Chapter 1138 - Julian Vs Wulfric (3)

Aegislash looks quite good as he stares down Abomasnow.

Wulfric felt a little headache as he witnessed Julian sending out a new pokemon into the battlefield, and that too a steel type which has resistance to ice type pokemons.

But Wulfric won't back down from a battle.

He didn't even think for a second before he pulled out his Keystone and mega evolved his Abomasnow, light leaked out of the Keystone in his hand which caused the Mega Stone around Abomasnow's neck to react, light leaked out of the Mega Stone as well and started to fuse with the ones coming from the Keystone.

Soon Abomasnow got covered in colorful light and a visible change started to take place, it started to grow in size exceptionally, it stood at 2.2 meters at first but now it seems to have grown to 2.7 meters tall.

The light soon faded away revealing Mega Abomasnow, it looked bigger and its hairs are now more aggressive than before, its body size has also increased a lot giving it more power.

Once Abomasnow was done Mega Evolving Julian made his move.

Julian "Use Air Slash"

Since Aegislash is in blade forme right now his attack and special attacks are off the roof while his defense and special defense are lacking, Julian used this chance to attack first again and see what Wulfric's Abomasnow has up its sleeve.

Aegislash slashed forcefully through the air horizontally and sent a massive blade made of air at Mega Abomasnow.

Wulfric "Use Energy Balls"

Wulfric ordered.

Mega Abomasnow raised both its arms and created a massive Energy Ball and sent it towards the incoming Air Slash.

The two attacks collided right in the middle of the battlefield and created a powerful explosion which was followed up by a shockwave, the force from the explosion even cracked the ice below it.

Julian "Use Aerial Ace"

Hearing Julian's order Aegislash flew up high in the air and shot towards Abomasnow, he then suddenly disappeared in mid-air and appeared right before Abomasnow.

Wulfric "Use Ice Punch"

Wulfric called for a counter at the right time, Abomasnow punched at Aegislash and both of them clashed again, another powerful clash that created a powerful shockwave once again.

The ice beneath Abomasnow's legs cracked and then got crushed as she was pushed back by Aegislash but was soon stopped as both of them lost all their momentum and energy, seeing that Aeigslash is up close Wulfric realized that this is the chance to attack.

Wulfric "Now, use Shadow Ball"

Wulfric ordered, one of the few weaknesses that Aegislash has is ghost type and Wulfric wants to take advantage of this.

Julian saw this coming beforehand and was ready for it.

Julian "Stance Change"

Julian called out.

Stance Change is not a move but Aegislash's ability, this ability allows Aegislash to change stance and alter his stats, right now he is in his Blade Forme which gives him very high attack and special attack but this also makes his defense and special defense lackluster which could be a catastrophe if he gets hit by just one big move.

And the incoming Shadow Ball is that big move.

Aegislash quickly used Stance change and put his shield in front of his blade and supported it with both his arms, Stance Change was successful and Aegislash took Shield Forme and his stats took a drastic turn, his defense and special defense rose up exceptionally while his attack and special attack fell drastically.

In this form, his attack power will be very low and his defense will be very high and if he wants to attack with high power again he will have to stance change and go back to his Blade Forme.

The Shadow Ball from Abomasnow landed straight on Aegislash's shield but he took it like it was nothing, he was just pushed back a little.

Wulfric clicked his tongue in annoyance but continue with his attack.

Wulfric "Use Ice Punches"

With Wulfric's order, Mega Abomasnow started to go heavy with its attack, it charged up Ice Punch in both its hands and started to swing at Aegislash.

The sound of Abomasnow's ice-covered fist hitting the metal shield of Aegislash created gong-like sounds inside the battlefield.

Aegislash was being pushed back by Abomasnow but Julian didn't make a move yet, though these punches are dealing damage Julian is confident in Aegislash's defense.

Abomasnow soon started to get exhausted as it used too much of its power, continuous Ice Punches, and that too at full power and speed was not something one should do, no matter how good a pokemon's stamina is, they will be quickly drained if they do so.

Seeing that it was time to counter-attack, Julian made the move.

Julian "Stance Change, and use Sacred Sword"

Aegislash dodged the last Ice Punch from the exhausted Abomasnow and did a Stance Change returning back to his Blade Forme, he then used Sacred Sword to attack.

His blade started to glow and he then slashed at Abomasnow, with a full power Sacred Sword in his Blade Forme, there is no way Abomasnow could survive this.

Abomasnow got hit and was sent flying through the air, it then crashed hard against the ice floor causing it to shatter again, water seeped out from beneath, and Abomasnow's Mega Evolution faded away revealing the knocked out Abomasnow on the Icy flood.

The referee stepped in and soon called out the result.

Referee "Abomasnow is unable to battle, Aegislash wins"

He declared.
