Chapter 5
“Are you awake, Lady Avelin?”
Blink blink.
Andra opened her eyes and looked blankly at the people who were looking down at her. Where was she? She was supported by a nurse who slowly raised her upper body. When her back, covered in cold sweat, was exposed to the air, a chill ran down her spine and goosebumps rose. Someone quickly brought a shawl and covered her back.
“How many fingers do I have up?”
In front of Andra, the doctor in a white robe pulled a chair and sat down, then showed three fingers. Her brows frowned as she felt a headache, which made her head throb heavily, but Andra answered in a steady manner.
“…Three. Index, middle, ring.”
“There doesn’t seem to be anything wrong with hearing or sight. Lady, would you like to know where this place is? Who am I?”
“…Is it a ward, aren’t you a doctor?”
“Yes, you’re right. So, Lady, do you remember what happened before this? About why the Lady is here.”
Before this? Andra was silent for a moment. Thanks to that, those watching her held their breath. It was because they were worried that the Young Lady of the Avellin Marquisate had lost her memory.
Amnesia was a common aftereffect to those who suddenly fell in a dungeon. Who am I? Even if she spewed out such nonsense, there would be nothing strange about it.
But Andra Avellin showed an unexpected reaction. Terrified, she scoured through the people around her and in front of the full-length mirror, and she began to remove the patient’s clothes that she was wearing without anyone telling her to stop.
Andra looked at her body in the mirror as she turned around. Then she sighed in relief and at the same time made a puzzled expression on her face.
Traces and marks that were formed while doing that with Dustin in the dungeon were all gone. What’s more, even though she had done that, her back didn’t ache or tingle to the extent that she couldn’t stand on both legs.
Her body was the same as before falling into the dungeon.
‘What? Was it a dream?’
There was so little change in her body that it was hard to believe that it was all a dream or an illusion.
“What day is today?”
Andra rushed to ask the people looking at her. The doctor who had been examining Andra just before answered.
“It has been two days since the Lady and the Lord went to the dungeon together. Would you like some more clothes than that? It would be more proper for you to wear more clothes.”
“Two days? Have I been locked up in the dungeon for two days?”
“I’ll explain the details, so please put on your clothes first.”
She didn’t know what happened, but once she confirmed that she was in good shape, Andra picked up the patient’s gown, put it back on and sat down in front of the doctor again. She needed information. She needed to know if the events that took place in the dungeon were real or not.
“I’m a little confused, but could you please explain?”
When Andra politely asked, the doctor cleared his throat and opened his mouth again.
“How far do you remember?”
“I was looking at the murals in the ruins then suddenly fell into the dungeon.”
“Was it daytime? Do you remember what happened in the dungeon?”
“…I think it was daytime, I can’t remember.”
She pretended she didn’t know. The doctor didn’t respond, because he didn’t even think that Andra would remember it in the first place. Rather, the doctor just wrote ‘Just like the Lord said in this part’ on his notes.
“Well, where should I start? The Lady and Lord seem to have entered the dungeon and came out shortly after.”
“How long?”
“As Lady said, if it’s true that you fell into the dungeon during the day, it was about half a day. Because you were found that very night.”
Andra narrowed her brow involuntarily.
‘That can’t be…? Surely a day had gone by?’
She wanted to deny the doctor’s words, but she decided to keep listening. She heard somewhere that time flowed differently in a dungeon. Moreover, she lied that she didn’t even remember, so she couldn’t say that she’d been in the dungeon for over a day.
“I think the two of you collapsed as soon as you came out of the dungeon. The guards on patrol found the two of you fallen and moved you here. Anyway, the Lady has been sleeping here for two days.”
Andra was speechless again. She had no memory of exiting the dungeon. The last thing she remembered was when she was captured by Dustin and passed out from pleasure that poured out after several climaxes. Suddenly, she got a cold sweat on her back. No way…
“…Then, perhaps, at the time when I was found, what… was my condition?”
“Oh, don’t worry. You came out of the dungeon in perfect condition.”
There was no expression on the doctor’s face when he said that. So Andra could only breathe a sigh of relief inside. They didn’t find out what happened to her, but she didn’t seem strange to others at least.
‘That’s a relief.’
Had she been found naked, she would have bitten her tongue and killed herself. She never wanted to suffer such a shame. A love affair with Dustin Airak. That’s ridiculous…
She noticed that Dustin, who had fallen into the dungeon with her, was nowhere to be seen. Is he in another room? Andra looked around. She never thought the day would come when she would look for that son of a b*tch.
