Alright, it’s not Shu Zhe either, but I don’t really care about him.
There were four people on the ground, equivalent to the number of people standing. So not including me, there were a total of eight people at the scene.
The ones standing were the class leader, Shu Zhe, Tang Jiang, and… Li ErLeng.
The ones on the ground were, someone I didn’t recognize, another I didn’t recognize, another I didn’t recognize, and finally the one who was moaning the loudest had a familiar bald head.
He was wearing a tacky floral shirt and he had blisters on the corners of his mouth due to the lack of vitamins from only eating meat.
Isn’t that Zhao GuangTou? Once of my sworn enemies who once blockaded the class leader and I in an alley along with Li ErLao.
But in the end, I knocked both of them down and sent them to the hospital.
So he already recovered? He must have coincidentally ran into the class leader and her brother during his walk with his three followers and thought he had to get revenge.
The area by the river was wide and the class leader was wearing running shoes, so she could have easily escaped if she was by herself. The worst part was Shu Zhe wet himself when he saw the thugs and dropped his phone which caused it to break.
He couldn’t even think about escaping since he was too afraid to even speak.
This was the typical setting in H manga, where the girl gets assaulted, but a hero came out.
The hero was actually the person who Shu Zhe thought was a stalker, Li ErLeng.
And that was why Zhao GuangTou was lying on the ground bleeding. Li ErLeng was also riddled with wounds with blood on the corners of his mouth, but he stood in front of the class leader like a castle wall.
We have to start the story back at the beginning.
It was Friday and Shu Zhe who wasn’t in a rush to finish his homework, locked himself in his room after dinner to use the internet (I suspect he was video chatting). The class leader who had won her volleyball game in the afternoon, felt her brother had to exercise more, so she dragged her brother out to run with her.
Shu Zhe began huffing and puffing before he even ran 400m. The class leader could only let him rest, so they decided to head to the night market to buy some cheap goods and then head home.
Li ErLeng appeared at the night market.
Shu Zhe, who wasn’t interested in the night market goods, was the first one to notice Li ErLeng while the class leader was choosing a ¥10 umbrella.
Shu Zhe immediately warned his sister they were being followed, but the class leader wasn’t really alarmed when she turned around and saw Li ErLeng.
“It would be too late if he does!”
I’m not sure if Shu Zhe suddenly gained a conscience and decided to care about his sister’s safety, or he just wanted to leave the night market and head home, but he grabbed her hand and started to pull her away.
In order to avoid Li ErLeng, Shu Zhe brought his sister to the dark path on the riverbank but ran into Zhao GuangTou. I could only sigh since it seemed Shu Zhe had a superpower to screw over his sister at any occasion whether it’s intentional or not.
Li ErLeng anxiously tagged along when he realized the person he liked was in a place with a high rate of crime, but he was mistaken by Shu Zhe as a criminal so he gave me a call.
He was surrounded by Zhao GuangTou and his lackeys before he even finished the call. Shu Zhe dropped his phone out of fear and the call cut off.
The class leader was able to recognize Zhao GuangTou from his lascivious laugh before he even spoke. It was a bad situation, so she picked up a rock to defend herself, but a rock wasn’t enough to defeat four fuckers. It could at most distract them while she escaped, but there was no way the class leader would leave her brother behind.
As she was at her wit’s end, Li ErLeng rushed out with a yell and shielded the siblings with his 200lb body.
The determination on his face made people feel fear.
“Shu… Shu Sha is a good girl, don’t you dare touch her.”
Li ErLeng then awaited battle as the thugs pulled out batons and other weapons.
You could tell how fierce the battle was based on Li ErLeng’s shirt that was ripped to shreds and the blood stains on his body.
Li ErLeng, who was empty-handed, had to face four bad guys with weapons. One of them was Zhang TouGuang, who was especially vicious. It was a battle he was destined to lose.
Li ErLeng exhibited superpower abilities in order to protect the class leader. It was like he didn’t feel any pain as the other side hit him with batons. During a counterattack, he was finally able to grab onto one of the thugs. He knocked the thug out with two punches then used him as a shield to fight against the other three.
Shu Zhe told his sister to quickly run while they were fighting, but the class leader said:
“You go, I can’t leave behind someone who came to save me.”
The class leader was planning on throwing rocks to help Li ErLeng, but he blocked her line of sight because he was too fat. And they were all entangled together, so the class leader didn’t find a good opportunity.
Li ErLeng who had injuries all over his face, hands, and legs, still didn’t retreat. It was completely different than the time when he easily conceded against my Yin Yang Sanshou. I couldn’t help but suspect he also turned on his berserk mode.
Or is everyone a berserker when they try to protect something that’s important to them.
Zhao GuangTou had a good idea and gestured at his two lackeys to distract Li ErLeng while he tries to attack from behind. He smiled sinisterly as he raised his steel pipe high above Li ErLeng’s head.
The class leader yelled, “careful”. As she was about to throw a stone, another person appeared. It was the one I called, Tang Jiang.
