Chapter 82
“…Are you kidding me right now?”
“Do you think this is a joke?”
Dustin argued back. At this point, he was counter-arguing her. Andra was stunned and could not speak. Had he really gone crazy? She looked around again and twisted away from him to free her left arm, Dustin had caught.
“Fine, let’s talk about this. But did you forget that we’re outside? When people see you and I doing this—”
“Don’t change the subject. Do you really think I can’t?”
Before Andra’s words could finish, Dustin asked the question again, arguing. Andra eventually faced him and burst into rage.
“What in the world are you doing!”
Stop talking nonsense and let go of my hand! Andra waved her arm that was caught. As it continued, she was contemplating whether or not to use magic. She had to be careful about using magic in a public place such as this. Of course, it would soon be known that she was an Awakened, but until then she wants to live a quiet life.
‘Anyone would think it’d be strange for an Awakened like Dustin Airak to be pushed away by me, who is known as an ordinary person.’
Still, she contemplated whether she really should use magic, but then Dustin suddenly called her name in a low voice.
“Andra Avellin.”
Dustin took a step closer to Andra. His momentum was somehow vicious, and Andra unknowingly retreated back. Thanks to this, the distance between the two was not narrowed.
“If you’re going to do something weird, you better be prepared. I’m not going to stand still—”
“Let’s go now.”
“…What?”
“Let’s go together—now. Or we can just call the jeweler over here.”
Andra’s face gradually contorted at Dustin’s words. What the hell does he want? Was he really going to buy her ten rings to make it up to her?
It was getting harder and harder to listen to him. What an absurd statement. He broke the ring on purpose, but now he was trying to buy more for her again? It’s not like he needed to show off his money towards an Avellin, who was a rich family from the East.
Andra asked, narrowing her brow.
“What do you mean jeweler! Do you think I’m doing this because I really need a ring? I don’t need that!”
Even if Dustin had bought her a ring in the first place, just think about it with common sense. She would not at all have been happy with it anyway. A ring. From that Dustin? It’s atrocious just thinking about it. What was he thinking, buying her a ring?
“Something like that?”
“Then you mean I have to like the ring that you’re going to buy for me?”
Andra gave a blunt reply that made Dustin shut his mouth. Instead, he unknowingly strengthened his grip over Andra’s wrist, which he was still holding. Andra frowned at the tighter grip.
“What’s wrong with you? Did you finally go crazy?”
“…You’re the one making me crazy.”
“What the hell? So if you go crazy, it’s my fault?”
“Are you asking because you really don’t know?”
Seeing how Dustin was shifting the blame on her, Andra thought that she would have to get out of here, even if she had to use magic to help herself. Otherwise, it seemed like this would just continue over and over again—Dustin would impose his strange demands on her while saying things she couldn’t understand.
‘Since long ago, I have never dealt with crazy people.’
She was about to use magic to push Dustin down.
But just before that, she felt several gazes looking this way. After looking at Dustin for a moment, people were flocking to them and watching them.
Andra immediately gave up on using magic. Just by her and Dustin fighting, exciting rumors would probably be circulating within the academy, so there’s no way she’s going to add more oil to the fire here.
“Dustin Airak, let’s go back and talk. Don’t you have any wits about you? People started flocking because of you.”
Let go of me. Andra warned him to remove his hold on her wrist. But Dustin didn’t want to let her go, so he just pulled her wrist towards him. In the process, a small quarrel occurred between the two of them.
Andra rebelled against him, yet Dustin ignored it and continued to pull her closer. People started buzzing when they saw them.
“Wow… Avellin and Airak are finally starting to fight physically.”
“Who is the spear and who is the shield? Who do you think will win this time?”
“Of course, Airak. He’s an Awakened in the first place.”
“Look at the two’s war of nerves. No kidding. They’re real enemies.”
“Will this commotion? Someone please stop them.”
“Aren’t we supposed to call the professor?”
“You idiot, why are you going to call the professor? Don’t you want to watch the undergraduates fight each other?”
“It’s Airak and Avellin. Don’t just call a professor—go straight to the chairman of the board to stop them.”
Several people also started lining the building windows, clamoring to watch Andra and Dustin. For that reason, as time passed, it was Andra who started to get feverish inside.
She looked at Dustin, who seemed to be glaring at her, but seemed to be grumpy like a wounded beast. What the hell was going on in his mind that he’s doing this? Despite being quite close to Dustin these days, Andra seriously couldn’t understand him.
“If you don’t want to break my wrist, please let it go, Lord.”
Being aware of the public’s gaze, Andra warned Dustin once again with respectful words that she had never used after such a long time. Then she mouthed in a whisper that only he could hear, that if he didn’t let it go quickly, he would regret it. Then Dustin gently called out Andra’s name.
“Andra.”
Him calling her like that made it seem like they were close. It was never the way a lifelong enemy would call his rival.
