(Author note: I just noticed I forgot to add the house elf assassin training to the last time skip. I'll do it for the next one.)
Since I've finished another year of training, I'm going on vacation. I need to clear my head to figure out what I should do with this new life. I died without really accomplishing much in my last life. I want to accomplish something great in this new chance I've gotten. I just need to find a goal to push myself towards. Mimsy got me some brochures from a traveling agency. I decided to travel around the UK, I live here, but I've barely left my house unless it's to train or get food.
So I did what normal tourists do, see the sights and stayed at hotels. While I was walking back to my hotel one night, I heard a scream coming from an alleyway. As I moved to see what was happening, I saw a group wizard's with wands in hand, chasing a boy about my age. The wizards are dressed in robes, and the boy is wearing muggle clothing. What surprised me is the color of the boy's eyes, they're red and seem to shine in the dark. The kid's either a vampire, or an albino, but based on his blown hair I'd wager he's a vamp.
Vampires are magically reanimated human corpses that are inhabited by the souls of the deceased person. Vampires feed and survive on the blood of the living, typically on that of humans, and they can also transform other humans into more of their kind by sharing their own blood with them. Vampires are classed as creatures in wizarding society. Because of that, they have no rights and are thought of as animals. Based on the kid's age I'd say he's a natural-born vampire, which is rare because the birth rate for vamps is very low.
I stood at the opening of the alley with my hood up, the boy running towards me with the wizards hot on his tail. I cast multiple disarming charms, causing their wands to fly out of the wizard's grasp. The robed men looked around in confusion until they spotted me at the mouth of the alley. Not wanting to give them a chance to recover, I use telekinesis to levitate the wands to me.
"Why don't we all just calm down. I'm sorry to stop your vampire hunting, but killing kids is messed up, even vampire kids." I said.
"Give us our wands little boy, or we'll call the Aurors. Vamps are nothing but leeches, and age means nothing when they're thirsty." the lead wizard said, putting up a brave facade, but inside he's scared. A wizard without his wand is practically a muggle.
"Ohh no, I better give you these wands back then." I said, causing the wizards to sigh in relief. "Wait, don't you need these twigs to call the Aurors?" I said, smiling at them with my hood shadowing the top half of my face, as their wands circle my body. I walk up the boy, but he flinches away from me. "I'll take care of this from here, you can relax now." I reassured him, patting his shoulder. The exhaustion catches up to him, and he collapses on the floor. I levitate him behind me and face the wizards. "Why are you still here? Go on scurry along now." I said, shooing them away with my hands. Their faces turned red, and I could swear I saw a vein throbbing on their foreheads.
"He's only a kid if we rush em all together at least one of us will get our wand." The leader said, raising the morale of his followers.
"I will say this once if you attack me you will die. I have no mercy for child killers, this is your one chance to leave." I said menacingly, but they didn't listen.
To them, I was a kid who took them by surprise and stole their wands. The first to charge at me was the leader followed by the rest. I simply levitated them off the ground, so they can't move. They struggled in the air with shocked faces, not expecting me to be powerful enough to lift them.
"Well, you made your choice. Don't blame your meaningless deaths on me." I said snapping their necks with telekinesis. I accidentally put to much power into it, and their heads turned all the way around like the movie exorcist. I expected them to die, but not in such a gruesome manner. I was dazed for a while just looking at the still floating bodies.
*Pop*
"Master Harry Potter sir, You's ok?" Dobby said, drawing my attention causing the bodies to fall the ground. When did he get here?
"Yeah, I'm ok, Thanks for asking dobby. Can you take care of the mess over there for me." I said, pointing to the dead bodies. Dobby nodded and got to work.
After that I had Dobby bring me and the kid back to the hotel. Mimsy set the couch up, so the kid could sleep comfortably. I went to bed without eating dinner that night. The only thing I could think of until I fell asleep is how easy it was to kill someone.
When I woke up the kid was still asleep, so I had Mimsy go to a nearby hospital to steal some blood. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, but I don't feel like being his breakfast. When the blood was delivered I took a glass of water and dumped it on the kid's head. He jumped off the couch tumbling onto the floor.
"Come on kid breakfast is ready." I said, walking out of the room leaving a shocked and confused vamp behind.
While sitting in the dining area of the hotel room, Mimsy brings me a full English breakfast. A minute into my meal the vamp kid strolls in looking at me funny. I point to the seat in front of me, and Mimsy pulls it out for him to sit. When he takes the seat, Mimsy serves him a tall glass of blood with a swirly straw. He looked between me, and the blood suspiciously.
"If I wanted to harm you, I would've done it while you slept. You should drink, I can tell your thirsty." I said, pushing the glass back in front of him. He inevitably gives drinking the blood, but not before taking the swirly straw out. (yeah, go ahead and ruin my fun) After his first sip, he had blood on his top lip that reminded me of a milk mustache.
"What's your name little vamp?" I asked.
"Damon Kreiger and I'm not a vampire I'm a Dhampir." He stated, surprising me. A Dhampir, also called a Daywalker, is the child of a vampire father and a human mother. Dhampirs inherit powers from Vampires such as superhuman strength, speed, agility, reflexes, senses, stamina, endurance, healing factor, even immortality, and hypnosis. The main thing that sets them apart from vamps is they can walk in the sunlight, hence the name Daywalker. Their powers start out weaker than vampires, but grow stronger as they age.
