The day went by quickly and Butler Tang came to fetch the three children from school. He accompanied them to the mall where Daiyu had her haircut. They first gave her a trim, cutting off around three inches of her hair before giving her an S wave perm.

Upon seeing the final result, Liu Jin's eyes widened. Daiyu's new hairstyle was exactly the same as the one she had when they met in the afterlife. Remembering her beautiful face, he blushed.

"Jin-gege!"

"X-Xiao Yu Y-you're so beautiful." He stuttered.

"Hehe!" Daiyu giggled and covered her mouth with her little hands.

"L-let's go look for Zhihao now."

"Owkay!"

Zhihao left earlier to buy some snacks but forgot to return upon being distracted by the arcade.

"Zhihao-gege!" Daiyu called him.

"Woah! Who is this total beauty?!" He commented upon seeing Daiyu's new haircut.

Daiyu giggled.

"Here, Xiao Yu." He then handed her a small fluffy brown bear he won from the claw machine.

They then proceeded to the restaurant that Butler Tang had booked for them earlier.

After dinner, Daiyu returned home. She quickly rushed to her room and dragged Xiao Nuan along with her. Zhihao's birthday was coming up and she had been working hard to prepare gifts.

"Xiao Yu, it's time for you to sleep." Xiao Nuan tried dissuading her.

"Just just a bit more!" She replied as she busily continued her sewing.

"I can help you finish it if you want." Xiao Nuan offered.

"N-no! Daiyu has to make it alone!" She huffed.

Xiao Nuan chuckled.

"Xiao Yu, if you sleep late, you'll have bags under your eyes and you'll look like a chubby raccoon tomorrow."

Daiyu was stunned and her eyes widened upon the realization.

"D-Daiyu doesn't want to be a raccoon!" She complained and Xiao Nuan laughed.

"Then let's go to sleep okay? You can finish this tomorrow. After your private lessons, we'll work on this at once. Okay?"

Daiyu hesitated.

"Chubby raccoon." Xiao Nuan reminded her.

"N-no!"

Xiao Nuan laughed and watched as Daiyu quickly ran to her bed. After cleaning up their mess, Xiao Nuan tucked her in and Daiyu obediently went to sleep.

For the next five days, Daiyu worked hard to finish her gifts. On the fifth night, she finally succeeded.

"F-Finished!" She proudly showed Xiao Nuan her work.

Xiao Nuan clapped and praised Daiyu. For a six-year-old, Daiyu really was good with the needle.

"Alright. Xiao Yu, you need your beauty rest now. Tomorrow, we'll dress you up for the birthday party."

"O-owkay." Daiyu nodded.

The next day, Daiyu was brought to the Zheng Residences inside the Wang family car.

"Zhihao-gege!" Daiyu ran towards him and Zhihao immediately caught her.

"Xiao Yu!"

Daiyu giggled as Zhihao hugged her tightly.

"Zhihao-gege! Your house is so pretty! Like Like a castle!"

"Hehe. Really?"

Daiyu nodded.

"And and Zhihao-gege looks like a prince!" She stated as she stared at his beautiful blond hair.

"Then you should see my mom."

"Daiyu has seen! Zhihao-gege's mom is so beautiful!"

"Oh my! What a sweet child!" Victoria blushed.

"H-Hello Zhihao-gege's mommy." She greeted shyly.

Victoria laughed.

"Hello, Xiao Yu. Thank you for always playing with my son." She bent down and greeted her.

Daiyu blushed.

"N-no pwoblem. Zhihao-gege is Daiyu's hero!" She proudly stated and Victoria laughed.

"Zhi, I'll be in the garden with your aunts. Enjoy your party now."

Zhihao nodded. Victoria gently patted Daiyu's head before leaving. Daiyu stood still, starstruck.

"Zhihao-gege's mommy is so beautiful. Daiyu Daiyu wants to be like her!"

"Hehe. Don't worry Xiao Yu, you'll grow up to be even more beautiful."

"R-Really?!"

Zhihao nodded. He remembered how Daiyu looked like in the afterlife. Saying she had the face of a goddess was not an understatement. Right now, all that beauty was still hidden under her baby fat. But in no time, Zhihao was sure that her beauty would shine. By then, Liu Jin would surely have a hard time fending off other men.

"Hehe." He giggled at the thought.

