Now that Julian has received Angela's warning, he is prepared for Lysander, from what he learned, Lysander will make his move right after the league is over, till then no life will be in danger.

Lysander has a Zygarde core under his control and he has brainwashed it and has taken control over it, with Zygarde core's help he plans to take over Lumiose city and take hostage of its citizen and then plans to negotiate with the league to gain full control over every infrastructure in Kalos.

Even Julian was surprised by Lysander's plan, he thought Lysander is just going to use brute force and take control but it seems that he has a phase 2 to his plan, he wants to take control over everything in Kalos so he can easily kill off the resistance from the locals.

Just taking over the region won't cut it and Lysander knows, even if he takes over he will meet with resistance and the resistance will not be small, in this world, every other person is a trainer and has pokemon, the resistance from a combined force of these people will be dangerous.

But if Lysander can take control of every infrastructure in Kalos he will be able to control everything, from electricity to food, and by controlling these supplies, he can force most people to just submit to him.

This is indeed a brilliant plan from Lysander but Julian knows this is not the main plan, there is something else that Lysander is hiding even from his closes associate except the fat guy that Angela warned him about.

After thinking about it for a few minutes he informed Cynthia about Lysander's plan to take over the city, Cynthia knew that Julian has some of his servants inside Team Flare so she was not surprised by the information she received from Julian.

She inquired more about this situation and wanted to know if she should take some action, but Julian warned her not to, if Lysander finds out that the league knows about his plan he will definitely go into hiding and he will also find out that there is a mole in his organization and this will put his people in danger.

With most of the power structure of Team Flare under Julian's control, he can make sure that no innocent life is put in danger and by letting Lysander do whatever he is planning Julian can figure out what the real plan he is trying so hard to hide.

Julian wants to bring out Plan B and for that, he needs to let things go as Lysander has planned.

He sent out another message to Angela and instructed her to do things per his requirement and put his phone away and spent the rest of the day doing nothing but watching tv.

With everything in motion, Julian just had to wait it out, and wait it out he did.

After two days the top 32 began and Julian got ready for his big battle against the other top 32 contestants.

When he arrived at the grand stadium it was already full, people were every trying to break barricades and get in but they were easily pushed back by the guards, the league puts a lot of effort into security, they didn't want people to put themselves in danger to just witness battles that they could watch in their house.

Julian entered the grand stadium through the trainer's entrance and headed to the waiting room. When he walked in inside the waiting room he saw 15 more trainers inside waiting for the top 32 to finally begin and between these 15 trainers, he saw some interesting faces and a few familiar ones and one of them being Ash.

As soon as Ash saw Julian he approached Julian enthusiastically alongside his Pikachu who is standing on his shoulder.

Ash "Julian, you are finally here, I can't wait to battle you again".

Ash said.

Julian "Sure, I would like to see how much you have improved but for you to challenge me, you need to defeat every trainer that you face".

Julin said.

Ash "Don't worry about me, I will make sure to not lose to anyone"

Ash replied and hit his chest with confidence.

Julian "That's good, you should concentrate on your opponent"

Julian said and left Ash on his own so he can get prepared for his battle, his opponent is a trainer named Simon who has an undefeated streak in the tournament and seems to be a very promising trainer.

Julian had seen him battle and was quite impressed by his skill so he is looking forward to seeing this battle between Ash and Simon.

Soon the announcement of the battle started and Julian could already hear people getting excited, their roar shook the stadium as they demanded the trainers to take the stage.

Ash will be the very first one to enter the battlefield with his opponent Simon.

The league staff soon walked into the waiting room and informed Ash that he is up, Ash got up, took a deep breath, and walked into the battlefield.

Julian watched the screen in the waiting room as Ash took the stage.

As soon as Ash entered the crowd went wild, Ash is very famous because he is renowned as one of the strongest trainers and is already considered as a future champion because of all the accolades that he has achieved at such a young age, no trainer in the past has ever come close to the success Ash has under his belt.

As Ash entered the battlefield so did his opponent, even though Simon is not as famous as Ash he certainly has a lot of fans, especially girls because of his good looks.

People cheered for Simon as well and waited in anticipation for the battle to begin.
