Chapter 1045 - Five Grades of Sacred Treasures

The Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield had a long history. On top of being mysterious, it housed a lot of treasures that even cultivators from big worlds such as the Devil Kingdom, the Underworld, and the Demon Realm would scramble for, let alone cultivators from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm.

Of course, only the Tide Changing Realm cultivators could enter. The Sorcerer Clan would not allow cultivators who were too strong into the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield.

“Can cultivators from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm enter the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield as well?” Mo Wen looked to Mo Qingtian.

“The Peng Lai Immortal Realm is a little special, and it will be included because it’s a source world. However, they won’t let just any ordinary person into the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield. They must first have a letter of recommendation and then pass the Sorcerer Clan’s test before they can go in.

“But the Huatian Palace owns more than 60% of the recommendation rights. So, if you really do want to go to the place, getting that right is not going to be easy,” Mo Qingtian said with a smile.

The whole source world was controlled by the Huatian Palace, so their power was obviously immense.

“And the remaining 40%?” Mo Wen asked curiously.

“The remaining 40% of the recommendation rights are held by the three great heretic forces—Demonic Sky, Hades Mountain, and Demon Native. Of course, the two Middle Age sects in the Peng Lai Immortal Realm hold some too, but their recommendation rights are only enough for their own sects, so they won’t casually give them to outsiders.”

In the entire Peng Lai Immortal Realm, the ones with influence were the Huatian Palace and the three great heretic forces. The two middle age sects, though also influential, paled in comparison to colossal entities like the Huatian Palace.

“So what you’re saying is that, when the time comes, the three great heretic forces—Demonic Sky, Hades Mountain, and Demon Native—will also enter the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield,” Mo Wen said in shock.

“Yes. Generally, the most outstanding of their lots will enter the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield.”

Mo Qingtian nodded, then continued speaking, “Also, some sects in the Peng Lai Immortal Realm will have that chance as well. They include the Sinister Wind Sect and the Petrification Cult, for example. Both of which bear a grudge against you.”

The Huatian Palace had to give out some of the recommendation rights they received since they could not reserve all of them for personal use. After competing, the regular sects from the Peng Lai Immortal Realm would also have a chance to enter the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield.

“Must I really wait 10 years?” Mo Wen’s eyes reflected some worry.

Ten years? God knew what would happen to Yun Xiaoman in 10 years, and the Yun family was looking forward to news about her.

“You’ll only have a chance after 10 years. The Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield is not a place you can just barge into as you wish—not even a Heavenly Path Sage is capable of that. Yun Xiaoman’s in the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield now so there’s no way you can rescue her from that place, but don’t worry. In these 10 years, the Moon Maiden candidates will be safe, and the Magical Realm will give their all when nurturing them,” Mo Qingtian remarked calmly.

Some of the Moon Maiden candidates heading to the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield had rather low cultivations, and some of them had barely started cultivating, so it was only natural that they could not have Tide Changing Realm cultivators from other worlds go up against these girls. They could only allow the Tide Changing Realm cultivators from the other worlds to fight against the Moon Maiden candidates after the girls had undergone 10 years of nurturing, which would have permitted them a speedy growth.

Nurturing the Moon Maiden was extremely important to the Sorcerer Clan. Perhaps other sects might not invest this much into nurturing their juniors. After all, nurturing a Moon Maiden candidate such that they would be on par with Tide Changing Realm cultivators required too many resources. However, the Moon Maiden of the Sorcerer Clan was extremely important, so there was no price they would not pay.

“Alright, I’ll head to the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield after 10 years,” Mo Wen said after thinking about it.

“Hm, since that’s the case, let me help you reserve a slot,” Mo Qingtian remarked mildly. Ten years was not a long time for a cultivator. It was basically a snap of the fingers to a high-level one.

“Reserve two slots.” A voice suddenly rang out, shortly followed by an enchanting figure that appeared at the gate of the main hall.