Andra’s face flushed embarrassment at the call of her name. Is he crazy? Why is he calling my name affectionately here? Andra hurriedly looked around. Did people hear? It would be good if there were no strange misunderstandings.
“Andra, don’t look away from me.”
Dustin’s strange behavior didn’t stop there. He made another meaningful remark. However, Andra’s expression only grew more and more dark. But immediately, she schooled her features and spoke, pretending to be calm.
“There are different ways to… mess with me. Right, I don’t know what you want to say, but let’s hear it. Still, we have to go.”
Unless you mean to treat me like a circus freak.
At Andra’s harsh tone, Dustin then looked around for a moment. Quite a few people were looking at them with interest. He was so focused on Andra that he had no time to look around. Dustin thought for a moment, then nodded his head.
“Follow me.”
Dustin dragged Andra into a building. Andra followed Dustin dragged halfway. Finding a moderately empty break room, he brought Andra into it first and then locked the door.
As soon as Andra entered the room, she cast a spell to keep the sound from leaking out. She then yelled at Dustin who followed her into the break room.
“Dustin Airak, are you really crazy?! What were you thinking in front of people—ah!”
Dustin suddenly walked up to Andra and bit her neck. Andra managed to prevent herself from falling by placing her hand on the table, as the weight suddenly shifted and she was pushed back.
“What are you doing…!”
“If you don’t want a ring, then s*x.”
What is this now? Andra couldn’t figure out why he’s being like this all of a sudden, S*x was being mentioned here. She can’t quite relate to Dustin’s way of thinking. Ring and s*x. What’s the relationship between the two! Andra’s nagging words went back through her throat as Dustin licked her ear along the nape of her neck.
“You like my body. The service I provide.”
“Then, why here, nngh!”
His large hands slid through her top and popped inside. The cold touch made goosebumps rise up over her skin, and her body began to tense up. Before long, Dustin rubbed Andra’s plump chest. Her chest, which filled into the palm of his hand, was unceremoniously groped by his hand. Andra couldn’t stand the pain of his grip and struggled.
“Ah… You crazy prick! Stop it!”
“Even if you don’t like me, didn’t you like the s*x you have with me?”
“What are you saying now! Stop rubbi— mmh!”
He rubbed her nipples with his fingertips like scratching it. Immediately, the nipples swelled and hardened. Andra trembled at the unexpected stimulation.
Dustin rolled up her top, exposing Andra’s chest to the outside. He bit her other chest with his teeth. Because of the strength, Andra clenched one hand into a fist and slammed it on Dustin’s chest.
“It hurts! Stop it!”
Dustin quickly removed his mouth from her chest as she complained of pain. However, Andra’s chest, which he had attacked once, was mottled with red marks. Without missing a beat, Andra picked up any of the objects on the table and slammed Dustin’s head hard.
“You crazy bastard!”
Dustin, beaten by Andra, was pushed back. There was a small cut on his forehead, and so blood gushed out. He rubbed the flowing blood with his fingertips.
Of course, Andra did not feel sorry at all when she saw it. That bastard brought it upon himself. She grabbed the object hard, thinking that she would hit Dustin’s head once more.
“Are you crazy? Are you in a rut? Did you go somewhere secretly and use up all your power? Do my words even sound like words to you?!”
Andra yelled at Dustin as she lowered her top with one hand, covering her exposed breasts. He forced her! This bastard wouldn’t be enough to go to jail and be hanged. She should have killed him earlier, but because of the magic she had on him, she couldn’t do it. It would be the regret of her life.
“When did I ask you to have sex? I said let’s talk! Are you not even human! Do you think I will resign and accept it all if you just continue doing this?!”
“…Then what are you going to do?”
At that moment, Dustin opened his mouth. It was a very unexpected and dignified statement, so that moment Andra was taken aback.
“What did you say now?”
“Look at me and tell me what to do! You don’t like the ring and you don’t like my body, so tell me what to do!”
Andra finally couldn’t stand it, and she hit him on the head once more. Is he just saying anything with that open mouth? As expected, he’s just a beast that can only be tamed with a rod to beat some sense into him.
She should have remembered that it’s impossible to communicate with Dustin. It was her fault for forgetting.
“What bullsh*t are you talking about? Are you suddenly feeling sad after I said that, huh? You crazy bastard! Worse than a bastard! Cut the crap, you damned trash!”
Dustin grabbed Andra’s hand as she was about to swing the thing again. This again! Andra was impatient and tried to use her magic. Had it not been for Dustin, who suddenly lowered his voice and opened his mouth with a terribly angry face.
“Don’t pretend you don’t know. You know why I am doing this.”
“What am I pretending not to know!”
“Are you really asking because you don’t know?”
Dustin puts his face close to Andra. The green eyes, which seemed to contain anger, trembled anxiously.
“You know. I like you.”
The object Andra was holding fell helplessly and rolled on the floor.
