"Uhhuhu! I am Michu!" Michu finally introduced himself too, but Fabian couldn't ignore Venomous' presence even if there was such a goofy person behind her.
She didn't seem like a low-level player who just stumbled upon a lucky finding. In his eyes, he felt like he was about to deal with another royalty descendant and it pained his heart.
Just a few minutes ago, Fabian was sure he would scam these two and get information about this banana with a special stat.
However, those eyes were as if glazed with a scam detector, forcing Fabian to shift his plans.
He took a proper approach, "This is a treasure you would rather sell in the beginner city or any other major one. For you to come here, I assume you have a plan for it?"
"Without any plan, we would rather sell it for some quick money. Fortunately for us and you too, we have a way to grow this special banana," Venomous stated.
Her short words brought a lot of information to Fabian's mind.
He said, "You two need land." They had no backing, that was clear. Otherwise, they wouldn't be here at all. And for fruit, the land was just one of the necessary things.
Fabian added, "I can give you land." He took a map, pointed at the land that Michu and Venomous could develop, then left them a little confused.
He agreed too fast.
"It's not a big land, but I find it appropriate for your level. Even if you have skills to grow such a special fruit, then I refuse to believe you can match the top farmers in terms of land and quantity." Fabian ended his speech with these words.
A few seconds later, Venomous replied, "I have to agree with you here."
What this lord had said was correct, so Venomous didn't try to act all high and just agreed with him.
This land's size should be fine for Michu, especially that he didn't have any proper means to take care of it for now. It wouldn't be arable and he would need to use his unique skill to change it.
Level 25 was just a matter of a few days considering their leveling up speed, so Venomous wasn't worried about their progress.
She just had something else, a little more important, behind her head that she wanted to voice out, "Do you know what you are infamous for?"
"I know." How could he not? "I lost my wife to players and my hate is deep. I don't see a reason to hide it from you." Fabian glanced at the portrait of his beloved, "But the business we have built together is about to be taken away… Is that enough?"
"It is," Venomous replied, then glanced behind.
Her friend finally sat down next to her, then looked deeply at the noble before him.
The contrast between the green and brown eyes was the first he had ever seen in his life, so Fabian kept sitting in a stupor until Venomous called him out.
"Did you hear me?" She repeated. "Please, pass ownership to Michu."
"Ah, yes... Forgive me…" Awakened by the snake, Fabian turned his eyes to her and asked, "Are you sure?"
"I am."
It wasn't like the lady would pass all her plans to him.
After taking out a token from his desk, Fabian wrote Michu's name on it, then passed it to him. Once the token got grasped by Michu, a new message unfolded before his eyes.
[You have become the owner of the land.]
[You have gotten a title; peasant.]
"Your system should help you with everything," Fabian explained a little, then Michu used another system which was party sharing.
He shared the view with Venomous as she had been a great help here. Though Michu had been told before to not talk, he could tell that he wouldn't be able to keep his back straight and eyes on the noble without blinking at all.
He leaned down to Venomous and whispered into her ear, "How can you not even blink? Is it because you are a snake?"
"I tend to forget about it when I am focused," Venomous replied, not batting an eye to Michu's close contact.
On the other side, "You are pretty close. Haha, good luck." He stood up and directed his last words to Venomous with ambiguous meaning. With the attention on him, he also said, "I will give you a few soldiers to protect your new land. You need to have eyes on it 24/7, don't you?"
"That's generous of you," Venomous thanked, but Fabian wasn't done just yet.
"In the past, I got a lot of new people here from all over the continent. I think you can guess why. All of them had lost their close ones to the players and didn't want to have anything to do with them. Here, I just throw quests at players and keep them busy without meddling in my city's affairs."
"What you want to say is that those soldiers might just leave us?" Venomous asked.
Her worry was on the spot, "While I have to change for the sake of my family, those soldiers can leave just as easy as they had come here."
"It's okay. If we speak with them, we will be able to save them from hatred!" Michu chimed in and laughed in his usual, innocent way.
Both noble-like presences around him just smiled with anticipation for the next development.

[Do you want to change your land's name to 'Monkey God's Land!'?]
"Hehe! I want it, but I can't!" Michu stupidly giggled, then erased what he'd typed. He turned his eyes to Venomous and asked, "What will the name of your guild be?"
"I haven't thought about it yet. A name… is not important," Venomous indifferently replied.
She had already seen the land system and her mind was full of it. While the monkey focused on more fun things such as name and location, Venomous focused on the soldier list, the land's properties, and surroundings.
"I believe we should be able to level up to 25 here," Venomous finally began the most important talk, "But we won't be able to level up if we leave your land defenseless. Do you just want to talk with those soldiers?"
"Yeah! I feel like we just should talk without any underhanded methods!" Michu replied, then the duo arrived in their new land.
This land was close to the mountain which was one of two things this whole city had been named after.
In this mountain, Lord Fabian had his mines, but as per his words, those were also about to be taken away.
She wanted to scrutinize this matter, but her matters were the most important.
The land had nothing as it was just a small part of the forest given to Michu. Through their player system, Michu and Venomous could see how far they could do their stuff here.
This setting was just called a border and it could be turned off after proper walls would be built here.
While the world allowed players to have a lot of freedom and so they could build houses whenever they wanted, the ownership allowed players and NPCs to see on their minimap everything that happened on their land 24/7…
Additionally, the peasant could protect their land with various techniques that could be added through the land system.
"I will build a house in the middle, then create a banana paradise around me!" Michu said with a big smile on his face.
His pure desire elicited a sigh from Venomous. But a smile quickly followed after as she already expected that from him.
She then crossed her arms, "Looks like our soldiers are already here." A lady faded into the background after saying it as it was Michu's time to talk.
But it was hard for Venomous to blend with her white hair, snake eyes, and knitted eyebrows as those soldiers had been already cursing and complaining out loud.