“What are you butting in for, Gu Jingman?” Mo Wen asked, speechless. The main point of him going to the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield was to save Yun Xiaoman.

“What do you mean butting in? Since the Ancestral Sorcerer Battlefield is attractive enough to have cultivators from the different worlds scrambling to get in, it must have a lot of benefits. As a cultivator, there’s no way I can pass up an opportunity like this.”

Gu Jingman huffed lightly. So, you could go, but I could not go?

Mo Wen looked towards Mo Qingtian.

“Reserving two slots is fine,” Mo Qingtian said with a laugh.

After a bout of idle chatter, Mo Qingtian got up to leave. Right before she left, she suddenly remembered something, and she turned to Mo Wen to say, “Don’t be careless just because Nie Wuxin’s in the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension now. Those sects might not dare to come over anymore, but they will definitely find ways to kill you off if you appear elsewhere, especially in the Peng Lai Immortal Realm. It’s best if you don’t head there for the time being.”

She floated off after she finished speaking.

“What are you afraid of? Once I break through to the Supreme Profundity Realm, I’ll destroy every single one of the sects that dare bully you.” Gu Jingman patted her chest, looking every bit like an older sister assuring him that she would take care of him.

Mo Wen could not be bothered with her—only God knew how long it would take for her to break through to the Supreme Profundity Realm. The Supreme Profundity Realm was not the Tide Changing Realm; as a watershed on the Path of Immortal Cultivation, it was not that easy to break through to. Old Man Xuan You alone had been able to push them to the edge. That went to show how powerful the realm was.

Besides, even if Gu Jingman were to break through to the Supreme Profundity Realm, it did not necessarily mean she could afford to look down on those sects. After all, Old Man Xuan You had barely been much of a problem at all, and they had far more terrifying foes.

Mo Wen did not need Mo Qingtian’s reminder—he would do well to steer clear of the Peng Lai Immortal Realm.

Mo Wen was prepared to properly cultivate in the Green Ancient Mystery Dimension for the next 10 years and allow his cultivation to break through to the Tide Changing Realm.

All the people entering the Ancestral Sorcery Battlefield were Tide Changing Realm cultivators who hailed from different worlds, and there would be a few vicious ones in the lot, so Mo Wen would be struggling quite a bit in there if he did not raise his cultivation.

After he dealt with some day-to-day affairs, he stepped into the Junior Master’s Pagoda.

It was worth mentioning that Mo Wen had visited the Huo Clan in the capital. Qin Xiaoyou’s mother had gotten married to the Huo Clan leader and both of them had led good lives. As for the issue regarding Qin Xiaoyou, Mo Wen had discussed it with them during the visit. The strange thing was that her mother was not worried and mentioned that Qin Xiaoyou had sent a letter home every year.

If she could write home, then why was she not sending him any letters? Mo Wen was a little gloomy, and he did not know what Qin Xiaoyou was planning with her mother either.

The Junior Master’s Pagoda was a sacred place for cultivating and there was a grotto inside. If cultivators of any realm cultivated inside, they yielded twice as much with half the effort.

But not just anybody had the right to cultivate inside the Junior Master’s Pagoda, and Mo Wen did not want that secret getting out.

This was because the Junior Master’s Pagoda was a Mystic Heaven Sacred Treasure, and it was no ordinary Mystic Heaven Sacred Treasure because the greatest value was not in the pagoda itself but in the cultivation grotto within it.

Sacred treasures were the most valuable treasures behind immortal treasures. To the average immortal cultivator, sacred treasures were treasures of the highest grade. As for immortal treasures, those were only items high-level immortals could create and were few and far between during the Primeval Age.

Sacred treasures were split into five grades, namely: Hundred Spirit Sacred Treasure, Thousand Spirit Sacred Treasure, Heaven and Earth Sacred Treasure, Heavenly Sacred Treasure, and Mystic Heaven Sacred Treasure.