Andra asked with displeasure as she wrinkled her face.
“…Where is Lord Airak?”
The doctor who looked curiously at Andra’s fed up look when she said ‘Lord Airak’, replied.
“The Lord woke up a day earlier than the Lady, finished the investigation and examination, and returned to the academy first.”
So he left first.
Andra shook her head. Petty guy. The escort woke up first and left her? Bastard with no sense of duty.
But at the same time, she felt that it might be lucky that Dustin wasn’t here. Now that she couldn’t tell if what happened in the dungeon had been real or a fantasy, if she saw Dustin’s face, she would have had the urge to really kill him.
Crunch, Andra gritted her teeth.
‘I told him to stop, but he kept doing it.’
Dustin, who went crazy because of the heat, has constantly moved his groin. He almost never let her go and thrusted into her so much that it foamed up. It was an immeasurable, violent affair.
Because of that, when she thought of that time, she felt a certain bitterness down below. Besides, he uttered vulgar remarks so casually that she felt disgusted by how dirty he was.
Most of all, she couldn’t stand it anymore because she remembered herself crying under that bastard.
Avellin’s precious and famous daughter clinging to that vulgar Airak and moaning at him?
‘Should I just kill him?’
Andra thought seriously. It seemed that she might even be able to hire an assassin if she managed to convince her father well. Still, the two of them were in an antagonistic relationship that would not end until one of them dies.
After all, if one person really had to die for the tension between their families to end, then of course the person who should die was Dustin.
‘How should I kill him?’
But she shouldn’t move too hastily. What happened could be a simple illusion in that dungeon.
But what if it wasn’t? Andra thought about various things, but the doctor suddenly opened his mouth with a sad expression on his face.
“More than that, is it okay?”
“What?”
“As we are still investigating the dungeon, the research institute said that it would be difficult to return materials related to the ruins. As well as the Lady’s research. It seems they have decided to close Aslan Ruins for the time being.”
“What?!”
Andra’s voice grew louder. They said she couldn’t continue her research anymore? That, in other words, Andra’s graduation thesis was ruined. How could she possibly write her thesis when she couldn’t even finish her research?
‘I’m screwed.’
The doctor was now looking at Andra, who was frozen because of despair, with pitiful eyes. Because he knew very well the importance of a graduation thesis, both as a doctor himself and as a graduate of the academy. It was difficult for her to change the subject of her thesis now.
“You don’t seem to have any other health problems than that… You can be discharged from the hospital today, but you must complete a proper check-up before you go.”
The doctor’s eyes sharpened a little as he suddenly remembered that Andra had taken off her clothes before.
“There could be some aftereffects.”
His body felt weird
His manhood, which had been strangely energetic since the wee hours of the morning, was familiar but its size and intensity were quite different from usual. Furthermore, it hurt enough that he frowned.
Dustin went straight to the shower and turned on the water. A cold stream of water poured over his head, cooling his hot body a little. However, his manhood, which should have returned to its original state by now, was still upright.
‘…’
At first, he thought it was just because his body became sensitive. His body had been enchanted in the dungeon and had yet to return to its original state. It was because the magic was seriously poor quality, he wanted to seriously swear.
How could it create a fantasy where he and that Andra Avellin were doing it together?
In fact, Dustin dismissed everything that happened in the dungeon as an illusion shown by magic. It had been a few days since he came out of the dungeon, and the memories already began to fade as if it had been a dream. In addition, even physical traces of it had completely disappeared. Dustin immediately looked at his body as soon as he woke up from the ward in the Aslan Ruins and decided it was an illusion.
‘If we really did it and she scratched me so much like that, shouldn’t there be a sign of it?’
Dustin scanned his forearm. The place where Andra had scratched him was unblemished, without a single mark. It was the same with his reflection in the mirror. No trace of Andra could be found anywhere on his body.
Then of course. He could never have slept with that woman unless he’d gone crazy. All of this was just an illusion created by magic.
He calmed his manhood well, changed into training clothes, and headed to the training grounds. Hearing that he had fallen in the dungeon, the academic director and his professor advised him to rest for a week just in case, but he could not neglect his training.
Besides, the illusion made by the dungeon would come to mind just as he was about to forget it, then his manhood would start throbbing again. So it was better to move his body and leave him no time to think.
However, when he destroyed thirteen targets at the training grounds with his wooden sword alone, he realized that something was really wrong with his body. He had also become even stronger than before.
