22 Chapter 22: Blaze Vs Nether

Aries got wrecked. There's no doubt about it. The young blonde lady-killer couldn't stand even a single hit. The moment the fire missile engulfed Aries, he was immediately transported outside the stage.

The crowd stared in surprise. They knew that Robert must have been extraordinary to be admitted into Pinnacle at such a young age, but they certainly weren't expecting a five year old boy capable of wielding Advanced level magic.

Goliath was shocked, but he soon grinned widely, and gave a big thumbs up. The hooded figure narrowed his eyes at Robert emitting battle intent. The girls glanced at Robert, but soon looked at the stunned Aries who was on the ground. Aries couldn't believe that he was utterly decimated by someone so young.

Lifelight, on the other hand, stroked his beard while his eyes gleamed. It seemed like another monster was enrolled in the academy. Things might become really interesting in the nearby future.

"Okay, thank you Aries and Robert. Robert, do you wish to find another opponent?" Lifelight asked as he looked at Robert.

Robert looked surveyed the crowd before shaking his head obviously not intent on battling. He didn't want to fight using magic yet. He knew that if he fought against Tier 4 students in a magic battle, it would be unfair as he could rapid fire advanced level magic.

The crowd was already stunned seeing him use advanced level magic so one could imagine the reaction he could get if he used his expert ranked spells. He stepped down the stage, and returned to Goliath's side.

"I wasn't expecting you to be so ferocious. You didn't even give the guy a chance." Goliath said to Robert before laughing.

"I didn't want to do it. I just wanted to watch." Robert replied while shrugging which caused Goliath to laugh loudly again.

"Next student, please come up." Lifelight said.

This time the hooded boy came up. His sharp gaze roamed around the crowd, and despite being a young boy, the gaze caused many of the students to feel a chill run down their spines. His gaze eventually ended up on the person beside Robert. This caused Robert to be surprised as to why he'd pick Goliath.

"Me??¿¿" Goliath asked as he pointed at himself.

"Who else if not you? Come up here " Said the hooded boy.

"Okie dokie then." Goliath said as he walked up the stage.

Goliath was big and tall. One could wonder if someone like this could ever be a kid aged 12-14 years old. This didn't stop the hooded boy from challenging Goliath though.

The two faced each other on the stage. One was a three meter giant while the other was a young boy around 5'1 feet tall. The contrast between the two of them was vast.

The hooded boy looked up to match his gaze with Goliath who was looking down at him. Under the hooded boy's mask, he smiled.

"Your name was Goliath right? I assume your from the Titan race. Specifically the Blaze Titans." Said the Hooded boy causing Goliath to raise an eyebrow.

"So what if I am?" Goliath responded while crossing his arms.

"Nothing really. I just want to show you that just because you're bigger doesn't mean you're stronger." The hooded boy said.

"Hohoho" Goliath chuckled while grinning.

The hooded boy then quickly moved back to create distance between both of them. He then raised his palm which then had several purple flames manifesting above it.

Seeing this, many students including Robert were stunned. They had never seen such a flame before. Even Lifelight went wide-eyed seeing the flames.

"To think that even THAT clan sent one of their own here." Lifelight said to himself

"Pretty flame, but what does it do?" Goliath mused.

"You'll see soon enough. Go." The hooded boy said.

The purple flames then rushed towards Goliath. Goliath grinned before emitting a low growl. His body soon emitted a bright orange flame that covered his three meter tall body.

"COME AT ME!" Goliath roared before lunging towards the purple flames.

Goliath threw a flame coated punch towards the purple flames. The fist of Goliath was causing the purple flames to be diminished slowly, but the hooded boy seemed calm, and didn't care. The boy then soon lifted up his other palm which manifested a purple flame spike.

He threw the spike at Goliath who had finally finished diminishing the previous purple flames. Seeing the spike coming at him, Goliath crossed his arms which caused flames to form a shield.

The spike collided with the shield, but soon caused a hole to appear on the shield. The hooded boy didn't miss this chance. He grinned as he unleased another spell.

Small purple flame bullets shot out towards the whole in the flame shield. The bullets were small, but they were quick causing Goliath to be unable to react quickly enough. The bullets hit him causing him to emit a low groan due to the impact.

Goliath grit his teeth before stomping on the ground causing more orange flames to cover his leg. He kicked out causing a wave of orange flames to rush towards the hooded boy.

The hooded boy didn't dodge nor did he move back. He went forward. This caused the crowd to gasp. Just when they thought the orange flames would hit him, the hooded boy then dove down under the wave, and then rolled forward causing the wave of orange flames to go past him.

Goliath didn't give up. He threw a flame covered punch at the hooded boy. The hooded boy then created a purple flame spike on one hand, and purple flame bullets on the other. He then threw both spells the punch. This caused Goliath to try, and cover his fist with more flames.

The spells collided. There was short burst of purple and orange flames covering the area where the two of them were. The crowd was holding there breaths. One must know that a majority of them in Tier 4 can't use adept spells, and the ones that are able to belong to the upper tier of Tier 4. Not to mention adept spells that seemed to be unique, and are even better than common adept spells.

The flames diffused revealing a panting hooded boy, and giant gasping for air. The exchange was short, but was very intense. Even normal Tier 4 students that can use Adept spells can't cast continuous Adept spells. The Mana consumption was large for them.

Lifelight looked at the two combatants.

"That's enough. I announce this spar as a draw. Well done both of you. You two may come down." Lifelight announced while thinking about how interesting the new students are.

The two combatants didn't say anything, and came down albeit with a bit of difficulty. Goliath went back to Robert's side before sitting down.

"That was a great fight." Robert said.

"He was strong. The intensity of the purple flames was way stronger than normal flames." Goliath said.

"Most likely it's a special type of flame." Robert mused.

"I agree." Goliath nodded.

A few more students came up to spar, but none had battles that were as good as the one that just happened. Most of them were just students using elementary spells. Lifelight soon called everyone back to the class, and then saying a few things before dismissing everybody.

Robert said goodbye to Goliath before he left. Aries could be seen looking at Robert's departing back with a cold gaze. The hooded boy simply left. Now, to the last class of the day, hand-to-hand combat.
