2 Chapter 2: 3 Years

In a large kitchen within a black castle, a small 3 year old boy with fair white skin, jet black hair, and ruby red eyes wearing what seemed to be a red attire that looked similar to what a prince would wear albeit smaller could be seen sneaking around.

"Hmmmmm I'm pretty sure that those delicious fruits are here somewhere. Just have to look around more, but I better hurry before "she" finds me." The boy whispered to himself.

All of a sudden.....PAK! The boy felt something slap his poor kid butt.

"ARAYYYYY!!!" The boy shouted in pain, and then looked behind to see a large bulky "female" wearing a maid attire with a very creepy grin while holding what seemed to be a long ruler standing near him.

"YOUNGGGG MASTERRRRR<3 you're such a naauuughty boyyyy hihihi escaping from your studies like that to get food when I left for restroom for a bit ;)." The bulky "female" maid said with a "high pitched" voice.

"Fudge!!!!!" The boy loudly exclaimed then quickly ran out the kitchen as fast as he could using his tiny little legs.

"Ohhhhh masterrrrrrrrrr <3 YOU.CAN'T.ESCAPE ;)." The "female" maid said then chased after the boy.

This boy that was running for his dear life was Robert. It's been 3 years since he was reincarnated in this world. Apparently, he was born as the first son of a well-known demon noble. Who is this demon noble that seemed to be so well-known? Of course, it's non other than your friendly neighborhood demon king. Yep, that's right; the demon king.

When Robert first learned of this during the first month of him being able to open his eyes, the first thought of his was exactly "DAMN THAT SAVOS!! YOU JUST TO REINCARNATE ME AS THE SON OF THE DEMON KING! NOW I HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT DAMNED HEROS COMING TO REAP MY SORRY BUTT IN THE FUTURE!"

Additionally, due to his blessings of language and the 1000% efficiency buff for learning, Robert was able to show intelligence that was way beyond his age therefore when his parents saw this, they immediately appointed tutors to "guide" him using a strict 6 hour learning regiment per day ever since he was 2 years old as this was the age he showed such intelligence. Another thing which Robert was annoyed about was that he was still named "Robert" despite his parents having such cool name like Astrith and Vulcan. When he asked his parents about this when he turned 2 years old, they said that the name sounded noble, and that it exuded an aura of sophistication. Robert head ached when he heard this causing him to rub his temples.

Anyways, Robert knew he could have avoided such a fate of strict learning, but since he wanted to be a damned show off, he said to himself "Fudge it! I want to be considered a genius!!!! I might have to face heroes in the future so I better try and get all the resources I can to prepare.", and so we arrive at our current time where you can see Robert running away from one of his tutors, the bulky "female", while obviously regretting his decision to be such a show off at such a young age.

"YOUUNGGGG MASSTERRRRRRRR COMEEE BAAAACK <3" Shouted the bulky "female" maid before swooping down and catching the poor kid, and then putting him on her? shoulder to bring him back to his room for more learning.

"Ohhhhh young masterrrrr don't run away to get snacks next time or else master will scold me <3" The "female" maid said.

Knowing his fate was sealed, Robert gave up on any further resistance, and thus, let himself be transported back to the room.

Back at the room, Robert was reading diligently reading through a book about the the world, and its history. He was able to learn the alphabet of the continent he was in during his "I want to be a genius" phase, and so he's now stuck to reading books during the 3rd hour of his daily learning regiment. Speaking of continents, the continent that he was in was called "Arcusignis". Oddly enough, just like the ignis in the name, the continent was riddled with volcanoes, flame covered lands, and even more places that has some sort of relation with fire. Also, the main element of magic within this continent was fire though that didn't mean that other elements weren't present. It's just that training fire magic was more efficient and way easier due to the nature of the continent. There may be more to learn about this, but that's something to be mentioned in the future.

Anyways, there are three other continents besides the one he was residing on, and those continents were similar in the aspect that each continent has their own main element which corresponds to their name and land aspects. For example, "Arcusaqua" for water, "Arcuscaeli" for air, and "Arcusterra" for Earth. He found it weird that the latin word for earth existed and was used here despite the planet being called something else, but he thought that maybe in the far distant past, there were latin people that got reincarnated here. Speaking of the planet, it was called "Arcus". Yep, just that. Truth be told, he thought that the names for the world and continent was somewhat lame and redundant, but he didn't dare say it out loud as for some reason, the people seemed to think differently from him about this.

Also, the current year is 9870 AU. What is "AU"? Well, it stands for "After Unification" as back then, wars happened frequently, and that is was very gruesome as the different natures and elements of the people in each continent countered each other yet people from one continent still argued with other people from other continents leading to a debate about which element is best, and then slowly escalating to an all out war. He thought this was stupid yet typical.

Anyways, someone suddenly felt that they had enough of this fudging war, and so they went to different continents and places finding people that would help them in stopping it. This person's name was Fidem. Fidem was very powerful and at the same time quite influential as he was considered to be a local lord in the continent he lived in therefore he was able to create a foundation before slowly building up a whole organization that started the "Unification" which included Fidem and his most trusted and most powerful comrades to visit influential people in each continent to convince to join them through either peaceful or violent means. Anyways, Fidem was incredibly smart too so he was able to win over many people through debate and by also demonstrating why each element should live in harmony, and that all are equal. For those that didn't comply no matter what, they were "taken care of".

What about the months you may ask? Well, there are 12 months just like on Earth with each month being 30 days long, and those days spanned 24 hours. Meaning, it was very similar to Earth.

Now to that family of his, Robert was the first son of Victor and Astrith. Vulcan is the

13001st demon king whole Astrith is the 10024th demon queen as there was a period in the past wherein there were no queens as the demons were very sexist, and believed that women were not suited for high positions. Heck, there were only princes back then, and all female born from the noble blood were sent to become chefs at the kitchen.

That all changed when demon king Argon rebelled against traditions and abolished all sexist rules, and started to let female demons get the recognition they deserve (Hail Argon!).

Closing the book, Robert breathed out, and stood up from the chair after the "female" maid whose name was "Pantera" told him that it's time for his 30 minute break.

Robert stretched, and then proceeded to go meet his mother Astrith.
