It's been four days since that night with the heroine, which changed my life in a complete U.

The time when she came to talk to me specifically and was reluctant to let go, I was sure I did some mistake in my performance.

But when she started confessing why she took an interest in me, I became speechless.

She didn't only see flaws in my act on the ball night but the main heroine, who had so many vital roles in the story, was actually keeping an eye on me since long enough to know my behaviors and fake words.

I was baffled and shook down the core.

From what I have read in manga, the main heroine was the most famous among the audience because of her cold and aloof personality which seemed completely shatter around me.

I was confused, beyond belief.

And not only that night. She even started meddling in my business more often after that.

Greeting me sweetly in the morning, joining me in battles, helping me in classes, and many other small interactions which I wasn't used to or wanted to happen.

I tried every kind of mockery and taunts in the start but looking at her unwavered determination, I soon accepted my defeat.

But backing down from separating myself from heroin was due to another reason too.

From the manga and what I have observed in this half year, I was sure that the protagonist, Hero Kyouki was in love with Luna.

I wasn't sure about the other harem member as he always seemed dense around them, but I have seen the gaze he directs at Luna.

I wasn't an expert in love matters but aligning the manga plot and the real Kyouki's partial treatment of the saint, it wasn't tough to conclude.

That was the reason why I wasn't resisting Luna as much in my whole capability.

I knew if heroin was to grow close to me, the hero would somehow confront me and that would be my high point to play the villain and provoke him, so I could gain the points.

I know using Luna for this wasn't something I would have usually preferred but at the end of the day, she was the heroine who was destined to be united with the hero.

Even if I don't use her and let things flow as they should have, nothing would change except for the fact that I would not get the chance to gain points.

So I grabbed the opportunity in the hope to clear the weekly requirement before Wednesday.

But...

[Weekly Requirement: 180/1200 VP]

[Time left:- 50h.12m. 26s]

I was doomed.

I only had two days to gain more than a thousand points, which I was never able to do in the past.

I never had missed the weekly hunt that's why I was unaware of failure, but I didn't dare to let it happen.

All this time I just wished her to get back on her feet and smile like she always did.

If my mistake could take the chance of her revival, then I wasn't sure what I would do to myself.

I was leniently letting things happen how they shouldn't have and before I know it, that confrontation with the hero never happened.

Since I was getting paired with Luna but not any harem member or Nobel personality, my points from sparring were also consumed by the presence of the saint around me.

'Fuck... this'd going to be hectic...'

Luckily I still had a chance to gain the remaining point in one go if things happen as I desire them to.

A one-day exploration of the Great Eastern Jungle would happen in which students have to pair with their party members.

I was sure Luna would ask me, which I would eventually accept.

And after that, I would start my plot for the perfect villain scenario.

The plan which immediately formed in my mind was whether directly or not would lead Hero's sword in my direction and it would be the best point booster I need.

I know after what I was planning to do, Luna would not see me in the same light again. Or to say, she would probably hate me in the end, but that would be okay for me.

Well, it would be a lie to say that I won't feel a little lonely without her being around me and such, but at the end of the day, I was nothing more than a minor villain after all, who was destined to be forgotten.

'Yes, it would be for the best for all...'

[Lilia's POV]

'It's strange...'

Making my way inside the base that Kyouki-kun have formed for the general team meeting, I thought of the sudden summoning notice.

Kyouki-kun often used this room for discussion for the future prospectus and how we would participate in lairs and such but at this hour of the night, it felt a little out of place.

Well, since it was Kyouki-kun I knew he wouldn't do anything to me and I was also not ready for it yet, and after seeing the other party members entering the room as well, my little bit of suspicion also vanished.

"Good evening, Lilia-san."

"Good evening Charlotte."

Greeted me with a sweet smile was my friend and comrade in battles, Charlotte Spencer, daughter of Baron Philiard Spencer.

She's a great mage in our team and also a rival I share in a battleground and in romance battles too.

"Oh hey, guys. I hope I am not late~"

The one who excitedly swung inside the room was Venessa Charles, daughter of the knight commander Sir Laviski Charles.

She's a high-spirited girl who generally doesn't get disheartened because of anything. Drawing out any real emotion from her from under her natural facade was only possible for Kyouki-kun.

In the team, she works as the shield of Kyouki-kun which generally makes me envy her being so close to him, but apart from that, I like her.

"Ohayooo*

The one who just yawned while greeting lazily was Sicily Seymour, daughter of Duke Reynold Seymour.