Ever since Tang Jiang was defeated by me last time, he had to cut his hair short and stay out of trouble under orders from young master Xu. He rushed out empty-handed when he heard Xiao Hong was in danger because young master Xu had confiscated all his weapons.
Tang Jiang saw Li ErLeng fighting against four people after he arrived by listening to the sounds of the fight. He wasn’t sure of the situation, but he saw the class leader standing some distance behind Li ErLeng.
It was dark and there weren’t any streetlights, so Tang Jiang mistook the class leader for Xiao Hong. In the heat of the moment, he picked up a brick from the side of the road (Not sure why there are always bricks laying around randomly).
When he saw Zhao GuangTou about to attack Li ErLeng’s head, Tang Jiang didn’t show any mercy and smashed the brick on his smooth bald head and Zhao GuangTou fainted.
The situation now reversed.
Although Li ErLeng was dumb, he still understood Tang Jiang was there to help. So he raised his spirits and quickly knocked down one of the remaining thugs.
The remaining one wanted to run, but ended up being kicked in the waist by Tang Jiang and knocked down.
The final result was 4:0. Neither the class leader, Shu Zhe, or Tang Jiang who just joined the fight was injured. It’s a pity for Li ErLeng who had to act as a meat shield.
I wasn’t sure where Zhao GuangTou learned the shaolin metal head martial arts, but he was still able to wobble up after taking a brick to the head. He stood up and wanted to escape.
This is where the rock in the class leader’s hand came into use.
A few days ago, the class leader showed mercy to the mohawk head who pleaded for mercy, but she didn’t show any mercy to Zhao GuangTou who attempted to sexually assault her. The class leader sent the rock flying straight towards Zhao GuangTou’s head without any hesitation.
Zhao GuangTou fell down with a smack. That’s probably what caused the blood I saw on his head.
I didn’t know how to thank Li ErLeng, then Tang Jiang pulled me to the side and spoke with discontent:
“Ye Lin, you tricked me. This Shu Sha person might be similar to Xiao Hong, but something seems off.”
“What’s off?” I feigned ignorance.
“Everything.” He said angrily, “Her face looks similar, but she’s not my type since she’s not the gentle type. I like gentle girls like Xiao Hong.”
“I asked if she had a younger sister, but she insisted she didn’t. Ye Lin, tell me the truth. Shu Sha is your classmate, right? Did you guys cooperate to hide Xiao Hong from me?”
I laughed awkwardly and unconsciously looked towards Shu Zhe who was hiding behind a tree. Shu Zhe covered half his face pretending he was injured because he was afraid he would be recognized by Tang Jiang.
It seems Tang Jiang can’t even remember the time when he bullied Shu Zhe. The scene where he rescued Shu Zhe in female clothing was too perfect in his mind, he would never think Xiao Hong wasn’t a girl.
I tried to skimp over the issue with a few sentences, and Tang Jiang couldn’t really do anything since he thought I was the only way he could find Xiao Hong.
Now I paid attention to Li ErLeng.
He was covered in sweat and panting heavily. Shu Zhe held his nose and stated away, but the class leader didn’t mind the smell. She inspected his most serious injury that was on his arm and passed a handkerchief to him to wipe the blood that was dripping into his eyes.
Li ErLeng didn’t want to use the handkerchief and it was like he wanted to keep it as a souvenir as he clumsily stuffed it into his pockets.
After the class leader blew away the dust on his injury, she wrapped it up with a handkerchief.
“Li CunZhuang, why did you save me? We haven’t talked much in school and I only remember telling you the directions once.”
Li ErLeng who was gradually feeling pain again grimaced, but still replied with a foolish smile:
“Only… only you didn’t call me by my nickname.”
“Just because of that?”
“And… and because you’re beautiful.” Li ErLeng said foolishly.
The class leader was embarrassed being complimented in front of everyone.
Shu Zhe suddenly jumped out and said: “Hey, don’t think my sister’s going to be your girlfriend just because you saved her!”
Shu Zhe was no longer afraid of Li ErLeng due to my appearance.
“I… I’ve never thought that way.”
“I… I know I’m ugly, stupid, and not a good fit for Shu Sha. I’m satisfied if I can protect her without letting her get injured.”
“I… I always sneak glances at you at the night market, sorry.”
Li ErLeng apologized to the class leader.
She wasn’t really sure how to respond.
I walked over with a complicated expression and patted Li ErLeng’s shoulder.
“Li… Li CunZhuang, can I call you Zhuang Zi?”
Li ErLeng was afraid I would knock him down with Yin Yang Sanshou, but he nodded after he realized I had no bad intentions.
“Zhuang Zi, I’m the one who should say sorry. I shouldn’t have messed with you on the exercise fields, and I shouldn’t have followed along and called you by your nickname. Can you forgive me?”
Li CunZhuang, who I would no longer refer to as Li ErLeng, smiled as happily as a child.
