. If he could find the staircase without any problems, then the whole tower conquest would be an easy one to beat.

However, nothing appeared on the minimap and Kyoya's eyes were also unable to see through the darkness. It was dark and hard to move, but Kyoya could at least see his friends on the map.
