3 Chapter 2 : Xu Yún

Somewhere on Mount Yao, where the Xu family manor was located, you could see people moving back and forth in great haste. Presently in the family's main Hall, all the important figures were seated. Some were wearing anxious looks on their faces while some had Stern and rigid looks but none looked as amused as the man seated on the main seat as he took light sips from his tea.

" yunzao, your pacing is making me dizzy...have a seat, why can't you be like Tianchi? After all his wife is in labor as well but you don't see him so anxious! Besides Xiao Mei is the best Mid wife in all of chengdu ". The Man who had just spoken is Xu Yunzheng, he's the present Xu family head known for being strict , fueled by his ambition to eradicate evil!. He had many accomplishments tied to his belt right from his youth. Taking the Xu family black ink ruler technique to a whole new level at the time. Though he had a scholarly air around him as well easy going expression on his face it does not make him all that approachable because of his strict nature. Donned in a sky blue attire on his middle aged body, holding his tea cup as he advised yunzao. " don't worry, I'm sure we'll hear some good news soon" he says, taking another sip from his tea he motions for yunzao to sit with his eyes.

"Y...yes" yunzao bows courteously as he moved towards the chair beside Yunzheng, but no one noticed as an ominous glint flashed through his eyes. 'That's not what I'm anxious about' He thought as looks at his third brother, who in turn looks at him before nodding and returning to his inner thoughts.

'I don't know why I was worried, the Soul grasping poison is untraceable not to mention more than enough to kill the child in Jun zhenzhen's womb.' Smiling at his deed, as Only his child will be competing with Yunzheng's Son(Xu Dun).

Xu yunzao is the second brother of Xu Yunzheng, he was known as ghost hands in his youth. As During that time he was the Best swordsman in chengdu known for his fast sword movements, he was the only brother who didn't practice black ink ruler technique. but he succumbed to gluttony and Greed making his talent drop before his father's eyes(Xu Dao). It was due to this reason that he couldn't be the clan leader. Now he had added a lot of weight with his small eyes and big tummy making him look a bit comical. But no one dared laugh at him because even though his cultivation had declined, he was still a power house, a Bonafide infallible martial arts master not to be trifled with.

Suddenly there was multiple cries of babies making Tianchi jolt from his sit before running in that direction, causing laughter to resonate in the Main Hall. Clearly everyone could see the relieved smile on each others faces.

"Good Good good... Yunzao you don't have to so shocked! come let's go see My Nieces or Nephews" Yunzheng said between laughs as he Majestically stood up from his chair, waking his brother from his Daze.

"Y...yes" Yunzao Quickly stood as he replied with an awkward laugh. One would see him and think he was embarrassed by the ongoing event but in actual fact his mind was in chaos.

'This shouldn't be!! Why is his child still alive?! Why why why!!' He thought while picking up his pace producing a comical sight of a meatball rushing towards Jun zhenzhen's room and not he's wife's, but people were to preoccupied to make sense of his actions.

On getting there he found a pale faced Jun zhenzhen hugging a beautiful baby. It had jade like skin like its mother and small white hair on it's head, besides that it seemed perfectly fine. Instead the child actively looked at everyone in the room with intelligent eyes. Yunzao was shaken, even though he believed the child still couldn't see yet but it felt it could see his soul.

Tianchi kept laughing like a fool as he received congratulatory remarks from the elders and other clansmen.

"Third Lord, your son has your strong eyes, just by looking at him you could tell he would be a dragon among men" an elder flattered, using the opportunity to get in Tianchi's good graces.

"Haha Third brother, congratulations... Now that I have seen this scene I cannot wait to go check on Su ling, forgive second brother for leaving so abruptly" Yunzao quickly states as he walked out of the room without waiting for a reply making others smile wryly as they followed behind him, leaving just Tianchi and Zhenzhen in their own little world.

"Zhen er you've done well, hahaha..." Tianchi says while picking up the child from her arms. Lifting the child up and staring at him as the child stares back at him. "Husband, I guess you were right... So we're naming him Xu yún" Zhen er says with her face slightly paler than before in contrast to the bright smile she was wearing.

"Yes...yes yes" He responded rather absent mindedly as he was still smiling sheepishly.

"Ah You..." Zhen er was speechless and tried to come with a retort only to cough up black pungent blood as she grew even paler while gasping for breath. This drew Tianchi's attention as he shouted "ANYONE!!".

" My lord!" a skinny youth runs in immediately kneeling down.

"Quickly get me Xiao Mei!! Tell her its urgent! Go!" He shouts rather hysterically.

"Yes" the youth replied before dashing out once more. meanwhile Tianchi returned to Zhen er's side still holding the baby, trying to find what to say.

"H...husband it seems I can't hold on much longer, I've been trying to suppress it with my cultivation but I...its too late for me" she says staring into Tianchi's eyes."What?" Tianchi spat out, but zhenzhen said nothing. "I'm sorry...sorry... Sorry" this time she was talking to Her baby as tears flowed out of her eyes. Once more she vomited dark blood, losing strength in her arms. Her breath seeming more haggard as she still had more to say.

"b...careful...yun" speaking up to this point, she seemed to have breathed her last as her eyes became vacant, and her arms abruptly drops to the bed making Xu Tianchi scream "NOOOOO!!"Shaking the whole manor with Chi causing those with lower cultivation to shiver while some fainted directly. It was only this time Xiao Mei arrived, rushing towards Jun zhenzhen's corpse as Xu Tianchi glares at her before carrying the child out the room making Xiao Mei stiffen.

Quickly news of Jun zhenzhen's death circulated across the manor, making the formally joyous atmosphere turn into a gloomy one. At this time Tianchi had already arrived at his courtyard feeling Sad and dejected. He then lifted the child to face himself saying " Little one, father has disappointed you and the heavens... But I will make it up to you Xu yún". As if to acknowledge what he had said the child looks up to the sky making Xu Tianchi follow his gaze. The numerous clouds in the sky cleared away bringing the view of the rising Sun, etching this view into their minds. At this very moment. Two different people, child and man had different interpretations of this very scene but they both knew this was a new beginning as things will never be the same.
