As the lights fused, light completely engulfed Garchomp and visible change started to happen, after a few seconds, the light disappeared finally revealing Mega Garchomp.

As soon as Mega Garchomp was in front of the crowd they went crazy and the pressure on Dragalge increased a lot.

Julian also didn't expect his opponent to mega evolve right at the beginning, this also meant that Dragalge's chance of winning is very slim but it also will allow Dragalge to hone his skill against a pokemon that is way above its level, whether it is speed, physical power or special power, the only thing Dragalge can rely on is Julian and its mobility, though its little Julian has trained Dragalge's mobility to perfection.

As soon as Garchomp mega evolved, Remo went straight for the attack.

Remo "Use Dragon Rush"

A full-powered Dragon Rush used by a mega evolved Garchomp is devastating and it is heading right towards Dragalge, once this lands, no matter how much trainer Dragalge has gone through, it won't matter because the power behind the move is beyond anything Dragalge can handle right now.

If Julian had an extra month of training, then maybe Dragalge could survive this head-on but not right now, Julian's eyes were focused as he looked at the trajectory of the Dragon Rush, even if Garchomp decided to turn and chase after Dragalge, Julian wanted to make it hard for it.

No matter how powerful the pokemon are, if they are moving at a high speed, suddenly changing direction in mid-air is impossible, Julian is going to use this to his advantage.

Being the smaller pokemon here, Dragalge has a few things he can utilize to dodge this move and come out unscathed, after predicting all the possibilities inside his mind, Julian made his move.

Julian "Move to the right while using Aqua Tail"

Since Dragalge doesn't have any limbs, he cannot move fast on land so with the assistance of Aqua Tail, Dragalge can make suddenly burst into motion with extreme speed.

Dragalge used Aqua Tail and dragged its tail towards the left which propelled his body to the right and he dodged the Dragon Rush by a hair inch but it was not over, Mega Garchomp suddenly made a wide turn and flew up into the sky then came to a sudden halt and started to dive down at full speed.

With gravity assisting it, Mega Garchomp's descent was very fast and with this, it wanted to take out Dragalge.

Julian "Use Icy Wind"

Julian commanded. With Mega Garchomp rushing towards Dragalge, Dragalge looked up and aimed at the incoming Garchomp and used Icy Wind.

A blast of freezing air burst out and hit Garchomp head-on, as an Ice-type move it is four times effective against Garchomp and with the special effect of Icy wind, it slows down the opponent's speed.

Garchomp's speed significantly slowed down but Julian was not going to risk it by taking on the attack head-on, he wanted to dodge this attack at the very end so that Garchomp doesn't have any time to recover.

If Julian decided to move early, Garchomp can change direction and follow Dragalge, dodging at the last moment is the best choice right now.

As Garchomp arrived a few meters above Dragalge Julian called for another dodge.

Julian "Dodge with Aqua Tail"

Dragalge used Aqua Tail and dragged it towards the left causing his body to be catapulted to the right and dodging the Dragon Rush.

Garchomp crashed hard on the ground which caused the whole battlefield to shatter, web-like pattern spread across the whole battlefield while a massive pit formed right where Garchomp impacted the ground.

Julian "Use Dragon Pulse"

While Dragalge was still gliding over the battlefield with his tail covered in water, he turned his body and locked his eyes on the impact zone, and used Dragon Pulse at full power.

Julian was not going to give his opponent's pokemon any time to recollect itself.

The Dragon Pulse tore through the air and landed on Garchomp, Garchomp who was covered by a dust cloud was pushed out of the pit into the opening and the dust cloud was pushed out of existence from the shockwave.

The Garchomp seems to have sensed the incoming attack and was successful to cross its arms together to intercept the Dragon Pulse so it doesn't make a direct impact on its body.

Though Dragalge's Dragon Pulse was very powerful, Mega Garchomp managed to block it with its bare hands which are shaped like scythe blades.

Though it is hurt from the attack, it couldn't take it out.

Garchomp growled and gritted its teeth while tolerating the pain, it glared angrily at Dragalge as a weaker pokemon was able to cause it to hurt with just one attack.

It hurt Garchomp's pride.
