Boom!
An explosion filled with raw energy completely turned the training dummy into pieces! It was not only the husband who achieved this result as everyone else destroyed their training dummies.
It was not because the training dummies were 'useless' like Maria wanted them to be, but because the test didn't require these to withstand the full power output.
The training dummies, in the form of bugs, began to crumble across the jungle and Kyoya was the first one to get the most of them. The second one was Xaya, just one less than her husband.
"Xaya! You were stealing some from me, meanie."
"I was worried about you, Xiaoxiao."
"Really? You don't have to be shy if you want to fight together with me! Hehe."
"Have I ever been shy?"
The more clear-headed people could see that Xaya kept the count just below the husband and not allowed others to stand out. Of course, the love was in the air so Xiaoxiao surely couldn't sense that.
Nonetheless, the husband splendidly passed the test and also got special service from the blacksmith, so he was all smiles.
"He also doesn't realize it."
"Indeed."
Maria and Josef laughed as together as the husband was indeed oblivious to this. He happily looked at everyone with a victorious smile that just couldn't be more contagious. Everyone headed towards the marked point in the jungle with smiles lingering on their faces.
Then, Kyoya and his party returned to reality. The new race appeared before Kyoya who was clearly the party leader with his appearance alone.
He looked at the group with thick tails and big ears standing out on their human bodies. This race was certainly a fox race, but Kyoya didn't know what their status was and how exactly their race was called.
However, it was fair to assume that they were a race with high status as they operated the test and came out to greet them.
"Hello. Welcome to our Naranaska Kingdom. Our whole floor is the kingdom and every race is usually welcoming, but with the situation in The Grooma Kingdom, we have to check you guys a little more."
"That's fair, but how exactly are you going to do that?"
Kyoya would turn around if this fox race requested something outrageous like naked body checking or some bath in unknown liquid that would be even more dangerous! His eyes shone brightly as he asked, his wariness clear to the fox race.
Beastmen people were sensitive to many feelings and this didn't bypass their senses at all. The representative smiled brightly, then answered the husband.
"It's similar to the tablet that adventurer guilds and noble households use. I hope you have seen it at least once."
"We have seen."
"So that's it. It's one of tablets blessed by our goddess to keep our lands and race close to nature."
This was measure to make sure that any 'weird creature', in this case the divine demons, don't come to Naranaska Kingdom from the Grooma Kingdom! This kingdom was already lost in the eyes of many high people from various ascended kingdoms, but no one wanted to surrender yet!
It wouldn't be strange for divine demons to go and seize other floors.
Of course, Kyoya also would love to help his friends here such as Marcia or Plutos who were in the same party. However, it was too dangerous for him. Not only because Kyoya was weak, but also because there were enemies from both sides waiting for him.
Even in Marcia's party, there was one dude who tried to kill the husband and Josef, so it wasn't wise for the magnet husband to stay here. It would be better for him to move on and get stronger somewhere else.
"I will be the first then."
"Yes. Please, hold it."
The fox woman stepped forth with the tablet in her hand. It was a grayish tablet with letters unknown to the husband carved within. It didn't really stand out other than that, but Kyoya tried to use his concepts to see through it.
He didn't find anything suspicious, but nothing could be certain.
That was why he went first! There were two men in the party and the husband felt like it was his job to test it first, nonetheless.
"It shone."
"Yes, it means that you are fine. Next, please."
Kyoya couldn't say no to the lady's voice. His game system didn't find anything weird within his body and there was simply no effect at all, so he gave green lights to his friends and everyone got checked one by one.
Then, the woman passed the tablet to the representative and took the role of guide. She welcomed everyone brightly to the tribe that was brimming with nature and fox people. A new kind of world just spread before everyone's eyes.
"This is… outer area, right?"
"Right. We give special tents to our guests here who can not afford to stay in our tribe."
The area was filled with trees and raw nature. Though trees weren't thick, they were really huge and easily could be called skyscrapers. They had a lot of branches and Kyoya spotted some tents settled up on the branches.
He kinda took a liking to such a setting. The tents were held by vines and surely had different views to the outer area.
"Why are trees so big here?"
Xiaoxiao asked from the side.
"It's because of little stronger races from our floor. Have you heard of Moon or Sun Elves? It's partially because of them as they instinctively want to be closer with the sky."
"I see. Thank you for sharing this with us!"
"Haha, it's no secret at all."
It turned out that there was a gap between races, but Kyoya couldn't spot any hate from the guide's voice. It was like healthy competition that depended on one's belief and strength. If the foxes get stronger, then they will surely be able to turn their forest to their own liking.
However, they were also adaptive and enjoyed their stay here.
"I would like to ask something too."
"Go ahead."
"This training dummies! Do you guys share the knowledge with outsiders about these? If not, then what do I have to do?"
"Be our close friend. We do have the technique and tree race's wood, but the forest elves are the ones who have the say in this matter. Our floor's test is used by every race, so it's not limited only to us, but if you are that interested in this technique, then forest elves are your next destination."
"Oh, thanks."
"Then, I also have a question."
"Go ahead, the husband… Eh?"
