Any normal player would question Venomous more about her words regarding the guild. It was clear her guild wouldn't be like most of the guilds that wanted to play together and do some fun stuff in the game.
She wanted to conquer the world and match all those guilds with huge companies and corporations behind them.
That was why, any normal player would ask more about the income and her plans, but Michu was just thinking about the banana farm and his future quests for it.
Inwardly, Venomous was relieved because of it.
If Michu wanted to take a risk, then he just could write a letter to the popular guild and already make some good money with popular guild support. Of course, that would be if the risk turned out successful.
Luckily for her, Nana was scared of contracts and their mother would probably get a heart attack if Michu signed something without thinking; even if the contract would be good.
"With this pace, we will arrive in the north around the evening," Venomous shoved all these thoughts deeply into her heart, then said.
On their way to the north, Michu and Venomous fought alongside each other and leveled up slowly as the roads were often clear and they didn't want to take any detours.
Unfortunately for the players, the teleport platforms were only in wealthy cities. Their beginner city would at most teleport them to 20+ cities. Though they could go here even as newbies, the money was one thing, but they just didn't have any reason to go here.
The party could only go there on their legs.
Since Kocardo City was the closest to the north, it would only take a few hours.
For today, Michu and Venomous would probably just arrive in the north, then do their prepared stuff tomorrow.
However, Michu wanted to know more about her plans, "How will we get land? Do you have money?"
"If someone were to pay, then it would be you. The one who needs land at such a level is probably only you…" Venomous felt like rolling her eyes, but she didn't show any reaction but just explained.
She said, "A land visited by many players can turn you into a millionaire alone. Most beginner cities already have players' interests within. Commonly, it's known that players who share interests with royal families in the beginner city get around 50% of the whole profit."
"Oh… How nice!" Michu replied.
"It's because they use their fame to attract newbie players…" Venomous just added that and didn't bother anymore. It didn't take a genius to tell that Michu just randomly chose the beginner city.
It was luck that was also related to her.
She was lucky to meet this monkey!
While Michu laughed, Venomous took out her sword and slashed it against the middle-sized bear that silently charged from the side, "A land costs a lot, but we can get one through quests. What we need is to gather the attention of the noble."
A sword was neatly slashed through the bear's eyes in a horizontal slash.
[Your enemy has become blind!]
"Don't let that message mislead you," Venomous's sword didn't stop at all and she thrust it deeper into the eye sockets. Blood spilled out in absurd amounts and it would leave many in wonder why this game wasn't R-18 rated yet.
"Lack of eyesight just increases its other senses… That's why press forward." Venomous killed another level ten monster, then allowed Michu to take another.
In the meantime, she returned to the previous topic, "In the north, the noble is infamous. He has a little status compared to others and many players would rather choose to go to the center. If you look from another perspective, it's like he has been excluded from the royal circle by becoming a lord here. But, he is infamous because of his view of players. Some say that he used to be a wealthy noble closer to the center, but I couldn't find more information."
Michu nodded a few times, but his focus had been laid on the level ten bear!
He clenched his staff tightly, remembering the feeling of a critical strike.
For many, it would seem like stupid action, but the critical strike had two principles behind it.
The first one would be the enemy's weak spots. It was the easiest way to inflict critical strikes, but people often saw critical strikes emerging out of normal wounds.
Thus, there had to be another principle behind it.
It was proper strength management.
A feeling that the future monkey had was a good first step towards it.
[-102 HP!]
"Ah, I failed… Then!" Michu's disappointment quickly faded away as he jumped back. His grasp eased, then his legs pushed him up to the sky.
Once he found himself above the bear, Michu raised his staff, then shouted, "BONK!"
His staff instantly exploded with wind currents. Everything around its tip turned heavy and Michu's whole body began to descend faster.
In the blink of an eye, the heavy blow fell onto the bear's head, its chin smashing down the ground.
Under Michu's bonk, the bear dug a little pond with his chin, then Michu unleashed more attacks with his staff.
He returned to try that 'feeling' and he managed to get one critical strike.
"Hehe, I did it! It feels easier the more I fight!" He happily exclaimed, then the duo continued their journey on the safe road.
Michu said, "How will we gather the noble's attention?"
"Think about it yourself," Venomous bluntly replied and our poor monkey closed his eyes, caressed his chin like a monkey god he had seen in the animation on the street before, then exclaimed, "My bonk seems powerful…"
"It's your banana, you idiot," Venomous exclaimed.
Any normal player would try to become closer with the nobles from the beginner cities or any popular NPCs like mages who could bring them closer to the magical academy. But even to become closer with them, one would need to become closer to their subordinates.
Talented people got noticed usually by martial artists and any newbie instructors.
"I don't want to share my banana with the noble," Michu said.
"You will just show them its stats." That was how they would get the noble's attention! But seeing Michu's expression, Venomous had to add something.
She said, "That's what your sister told me."
Michu's countenance changed immediately as if some witch put a magic spell on him! "That's fine then!" He innocently laughed and even made Venomous feel a little bad for lying like that.
