Chapter 1120 - Julian Vs Olympia (2)

Julian carefully watched as the battle folded, as soon as he noticed the two Meowstic moved away from each other, he knew he had a chance to end this battle very quickly.

Julian "Floette, use Petal Dance"

Hearing Julian, his Floette went high up in the air and waved around her flower and caused the wind to go wild, glowing petals appeared out of thin air and created a massive tornado between the two Meowstic.

The petal tornado started to pull everything into it, the two Meowstic felt the force of the pull and started to struggle to keep themselves away from the tornado.

Julian "Charmeleon, use Dragon Claw"

Charmeleon who is a few feet away from the petal tornado heard Julian and extended his claws, dragon energy traveled through his body towards his two claws and created massive claws made of dragon energy, he then set his sights on the closest Meowstic which is the male one and charged towards it.

The male Meowstic who is struggling to hold up against the petal tornado noticed that Charmeleon is coming right towards it, it didn't know what to do so it linked up with its partner.

Olympia also quickly tried to figure out a solution and thought of something.

Olympia "Use Psychic to control the petals, use Sucker Punch"

Olympia didn't have to specify which pokemon to make them use their moves, the two pokemon are connected to each other mentally so they are in constant communication with each other so both of them know what to do and who is going to make the move.

It is not just Olympia who is a quick thinker, the two Meowstics also come up with decisions on the spot and make their move.

The female Meowstic who is a little further away from the action and not that affected by the petal tornado suddenly used Psychic on the petal tornado, it struggled to use Psychic on the petal tornado as there is a lot of power behind it but it did help them slow it down a little.

Charmeleon who was about to land the Dragon Claw on the male Meowstic suddenly got punched by the male Meowstic as it used Sucker Punch, since it's a priority move it will always hit first if the user gets attacked by a physical move.

As soon as Charmeleon got punched, Olympia thought that Charmeleon would be sent flying but boy she was wrong, that Sucker Punch seems to have pissed of Charmeleon, he glared coldly at the Meowstic as his head was being turned away by the punch.

The other Dragon Claw that is still active in his left hand, Charmeleon used the force that was about to send him flying thanks to the Sucker Punch, swiped his left hand at the male Meowstic.

Charmeleon was sent spinning through the air as he was hit right in the jaw but his Dragon Claw also made contact with the small Meowstic's body and sent it shooting into the petal tornado created by the Petal Dance.

The male Meowstic was shocked, taken by surprise as it felt its body being lifted off the ground and shooting through the air, it felt a sharp pain on the right side of its body but before it could process it, its whole world turned upside down as it got rattled inside the petal tornado.

Olympia was also shocked by this, she didn't expect such an outcome but it was not over, as soon as the male Meowstic was launched into the petal tornado, Floette sent it galloping towards the female Meowstic.

The female Meowstic used all its power behind Psychic to slow the Petal Dance down but she couldn't, Floette was just a little more powerful than her, Floette continued to control the petal tornado created by the Petal Dance and hit the female Meowstic with it.

Now both Meowstics are inside the tornado and are being rattled, Floette finally stopped as she couldn't maintain the tornado any longer, as soon as the tornado disappeared and the energy petals dispersed into thin air, both Meowstic fell hard on the ground.

Julian expected this to be over but to his surprise, it was not, both Meowstic are still conscious but they are badly hurt, especially the male as it took the whole impact of the Dragon Claw head-on from Charmeleon.

The reason the petal tornado didn't finish them of was that they are still under the effects of the Light Screen, it protected them from fetal damage.

Charmeleon who was also sent flying through the air and crashed hard on the ground got back to his feet and rubbed his jaw while staring at the two Meowstics.

The only reason Olympia's plan failed was because of Charmeleon, she expected him to get blasted away like any other pokemon but Julian's Charmeleon is a barbaric stubborn bastard, he doesn't like getting outdone by his opponents.

Every time he gets attacked, he tries his best to always get the last hit no matter the outcome, during practice, he even tried to swipe at Infernape when he got slapped to the side by Infernape, as soon as Infernape slapped Charmeleon he tried to get the last hit on Infernape and he was successful, he did hit Infernape but Infernape didn't feel it at all, Charmeleon, on the other hand, got knocked out cold.

The same thing happened here, the male Meowstic got a good hit on Charmeleon but since he is a tough bastard, he wanted the last hit and blasted Meowstic with a Dragon Claw while he was being sent flying.

All this happened in a few seconds and the results are clear, Charmeleon won that exchange even though he got hit first, right now the male Meowstic is struggling to get up and the female is trying to help it stand.

And as for their partnership, it's broken as they cannot coordinate their moves in such a state.
