The void worm squirmed from the pain, its scales trying to overcome the poison.
However, Venes' hand already took out another candy that was really wrapped like one. He unwrapped that with a sneer on his face, then sent the whole 'lethal poison' straight into the worm's mouth.
Venes' opponent kept screaming and doing its best to get closer with 'result.'
On the other hand, Venes entered the enjoyment mode where he boasted about his candies. His expression never distorted and he kept that sneer openly taunting the enemy. He felt such thrill from using his candies that everyone could hear him.
"My bad! You know nothing about my candies. You literally don't know what you have eaten! Haha!"
The anger from the worm's initial attack was long ago gone and one could only see the anger through slightly torn clothes. Other than that, Venes was all in an enjoyable mood where he shared his candy's information.
It was candy known as 'Purple Flesh Bomb'.
"It's pure lethal poison. We, the believers of poison gods, use poison to spread the various concepts through our enemies bodies and use time to kill them. The most known and at the same time the worst poison is known as Poison Concept where we seal our enemies' concepts. It's highly popular as we don't need to know our enemies to seal it."
"But what kind of concept can the worm such as you have? All you do is wiggle and open that disgusting mouth, so I estimated that you probably want to taste Purple Flesh Bomb which is just pure lethal poison. It slowly gets rid of the flesh."
Venes was all smiles while speaking of his poison candy.
His smile grew deeper after he moved his hand and threw the candy at a high speed into the worm's mouth. His candy was not only highly lethal, but also fast and nearly unavoidable!
Even Kyoya from the side found such speed to be absurd! He couldn't see through it and just stood in silence while keeping an eye on the man and the worm.
"It seems like nothing can be a threat to him, at least for now."
"Yes, the husband."
"Let's leave him alone and look at the spider-like voids."
Kyoya had no knowledge about these spider things or even voids. The same went for literally everyone except Venes.
However, there was a common goal between everyone here.
It was to catch these small void creatures and learn about them through encounters! Kyoya also closed up distance to Miss Olivia and asked her an obvious question.
"Do you think these void creatures are the ones you heard?"
The husband was as respectful as before. It was the business husband and he had no problems keeping this image for the fox lady. Even in this situation, he spoke without any problem.
Olivia took that as given since she didn't know Kyoya that well yet.
She shook her head to the question, then answered with a slightly dejected voice.
"I don't think these creatures can even speak. This worm too; they all rely on their instincts and are pure monsters by nature. But their element is unknown, so we should quickly grab a few voids!"
"I agree, Miss Olivia!"
The husband used his fast speed to bring himself and his wife to the closest spider. He had Xaya on his back and she didn't use her ghost form, but just held him tightly with one hand wrapped around neck.
It was not uncomfortable or ever would be with a lady such as Xaya.
The husband deeply looked at the void creature that was moving based on its instincts. For now, the spiders were just sneakily moving around and analyzing the new world without any threat to everyone.
Things changed when one wanted to catch them.
Their instincts kicked in and an unique power spread on its legs.
"Mr. Kyoya. This power is foreign, but it literally dispersed the ground beneath it."
"Yes. If we follow the name 'Void', then their main element is to erase everything."
The husband issued the quest to catch the void spiders, his party all received it with smiles. It was a challenge and quest that was rewarded with a lot of stats, so everyone began to circle around the spiders. The goal was to close all possible escape routes.
Kyoya was just with his wife and Miss Olivia, so they took a different approach and just went all out with the spider.
It wasn't a challenge, but some wounds were inevitable.
In this case, the spider got wounded and lost one of its legs.
"Seal it properly in your inventory, Xaya."
"Yes, the husband!"
"As for this one… It doesn't look threatening at all…"
Kyoya used gloves to grasp the spider. He held it by one leg and carefully examined its appearance. A moment later, the spider suddenly let out a sudden attack which was some kind of acid.
This acid was blocked by the husband's knife clad in the divine energy.
[Akaro(Goddess Fiana): Don't let this acid touch you. It can erase your divine energy, so it's lethal. Too lethal.]
[Kyoya(A weirdo husbando): I understand.]
Kyoya didn't know what was going through Akaro's head when she said that. She was keeping an eye on everyone in the face of the foreign race she herself was not aware of. This was already a shocking matter as Akaro was older than this whole world pillar.
So what kind of race was it?
However, the acid that could erase the divine energy without much problem was something Akaro couldn't understand. There was a chance that some poison god's experiment was being done on the other side, but Akaro found it less likely with each passing second.
After all, she would recognize divine energy, no matter what form.
The whole matter was too big, even though it didn't look like it for every adventurer gathered in the bottomless pit.
For a moment, Akaro also considered calling her main body and revealing her forbidden existence, but this thought faded away after Akaro glanced at the husband. She decided to just share this matter with the husband later on.
The goal was to keep a little of these void creatures for themselves and the whole 23rd floor won't disappear at any cost. Even if its energies get stolen by Venes, the floor will exist no matter what.
