Chapter 1134 - Wulfric And His Ways

Now that he has a place to relax and calm down after his travel, he then looked into the gym leader of Snowbelle Gym.

The gym leader of the Snowbelle gym is Wulfric, a big old man with white hair and a big beard, he then looked into his battle records and was surprised by his insane win rate of 98% on every first challenge, this was the highest win rate Julian had ever seen.

Just from his impressive win rate, he could tell that Wulfric will be a mighty foe, he then looked into his pokemon and finally realized why his win rate was so high.

First, his pokemons are massive and rely on their power and defense, Julian knows about pokemons that have both powerful and have a high defense as he has trained pokemons like this, for example, his Snorlax and Tyranitar.

The number of pokemons that Wulfric uses is just two, the battles he has are only two on two, it is very rare for him to have a three on three pokemon battle, the reason why he doesn't like three on three battles is that he finds them too long.

Julian was surprised when he read that, he realized that Wulfric is a character, he then looked at the two pokemons, they are Avalugg and Abomasnow.

These two are his main pokemons and they have dominated every battle that they have been in.

Julian looked more into these two pokemons and found out that his Avalugg is almost impossible to take down due to its ridiculous defense and then there is his Abomasnow which is an allrounder powerhouse, it doesn't have a super high attack or defense but its stats are nicely balanced making it a pokemon that can adapt to all kinds of opponents.

But the main reason Abomasnow is a formidable pokemon to its challenger is that it can Mega Evolve and Wulfric doesn't seem to be shy of using it, whenever he thinks that his opponents are doing better than he expected, he rises up the bar, and Mega Evolves his Abomasnow.

Now that he has an idea of what he will be facing in the Snowbelle gym, he started to look into his own team and think of the pokemons he wants to use, his team right now is very small with only six pokemon.

He didn't think his team would only have six pokemon at the very end of his journey but he doesn't care, the six pokemon in his team are very good and having a small team also helped him a lot, with a small team he had more time to dedicate to each and every one of them.

He is planning to evolve his Floette, Doublade, and Skrelp very soon, he will be using evolutionary stones to evolve his Floette and Doublade and Skrelp has reached his limit and will soon be evolving.

He just needs a push.

After a little bit of thinking, Julian decided to evolve his Doublade and then use him in the battle and his second pokemon will be Clawitzer, Clawitzer has not had any recent battle and Julian thinks that this will be a good battle for him.

As for his other pokemon, they will be on the sidelines and only get some action when the league finally starts, Porygon will be too dominant in any battle, Floette and Charizard had their battle in Anistar city though it was just Charizard who did most of the battle, and then there is Skrelp, Julian doesn't plan to have him battle until he finally evolves, Julian has been waiting for quite long now.

Skrelp takes very long to evolve and now he is finally there, Julian could use him in this match but his current body won't be able to handle the power Wulfric's pokemon possesses, but once he evolves it would be a whole another deal.

Now that he knows which pokemons he will be using, he walked out of his hotel and quickly found a place to train at the edge of the city, there seem to be not many people here, and his surrounding is covered with forest so he should be safe from public eyes.

He then brought out his pokemons and let the others continue with their normal training while he stood in front of Floette and Doublade and took out two stones from his dimensional pouch.

The two stones are Dusk Stone and Shiny Stone.

Dusk Stone will trigger Doublade's evolution and he will finally evolve into Aegislash and the Shiny Stone will trigger Floette's evolution and she will evolve into a Florges.

The two who were wondering why they were selected looked at him curiously, but when they noticed him taking out two stones from his dimensional pocket.

As soon as these two stones came out, the two of them felt a connection to it, they felt like the power that is dormant inside them wanted to burst out.

They realized what these stones are and got excited and waited for Julian to pass them over, Julian saw that both Doublade and Floette got excited seeing the stones in his hand, he smiled at them and handed over the Dusk Stone to Doublade and Shiny Stone to Floette.
