A day in the life of Wang Jing

Wang Jing wakes up at six in the morning every day. He goes to the garden for a short walk before exercising until seven.

Ever since Daiyu's arrival at the mansion, he had forced himself to stop smoking. He didn't want her inhaling secondhand smoke and he wanted her to have a good impression of him. Moreover, because Daiyu was always energetic and wanted to play with him a lot, he had been taking walks and exercising to get his stamina back.

At seven in the morning, after exercising, he would go and have breakfast with Daiyu. Recently, his appetite had greatly improved. Watching Daiyu eat wholeheartedly had always made the food taste much better.

At half-past seven, Daiyu would kiss him goodbye before leaving for school. He would then go back to his room to freshen up before leaving for the office.

Every day was a harsh battle in the corporate world. The stocks would rise and fall like dominos and he had to protect their company for Daiyu to inherit in the future.

In the past, he would often stay at the office until late at night. Ever since he lost his wife and son, there had been no reason left to call the Wang Mansion his home.

However, recently, he had been looking forward to going home every day. He would wash his hands and gargle before visiting Daiyu at the study.

"Grandpaw!!!" Daiyu would run to him excitedly and welcome him home with a kiss.

He would then have tea in the lounge until Liu Jin and Daiyu finished their private lessons. After that, he would have dinner with them before retiring to his own room.

Sometimes, Daiyu would visit him. She would ask him to read her a story before nodding off to sleep.

On Sundays, he would make pancakes for Daiyu. After a lot of practice and coaching from the chef, he finally managed to create fluffy and sweet pancakes for her. Right now, his goal was to learn how to make one in the shape of a bear. He remembered the first time he made one for her and he cringed at the memory.

In the afternoons, Liu Honghui would come over and play Chinese chess with him. Sometimes, Daiyu would sing for them while they played or just silently draw in the same room as them.

After a wonderful day of relaxing, Monday would come and Wang Jing would again continue to work hard for Daiyu.

A day in the life of Butler Tang

Butler Tang wakes up at five in the mornings.

He starts his morning routine by making sure that the maids were up and about before checking on the kitchen. He checks the ingredients, making sure they had enough, before listing down the ones to buy later on.

Then, he would accompany Wang Jing for his morning walk before going back to the mansion to have breakfast.

In the past, he would only have breakfast after Wang Jing had his. But Daiyu had always insisted that he join them and one day, she had enough of being rejected by her Uncle Tang. She refused to eat until he did and finally relenting, Butler Tang joined them for breakfast from that day onwards.

After breakfast, Butler Tang would send Daiyu off to school. While the three children rode the Zheng family car, Butler Tang would still follow them inside the Wang family car to ensure that they reached the academy safely.

After that, he would personally do the groceries, making sure to buy enough healthy snacks for Daiyu to enjoy.

Upon returning home, he would have lunch before leaving for the company to attend meetings until four in the afternoon.

He would wait for Daiyu to arrive home before they had a 'tea party.' She would dress him up in blankets and decorate his hair with flowers before sharing with him gossips she heard in school over a cup of sweet tea.

"And and then, Chunhua told Zhenzhen that that her bag was f-fake!"

"Oh my. How scandalous."

After playing with little Daiyu, she would proceed to the study to have her private lessons while Butler Tang made sure that dinner was ready. He would check on the maids and made sure that they completed their chores for the day before joining the family for dinner.

After finishing the last few tasks for the day, Butler Tang would retire to his room.

Sometimes, whenever it was thundering outside or whenever she had nightmares, Daiyu would crawl into his bed and nuzzle up to him. She didn't want to disturb her grandfather because of his health but she was very much willing to disturb her Uncle Tang.

Of course, Butler Tang didn't mind. While he would pretend to lightly scold her, saying that a thunderstorm was nothing to be afraid of, he would make sure that the windows were tightly shut before wrapping little Daiyu up in blankets and keeping her warm the entire night.

Recently, because he had felt the warmth that Daiyu had brought into his life, Butler Tang had began to want a daughter of his own. Would she be as adorable as little Daiyu?

A day in the life of Liu Shuren

Every Saturday, Daiyu would visit the Liu Estate after her voice lessons. She would visit Nana and the baby, keeping them company until dinner time when Liu Jin would arrive home from training. Of course, Shuren would be with them the entire time and he would inadvertently spend his day with her too.

Recently, he had begun looking forward to her visits. While admittedly, at the start, he went easy on her because she was cute, he genuinely started enjoying Daiyu's presence.

Nana smiled more around Daiyu, and Shuren loved that. He also loved the way Daiyu looked at him eyes filled with sincerity, the same ones he found in Nana the first time he met her.

Daiyu had also persuaded him to spend more time with Liu Jin.

"Daddy, you need you need to love Jin-gege more! You need to kiss, like this." She kissed his cheek softly.

"And and hug, like this." She hugged his neck and rested her head on his shoulders.

"Because when grandpaw doesn't kiss and hug Daiyu, Daiyu feels lonely. Jin-gege must feel lonely too."

" He has his mother to do that." He replied.

Daiyu shook her head.

"It's not the sameeeee!"

He chuckled.

"If If Daiyu had two grandpaws, and and one grandpaw didn't hug and love Daiyu, Daiyu would be lonely!" She pouted and furrowed her brows.

"Daddy can't be choosey!" She cupped his face with her little hands and looked him straight in the eye.

"Pwomise Daiyu?"

"Mmm?"

"Pwomise Daiyu to love Jin-gege more?"

He chuckled.

" Alright. I'll try."

Daiyu squealed in delight and she peppered his face with kisses.

"Daddy is the best!"

He chuckled.

After dinner that night, Shuren tried Daiyu's advice. He went up to Liu Jin, bent down, and hugged him without saying a word.

Shocked, Liu Jin tensed up before running to his mother, saying that Shuren had hit his head and needed a checkup.

He laughed so hard that night, enjoying his son's shocked and panicked face. He decided that hugging him once in a while was not so bad. His son was surprisingly very cute.

A day in the life of Victoria Zheng

My name is Victoria Zheng. I am the mother of two beautiful sons, Zheng Zhichen and Zheng Zhihao.

My oldest son, Zhichen, is a fantastic son. He's the perfect example of a gentleman smart, handsome, and very polite. My youngest son, on the other hand, is well very energetic.

He runs around the entire day, bothering the maids and drivers, and causing up a huge ruckus in school. And while the heavens had blessed him with divine looks, they must have run out of intellect to give him.

One time, the teachers had summoned me at school, saying that he had failed every subject except for English. You cannot imagine the horror I experienced while trying to break the news gently to his father.

Still, I would be lying if I said that I wasn't proud of him.

This boy, he brings happiness to the hearts of everyone he meets. He's very friendly whether to the young or old, to the simple company staff or to his father's colleagues he treats everyone equally.

He is truly a child with a beautiful soul and Icannot deny that I have very high hopes for him. While he may not make it far in terms of academics but I am sure that he'd make it far in life.

"Mom! Mom! Look!! The neighbors are making out!!!"

"Zhihao! Leave them alone!!!"
