735 The Purple Bottle Gourd Appears Again

A formless faint white light enveloped Mo Wen's body like a layer of paper. It did not give off a sense of security.

At this moment, Mo Wen knew that this was his last attempt to try and save a hopeless situation. He could only choose to believe the Tower Spirit. After all, with his own power, it was absolutely impossible for him to block such an attack. He would probably be vaporized down to the tiniest atom in an instant.

The black and white dragon arrow came crashing down. An illusion of a divine dragon that was ten thousand meters long circled the sky. The dragon lowered its head, its pupils locked intently on Mo Wen. In an instant, the black and white dragon arrow crashed into Mo Wen's body.

Mo Wen steadied himself and closed his eyes. If he was going to die, so be it. Right now, he could not be bothered with anything anymore.

However, after a few breaths, he did not notice any changes. He slowly opened his eyes. He discovered that the black and white dragon arrow was floating less than two feet in front of him.

At such a close distance, Mo Wen could see exactly how the black and white dragon arrow looked. Upon closer inspection, he discovered that it was made up of black and white Ancestral Demon Sacred Spirits which were miniaturized several times over. The wings at the end of the arrow were the wings from the back of the Dragon Horse.

Right now, the black and white dragon arrow was floating in front of him, not moving at all. It seemed as though time had halted, stopping at that instant. The circle of faint white light still enveloped Mo Wen. It was not even flickering.

"How is it possible?" A dissatisfied voice sounded from inside the black and white dragon arrow. The voice was still gentle, but it contained unparalleled anger.

The black and white dragon arrow flashed and an illusion appeared before Mo Wen. It was the Dragon Horse that had transformed into human form. She looked at Mo Wen in disbelief, as though she had encountered a ghost. "How is it possible? How did you do it? It is impossible. Absolutely impossible…" The Dragon Horse looked at Mo Wen as her voice trailed off. She kept mumbling to herself. She never would have expected that the end result would be like this. She had burnt away her own life, her own body, and even her own bloodline and Ancestral Demon Sacred Spirit. She had burnt away everything, but in the end, the result was actually this.

"Thank heavens." Mo Wen slowly breathed a sigh of relief. The Disaster Avoiding Light had actually managed to block the Dragon Horse. It wasn't that he did not have confidence in the Tower Spirit, but the attack from the Dragon Horse just now had been so strong. He was not worried that the Tower Spirit could not save him, but he was worried that the Disaster Avoiding Light had a limit when it was set, and once it passed a certain limit, it would lose its effect. However, the Disaster Avoiding Light clearly did not have a limit. At least within the Fighting Spirit Tower, it did not have a limit.

"It called only be called fate. Not long ago, I obtained a Disaster Avoiding Light…" Mo Wen sighed. He also pitied the Dragon Horse. In reality, when this game of death began, it was unfair to everyone. After all, no matter how it ended, one side's life would be taken.

However, he could not back down in such a situation. In order to survive, if they could not defy the Tower Spirit, they could only follow its rules and continue forward.

"So that's what it is! So it planned everything all along. I heard that this Fighting Spirit Tower was built by ancient human immortal cultivators. As expected, it truly cares for you humans." The Dragon Horse smiled bleakly. There was an indescribable look in her eyes. Maybe since the very beginning, they were just the whetstones for humans.

The faint white light that enveloped Mo Wen trembled slightly. The terrifying black and white dragon arrow shattered inch by inch. The figure of the Dragon Horse also became dimmer and more ethereal.

Just as Mo Wen thought that everything had ended, a beam of purple light suddenly lit up from the endless void. The next moment, it traversed an immeasurable distance and crossed countless dimensions, appearing beside Mo Wen in an instant.

In the beam of purple light, there was a small, intricate bottle gourd. It was the Purple Bottle Gourd that had inexplicably disappeared before.

Once the Purple Bottle Gourd appeared, it leaped onto Mo Wen's shoulder. It rubbed its outer shell intimately against his face. Mo Wen was speechless. This thing had actually returned on its own again. Could it be that it was truly attached to him? Also, what was this thing exactly? It actually could move around freely and unhindered in the Fighting Spirit Tower.

After affectionately caressing Mo Wen for a while, the Purple Bottle Gourd suddenly stopped, seemingly discovering the black and white dragon arrow and Dragon Horse's illusion that were gradually disappearing. It flew over to investigate and appeared above the black and white dragon arrow. It stopped for a moment and then suddenly shot out a beam of purple Qi. Purple Qi poured down, enveloping Mo Wen and the Dragon Horse's illusion within it, including the black and white dragon arrow.

However, the Purple Bottle Gourd had just enveloped the two of them when another beam of white light descended from the sky. Everywhere the white light passed, everything calmed down. The tsunamis stopped, the dark clouds dispersed and the thunder and lightning ceased. Sunlight broke through the cloud layer, pouring down on the land below.

Mo Wen and the Purple Bottle Gourd, including the Dragon Horse's illusion, instantly disappeared from their original spots. It seemed as though they had never appeared there.

Everything had happened too quickly and too suddenly. From the Purple Bottle Gourd appearing to white light descending from the sky, everything had happened in an instant.

When everything had ended, none of the human ancient martial art practitioners below managed to react.

After another fifteen minutes, everyone discovered that the world had become calm and the day was sunny and breezy. It seemed as though everything had ended.

"What's happening? Where is Mo Wen? Where did he go?"

"Could it be that he died already?"

"What about the Dragon Horse? The terrifying Dragon Horse has also disappeared. Could they have perished together?"

"It does not seem like it. In the end, it seemed as though Mo Wen won. Could it be that something else is at play?"

"What was the purple bottle gourd that appeared at the end? It appeared out of the blue. So strange…"

After it was calm for a while, the human ancient martial art practitioners in the Four Guardians Light Shroud suddenly broke out into discussion. Just now, everything happened too suddenly and too bizarrely.

Also, everyone was still in a daze. They did not know what the end result was at all.

For most people, they were most concerned with what had happened in the end. Did Mo Wen defeat the Dragon Horse? Did they pass the final challenge? Could they make it out of the Fighting Spirit Tower alive? These were the most crucial questions.

"What… just happened?"

Nangong Mingzhu had a hesitant look. She also did not know what had transpired at the very end. However, from the look of things, aside from the fact that no one knew whether Mo Wen was alive or dead and where the Dragon Horse had gone, they seemed to no longer be in any sort of danger.

Just as the human ancient martial art practitioners were discussing, the Four Guardians Light Shroud gradually dissipated. The four stratagem flags that remained stuck in the ground suddenly shattered and then dissipated bit by bit. Losing their protection, everyone was exposed in the air. Without the stratagem, a few people who did not manage to react in time directly dropped down to the ocean below. Luckily, the people here did not have low cultivation. All of them could fly in mid-air.

"Huh, that's not right. My Ten Thousand Soul Banner. Where did my Ten Thousand Soul Banner go?"

Chu Yuan was originally still delighted at the possibility that Mo Wen and the Dragon Horse had perished together. But then, he suddenly remembered something, something very serious.
