"Saint-sama? A-are you sure-".

Rachael tried to pursue Luna from participating in the spar with Venessa considering Luna's attribute, which was mainly focused on healing.

But he was abruptly interrupted by the platinum-haired beautiful girl, who had a blank expression adorning her moon-white face.

"I think being restrained wasn't something I was told by the Second Prince. Or should I reconsider my participation in this whole mess?"

Devoid of any kind of emotions blended in her tone, Luna voiced her thoughts which made the listeners slightly shiver in a fret.

Even Austin gulped upon hearing her current voice, which clearly told her inner emotions.

The receiver of such words felt tremors running down his spine as he heard the voice of the person he had never thought of being so scary.

'Aren't all healers jolly by nature?'

Questioning his past knowledge, Rachael didn't say anything else before Luna walked towards the arena where the red-headed warrior stood, looking at the scene with a complicated expression.

The expression on Kyouki's face was in between being troubled and hesitant, which didn't go unnoticed by Sicily just beside him.

Lilia also had a troubled expression adorning her usually calm face, as she didn't want to see her two friends sparring for some reason.

And as for Austin...

'I hope she just doesn't kill her....'

He was the only one who was aware of Luna's absurd might, which made the blond youth worried about the possible conclusion of the battle.

"I hope you aren't doing this because of the baseless engagement my father forced upon us..."

Vanessa muttered under her breath as from what she sensed from the conversation they had two days ago; Luna was clearly affected by the meaningless betrothal.

"Well, won't you find it yourself, why I came to destro-oops! To spar with my dearest friend?"

A thick vein bulged on Venessa's forehead as she clearly took the provocation before she readied the spear that she obtained from the capital treasury.

Swirling it masterfully on her hands, a golden hue spread around Venessa before she pointed the tip of the spear towards her opponent before she called for the commencement.

"Come at me with your strongest."

Luna smirked slightly before she manifested a thin sword made of crystalline ice in each hand.

The figure of Luna, who was currently wearing the black battle suit with her alluring hair tied in a ponytail as she held the ice sword just like her clear blue eyes, made her look nothing less than a battle goddess descended upon the lower lands.

Various from the crowd, regardless of gender, felt their heart skipping a beat as they saw the current Luna, who, unlike her calm self, looked more domineeringly charming.

With a confident smirk on her face, Luna disappeared from her site like a gust which made those below Unique Rank astonished and unable to track Luna's movement.

**CLANG**

The sound of metal colliding with some similar material, resonated heavily as Luna appeared in mid-air just behind Venessa's back.

The heavy staff of the spear, which Venessa brought on her back without turning, trembled as she blocked Luna's ice sword, putting unexpected pressure on the amber-haired warrior's arm.

"Not so fast, girl."

Luna instantly backed away as she felt Venessa charging at her with the momentum.

Vanessa's spear slashed through the air as a massive gust of dust erupted right beneath the place she swung her weapon.

"Woah..."

Vanessa enjoyed the sensation she felt from her weapon responding and synchronizing with her expectancy even though she had been wielding it for the first time.

Clutching the neck of the spear, a dangerous grin formed across Venessa's face as she launched herself toward Luna, who was standing solemnly at her place.

**SWISSH**

With her body darting at a far higher pace than Luna primarily moved, Venessa launched her whole body with her spear at the front toward her opponent.

'Huh...?'

Just as Venessa's spearhead was about to come in contact with Luna's right arm, which indeed would have impaled the receiver, Venessa's vision blurred as a cloud of snow emerged from nowhere.

Before she could have realized it, Luna had already moved from her place using the illusion before she appeared right beside Vannesa as she kicked the warrior right at the base of her abdomen.

"GAH!!"

The impact was heavier than one could expect from such a delicate-looking saint as Venessa flew to a distance of more than thirty meters before she dropped to the ground.

"Ohh!"

