Chapter 16 - MORE! ⚡MORE EXP!!

He takes a look at the bodies lying all around.

"What am I going to do with the guys now. If I leave them here, they'll still continue their job when they come around"

"I think the best option is to take them to a police station"

He finds rope with which he bounds all of them by their legs and arms. Then one by one, he transported them to the nearest police station. All this took a total of ten seconds. He rushes back to the warehouse.

(What could they be moving )he thought.

He walks up to the nearest box and opens it. He finds mechanical parts. Telsa materials, flame resistant materials, portable energy generators....,various types of parts were packed into the box.

"It's as if they know I'm building a suit" he said and smirked.

"Luck's really on my side this time."

He carefully sorts out all the materials he might need and put them in one box placed it on a table.

(I did not steal it, did I?. No. I just took some stuff that's all. I'm still a good guy)

He carried the box and sped out of the building headed straight to the STAR labs.

When Barry arrived, everyone suddenly looked in his direction.

"So how did it go?", Cisco quickly asked

"It went well. I managed to catch some Mafia goons in the middle of their operation and delivered them to the police station" Barry replied.

"So what's in the box you're holding? "Caitlin asked.

"Oh, this?..... It contains some of the materials needed for the suit Cisco is helping me with,"he replied.

"Really?.... You didn't have to go through the stress of finding it for me,"Cisco said.

Barry hands over the box to Cisco who received it with p.l.e.a.s.u.r.e. Then he turned to look at Caitlin.

"Cait, the device you tweaked for me worked excellently. Thanks a lot" he said.

"See I told you i could do it" she said and puffed out her c.h.e.s.t.

"Hmn" he nodded.

Suddenly he gripped his abdomen as pain surged through his body.

"Arrgh"

Caitlin and Cisco were alarmed as they looked in his direction, a look of concern on their faces.

"What is the problem Barry?" Caitlin asked as she tries to make out what was going on

"During...the battle... arrgh!....I got hit with frost gas blasted from a gun for a few seconds,"Barry said

"Wait, stay right here, I'll be back" she said and she went out of the room.

"You said your were blasted by a frost gun?",Cisco asked.

"Yeah" Barry replied

"We used to have a frost gun here in STAR labs,I designed it myself, but it suddenly went missing. I was thinking maybe there's just a slight chance that it could be that one. Did you take it along with you.",

"Yeah. It's at the bottom of the box."

When Cisco found the gun, he exclaimed, "It's actually the same exact one. Thanks dude"

Just then, Caitlin came back, holding a tray. On the tray was a syringe, cotton wool....

"This will neutralize the effect of the gas and reduce the pain",she said.

"Thanks Cait, I heard a restaurant just opened on 52nd Avenue. Wanna go eat dinner sometime?" Barry said.

"Y....Yes I'd love to "she said her cheeks flushed showing a hint of red.

"I'll have to go home now. I need to rest up" he said.

He put away his costume, had a little talk with Cisco, then left.

5:00AM

BARRY'S RESIDENCE....

*Blarr**Blarr**Blarr*. The incessant blaring of the alarm clock woke him up. He turned off the alarm and slowly crept out of bed and checked the time, 5:01am. He walks into the bathroom and splashes water on his face and dries it up.

"That was a new, yet exhilarating experience I got from that event"

Experience points :- 150,320 points

"150,320 points!, though it's much. It's nothing but a drop in the ocean of what I want. Guess I gotta do some more 'stuff' ".

Use 1,000,000 points to add any powers of your choosing.

–>Body Augments (locked)

(I can unlock super strength later, so, I don't really have to increase my strength or defence by a lot for now. But I guess I always end up tired during a mission)

"Use 90,000 points to increase stamina" he said

"That will be a +9 increase in stamina, proceed?"

"Proceed!"

"Use 40,000 points to increase strength"

"That will be a +4 increase in strength, proceed?"
