6 Chapter 6: The Awaited Birthday Part 2

The announcement of the Demon King's arrival led to the whole crowd quieting down. This led to the Grand Hall becoming quiet to the point that you could hear the sound of a fork if it fell down to the ground within this vast area. The large doors of the Grand Hall's entrance slowly opened.

With the doors being opened, the crowd could see a tall young man with long straight jet black hair, fiery red eyes that contained a burning and resolute gaze similar to that a general or warrior has in a crucial battle, fair and smooth skin, a youthful face that still exuded a feeling nobility along with wearing a red robe fit for a king. This man was Vulcan, Demon king and ruler of Arcusignis.

The crowd made way for the king silently as the king slowly but surely walked towards a stage located up front of the Grand Hall. The king stepped up on the stage, and then proceeded to gaze through the silent crowd, and then smirked before speaking.

"Thank you everyone for coming. It is an honor to have the esteemed nobles and high ranked officials from all around the continent to attend my son's 4th birthday. I don't want to make a long speech so I just want to say that you should enjoy yourselves." The Demon king said in a calm yet masculine voice which could cause females on Earth to have their hearts skip a beat as they fall in love.

The crowd broke their silence, and clapped loudly while cheering. If you look closely in the crowd, you could see some of the female guests such as the lamias and the harpies blushing, and directing a feverish gaze towards the handsome king.

The Queen, Astrith, noticed these gazes, but paid them no mind as she, The Queen, will not her husband be taken away, and that whoever attempts to do so shall face deadly consequences.

On the side, Robert merely wanted the crowd to lower the volume. The crowd was filled several beings larger, and definitely louder than an average human so the volume of the noise is far louder than a human crowd.

He also didn't understand why there was always such a reaction whenever his dad spoke like this as he has seen speak like these to a crowd, and even during his second and third birthday, and sure enough, they all reacted the same way despite not delivering any stellar speech. Robert thought that maybe it's because of the charisma of the king or something along those lines.

King Vulcan gestured the crowd to quiet down, and then proceeded to walk to the crowd where he was greeted by the numerous guests.

Robert thought of approaching his father, but decided to put it off later once his father finished greeting the guests. Robert then decided roam a bit.

"Hmmm let's see if I can find someone to annoy" Robert said to himself.

Robert liked to annoy for some reason even in his past life. He found it fun, but of course, he didn't go too far with his annoyance.

"Hm???" Robert then spotted a cute girl around the same age as him eating in a corner.

The girl was the around the same as him, and was extremely cute. She had blonde hair, cute big blue eyes, and wore a white dress with frills. What really caught Robert's attention the most were the cute cat ears on the girl's head ,and the tail that wagged happily as the girl ate some cream puffs.

Robert was anxious. In the past, he wouldn't approach a stranger like this especially if it was a girl, but he just couldn't resist simple because she was too damned cute.

Before you go "Ugh, Furry lover", bear in mind that Robert is in a different world right now. Plus, Robert wasn't harboring any unhealthy thoughts, and he just wanted to know the girl. He just turned four, and for him, it was still way too early to find someone to get in a relationship with.

"*Exhale* ok Robert ,you got this. You're handsome, and you're the prince. You're also a kid so it wouldn't look weird to approach another kid." Robert said to himself as he made this way to the cat girl who was happily eating cream puffs.

Once Robert was a few meters away from the girl, the girl abruptly stopped eating, and then turned quickly to look at Robert who suddenly froze due his surprise.

Seeing the blue eyes of the girl staring at him, Robert began to feel nervous, but calmed himself once more before moving towards the girl again.

"Hey the-" Robert said before the girl jumped out of the corner, and then began to run the other way while holding her remaining cream puffs as if it were her treasures.

"WTF!??" Robert said surprised before running to follow the girl.

"Oh no you don't, I didn't muster up the damned courage to approach and talk to you just so you could run from me" Robert said to himself as he cast his elementary haste spell on himself buffing his speed.

'Desperate times call for desperate measures' Robert thought to himself.

The girl moved swiftly and nimbly through the crowd which didn't surprise Robert as it may be due to her being part cat. Robert wasn't a slouch either as he learned how to sidestep, shuffle, and other footwork along with how to adjust his weight distribution when moving from his combat tutors and his constant sparring with them.

The two eventually reached the point where they had to ran out the Grand hall into the hallways. They were moving through the long hallways, and they kept on roaming through the large castle going through twists and turns eventually tiring themselves out and stopping.

"*huff* Damned *pant* girl *huff* all I wanted *huff* was to talk." Said the tired Demon prince.

"*pant* you *huff* shall *pant* GET MY FOOD *pant*" Exclaimed the girl.

"*huff* fudging hell *pant* were you even *huff* listening??" Asked Robert.

The two rested and tried to catch their breath for a bit before continuing. The girl was about to run off again before-

"ELEMENTARY ICE SPELL!" Robert shouted as he slammed his palm the ground freezing and creating a small layer of ice on the floor causing the girl to slide and fall.

'I never thought I'd use one of my secret spells like this.' Thought Robert as he remembered the time he spent learning this spell outside his usual magic lessons from his mother.

*THUD*

The girl fell on the floor dropping her cream puffs, and started to cry.

" Ah fudge, why'd I do that instead of doing something uhhhh more reasonable." Robert said to himself before going to the girl, and reaching out his hand.

"I'm sorry for doing that. Hey, let's go, and I'll bring you to the Grand hall or even the kitchen to get more tasty treats" Robert said to the girl.

"*sniffle* really" The girl said with her tears still falling from her cute face.

'Ughhhhhhhhhhh I feel sooooo guiltyyyyy hurting herrrrrrrrrrr.' Robert thought to himself as his heart ached due to her cuteness, and to the fact that he caused her to cry.

"Yep, come on" Robert said while still having his hand reaching out.

"Okay! ^_^" The girl said holding out to Robert's hand, and using it to get up.

"Hey, may I ask, what is your name?" Robert said.

"My name is Lisa." The girl said.

"Lisa?Hmm my name is Robert." Replied the demon prince.

"Nice to meet you Robert ^_^"Lisa said while smiling.

"Nice to meet you too Lisa." Robert replied.

The two chatted as they went back to the Grand hall.

Several hooded figures could be seen moving through the shadows in the castle.

"The time is near my brothers. Our fate depends on this. Move out!" One of the hooded figures said.

The other hooded figures nodded before dispersing.

"Just you wait you damned Vulcan. I'll have my revenge soon HaHAhaHaHaHA" The hooded figured said while laughing to himself.