She's the most prominent figure in our team from a political point of view and even in battle evaluation, she holds the most importance after Kyouki-kun.

The versatile nature of hers which she uses in combat by providing any kind of support in need makes her the most dependable comrade and most lovable friend of mine.

Apart from Kyouki-kun, she generally doesn't seem to pay attention to anything or anyone, which we also have become accustomed to.

After we all were seated and were conversing casually, another person entered the room which made my heart flutter in an instant.

Sensing the silence around the room I was sure that every other girl also have been similarly looking at him.

Entered inside was the man I have found my 'first' love in, Kyouki-kun.

(A/N:- I will upload character design in an auxiliary chapter)

"It seems everyone is here."

Smiling sweetly he walked toward the head seat of the table before sitting down gracefully.

But upon hearing his remark my brows frowned slightly.

"Kyouki-kun...what about Luna-san?"

Expecting the healer and the vice-commander in our team to be present during the team meeting was the most general concern. And looking at others I was sure, I wasn't alone in thinking about it.

"Yeah, she should have arrived first from what I have seen so far."

Luna-san was the most diligent toward her duty and was very conscious about what people expected from her, so her absence did make things look startling.

Well, her recent 'actions' which were involved with a 'certain someone' did seem out of place but still neglecting her duty as a guardian wasn't something I expected from her.

All of our eyes were focused on Kyouki-kun who unlike usual didn't have a great expression right now.

"It's about her for which I called this meeting."

His serious expression made us straighten our backs also, as we knew our captain always becomes like this whenever the matter was something which required utmost concern.

Sighing Kyouki-kun leaned back which signified how tense he was about the thing he was going to say.

"It seems Luna has been cursed".

My eyes went wide instantly as I heard him clearly yet my senses weren't able to believe it at all.

"Cursed!? Are you sure about it Kyouki-kun, that it's related to that?"

It was Sicily-san who unlike usual, raised her voice.

Well, it wasnt her exaggerating the matter, more like she was expressing her thoughts most naturally.

Curse magic wasn't something that we were even allowed to talk about inside the campus and here Kyouki-kun presented that someone was under influence of it?

I was too shocked to even speak anything so I just chose to listen for now...

"Yes, I have verified it in these four days when Luna was straying from her usual self. Being involved in things she generally thinks waste of time and expressing her thoughts in a way that I never saw her in. If not for curse magic I don't think there is any other spell that could manipulate a Divinity-ranked Saint to such extent ".

Certainly, her recent behavior has thrown not only us but the entire school into a state of complete shock

The way she expresses her feelings reacts to remarks of a single person's words, and the way she smiles all the time when she stays with that person, never happened when she was with Kyouki-kun.

Her change of romantic preference was the best base to provide support to Kyouki-kun's evaluation for her.

"I trust you Kyo-kun with all my heart."

It was Sicily-san who got up and started her trust in Kyouki-kun.

"Sicily..."

Kyouki-kun smiled sweetly toward the determined Sicily-san making the latter blush excessively before I heard another announcement.

"I never lost faith in you, to begin with, so count me in too."

"Yes, Kyouki-sama I also trust your words."

"It's the same for me too, Kyouki-kun. I also believe in you."

Finishing my words I smiled at the emotional Kyouki-kun who was looking at us with a grateful smile making my heart race all of a sudden.

"Guys you..no, first of all, thank you for believing in me."

It was strange how this person without even noticing gives me butterflies even with his single glance.

Seeing how he generously behaves with us even though he has so many responsibilities, makes me sure that what I did during the ball wasn't regretful.

More like I am thankful to that man that his actions helped me to meet this great person whom I love the most in the world.

'At least you did something good for once...'

Sighing inwardly I sat down just like others when Charlotte-san brought up another matter related to the previous one.

"Anno... If Luna-san is cursed then who is the sorcerer?"

My mind went blank for a second as it wasn't hard to realize the answer to her question and it seemed, unlike Charlotte everyone knew the answer as they opened their eyes wide.

"Ky-Kyouki-kun...i-is it him..."

My shaky voice reached him somehow as I asked in a little disbelief and expectancy for a negative answer but it seems 'that man' was just made for every single evil deed in the world.

"It's Austin Wright who has conjured Luna."

A/N:- Uh drama will surely commence.

Um...I wanna clarify something.

The MC would be like this, I mean being punched by others and pushed around with emotional breakdowns for some initial chapters before I will make a path for char development.

And do remember he won't turn hero just because the heroine would be his side. More like he would become what it actually means to be a villain.

Anyway, if you have time then check my profile wall and drop a comment too~