Someone from the audience gasped as they saw the fighting prowess of Luna, who, despite being a healer mage, was able to draw hand-to-hand combat so skillfully.

The most shocked was Kyouki at the moment. He has spent almost half a year with Luna and always paid his utmost attention to her. But never did he expect that the Healer he always thought of working as a supporter and the woman he always thought of protecting was actually this strong.

Venessa, on the other hand, being humiliated to this level, became serious for the spar, as using her spear as a support, she pushed her body up.

"Don't regret this, Luna."

With a heavy tone, Venessa muttered with a slightly unsteady breath before relaunching toward Luna with her utmost speed, reaching up to the other side in less than two blinks.

**CLING**

**CLANG**

The exchange between the two women initiated with the sound of heavy material colliding and releasing spark across the arena.

The figures of the two warriors disappeared from the site before appearing at different corners, all while exchanging their unwavering blows, which seemed to be in complete sync.

Neither Venessa was pushed back, nor Luna, but the damage from the exchange was getting inflicted on both.

The audience was so mesmerized by such a sight that they weren't daring to blink in order not to miss even a single moment of such a captivating battle.

**TNNNG**

With a heavy glass-breaking sound, the two warriors separated from each other as they slid apart for some distance.

The condition of either one was not the same as they initially were. Both women were panting slightly with their porcelain faces, dyed in crimson due to the excessive blood flow across their bodies.

Venessa's armor was slightly scratched at some points, but other than that, she was completely fine with her weapon, still steadily waiting to exchange another hefty round.

But on the other side, Luna had an evident injury across her right cheek as crimson blood dripped down from the slash like an unstoppable stream. Her armor wasn't significantly damaged, but the wound on her face stated clearly how the first round went for her.

But looking at her indifferent expression, it seemed she was not bothered by such things at all as she readied her still shining ice sword in Venessa's direction.

But before the two could have engaged in battle again, a heavy and authoritative voice resonated in the hall.

"Luna."

Naturally, every gaze was snatched from the arena toward the voice as Luna also turned her head toward the person she only turns to.

Standing there was the handsome blond teen with his eyes exposing something that Luna was only able to understand. For others, he was just looking at the Saint with a straight gaze, nothing peculiar.

Luna, upon receiving the words of her beloved, pouted slightly before she turned away, but not being able to ignore his gaze, she finally gave in.

"Fine. "

Grumbling, the injury on Luna's cheek soon got covered in a greenish hue before the wound completely disappeared from existence.

While at it, Luna also disintegrated her twin ice sword, naturally attracting her opponent as she asked with her brows raised.

"Already done? I thought I could play for some more time."

There was complete amusement on Venessa's face as she directed her own provocative words toward her opponent.

But little did the warrior imagine that Luna would not pay single heed to her provocations before she would feel the chills of her life.

Luna strengthened her body with mana and disappeared from her site at a pace that was equivalent to Austin's before she crossed more than 50 meters in less than a second and stood with her body slightly stretched forward, just before Venessa.

With her five fingers connected to Venessa's chest, Luna muttered under her breath before concluding the match.

"This isn't the end."

**BOOOOOOMM*

Like the enormous air cannon blasting in a silent war field, the place where Venessa was standing a moment ago was now occupied by Luna as the prior was thrown out of the battlefield with just a single push of Luna!

The people who were able to see Venessa blasting away were only two, in which one of them instantly left his place to stop Venessa before she crashed into the gym wall.

**DHAAAAKKKK**

Rachael was somehow able to catch Venessa's body which was flying like a broken kite in the air at a furious pace.

The force was so extreme that even Rachael was pushed back for several meters in mid-air before he finally halted his and Venessa's momentum.

With every eye becoming wide at the unexpected and beyond belief spectacle, there was only a single person who was shaking his head in defeat as he saw his lover returning from the arena like nothing sort of mentioning happened.

'I hope Charles just doesn't land again for a battle.....'