"What are you laughing at?"

"Jin-gege!" Daiyu quickly ran into Liu Jin's arms and he caught her in a hug.

"Xiao Yu." He smiled.

"Oh right! Xiao Yu! My gift, my gift! Where's my gift?" Zhihao excitedly asked.

Daiyu then trotted over to the sofa before returning to them. She then handed him a box wrapped with pink paper before handing another box to Liu Jin.

"Can I open it now? Can I, can I?!"

Daiyu giggled and nodded.

Zhihao then excitedly tore through the box.

"Hey! Be gentler!" Liu Jin reminded him but his words were easily ignored.

"W-Woah!" Zhihao took out a yellow sweater. His favorite video game character was sewn onto it clumsily but he could clearly recognize it.

"Xiao Yu you made this?"

Daiyu nodded.

"Wow! You're really improving!" Last year, she could only sew a few clumsy words but now she was able to draw an entire character.

Liu Jin was filled with envy. Suddenly, he remembered that he had a gift too. He quickly opened it and found the same sweater in blue and like Zhihao's it had his favorite character sewn onto it.

He blushed. His Daiyu had worked hard for him. He excitedly wore it, not realizing that Zhihao wore his too.

"Jin-gege and Zhihao-gege are matching!" She excitedly pointed it out.

"Hey! Take yours off!" Liu Jin gritted his teeth.

"W-Why?! You take yours off!"

"Not a chance!"

Since both boys refused to take their sweaters off, they remained matching for the rest of the party.

"Oh my! You boys sure like each other." Victoria greeted.

"No!" They both denied her but Victoria only smiled at them knowingly. They were like an old couple shyly denying their love for each other.

After Zhihao's party, the children returned to their school life and soon, it was time for the annual sports fest. The children were grouped into teams and during the span of three days, they would compete with each other in different sports ranging from relays, races, to ball games.

Parents were invited and the different school clubs were going to open booths. There were going to be food stalls, cafes, mini-games, and even haunted houses.

Of course, Daiyu was very excited. She wasn't part of any club yet but she had planned to spend the three days with her big brothers. She had also invited Wang Jing and Butler Tang to fill in the position of her parents.

Right now, the teacher was assigning them into groups.

"Daiyu wants Daiyu wants to join the race!" She excitedly volunteered herself.

"Okay then, Daiyu you can join this team."

Daiyu excitedly ran towards her friends. She was in the same team as Fu Chunhua and Zhou Yan.

"Yan Yan! Come join the race with Daiyu!" She invited him.

He blushed. The boy had a huge crush on her but was too shy to confess.

"O-Okay. I'll join you."

"Yay!" Daiyu cheered happily.

Meanwhile, Liu Jin and Zhihao were likewise assigned to the same team.

"Since the two of youare on the same team, you can likewise share the position of captain." The teacher stated.

"No, Jin can take it." Zhihao relented.

The teacher was surprised.

"Are you sure?"

Zhihao nodded. He had never questioned Liu Jin's ability to lead. He would never admit it for the life of him but he had always looked up to the boy.

" Did you eat something weird?" Liu Jin looked at him worriedly.

A vein popped on Zhihao's head.

"Weird?! You're weird!!!"

"W-What?! I'm just worried! Then is something wrong with your head?! Did you hit yourself?!"

"S-Shut up!"

For the next two weeks, Daiyu and Zhihao practiced together. Liu Jin was busy planning for their class so Zhihao trained with Daiyu. He would time her when she ran, give her tips, and even watched her diet for her.

Of course, poor little Daiyu suffered. A day without sweets was torture enough for her. What more for two weeks?! But her Zhihao-gege was surprisingly strict and Daiyu had to cut down on her sugar intake.

"Zhihao-gege, you pwomise Daiyu?" She pestered him as she shook his arm.

"I promise, I promise. After you win, I'll take you to the waterpark."

"Really?!"

"Maybe"

Daiyu pouted and stomped on his foot.

"Ouch!"

"Jin-gegeeeeee!" Daiyu complained to Liu Jin. He chuckled.

"I'll help you ask Grandfather Wang, okay?"

"Really?!"

Liu Jin nodded.

"J-Jin-gege is the best!"

"Hey! What about me? It was my idea!"

"Zhihao-gege is second best!"

"WHAT?!"
