Chapter 561 - The Semi-Finals

It's the Semi-finals and people are already going crazy, it's Julian vs Brain today while Tobias and Ash will be tomorrow.

The lily valley is now fully crowded by people as they want to see Julian use more of his pokemons and show their true power to the world.

People from all over the world who have never heard of him before have arrived to see him as they heard about how powerful he is and how no one has ever managed to defeat him, the only person to bring down one of his pokemon is Lance and people know how strong Lance really is.

He is defending the title of champion of both Jhoto and Kanto at once and many champions have respect for him.

It's already hard to defend a championship title of a single region and Lance is defending twice at once, when asked how he has managed to do this, his only answer was because he is growing stronger so he can put up a proper challenge for Julian's main team one day.

And people know about Julian's main team, the team that consists of Infernape and Squad, people talk about them being the most powerful pokemons in the world right after the legendaries.

With such a reputation, of course, Julian will attract the attention of the strongest trainers in the world and now they are here to see this undefeated trainer.

The sound of the fireworks started to semifinals as the crowd went wild, their voices could be heard all over the valley and further, the whole of Sinnoh is in front of their television as they are eager to watch this battle.

People are standing on roads to watch the battle on the huge billboards that are hung on the walls of tall buildings, people have taken a leave from their school and work just to watch the semi-finals of the Sinnoh League conference.

Julian is inside the waiting room, his eyes closed as he meditates to clear up his mind, his opponent is Brian who has used only two Ghost-type pokemons for the whole league, none of his opponents have managed to land even a single hit on him and he seems to be the one who likes to attack his opponent's pokemons from behind.

His main moves seem to be Shadow Sneak as well.

After clearing his mind Julian opened his eyes as he waited for his name to be announced, he didn't have to wait long as he heard the announcer start his usual announcement as he started to introduce the competitors.

Announcer "First is a trainer that only a few noticed until he got into the top 32, he maintained an undefeated streak just like our other competitors but he only used two pokemons till now, none of his opponents ever managed to land a single hit on his pokemons, its trainer Brian"

As the announcer finished his introduction, Brian walked out from his side, he is wearing a blue long t-shirt that is till his knees and on top of that he is wearing a sleeveless black jacket, he is wearing brown cargo pants, he has white hair and its tips are colored blue.

As he walked out people cheered for him, during this league he managed to get some fans for himself as well, he is a handsome young man and his unusual style attracted a lot of attention from teenagers, he waved his hands at the fans with a big smile on his face.

Brian finally stood on his spot and looked at the gate from which Julian is going to enter, he became focused and ready to battle.

Announcer "Our next trainer doesn't need any introduction, his fame and skill are renowned all over the world, carrying the title of the undefeated, he is none other than Julian"

Hearing his name Julian finally walked out of the gate as the light from the sun hit him, he heard his name is repeated again and again by his fans who are crazy over him, he can see his posters being held by his fans, he could also see some of his pokemon's posters there as well, especially Victini who has become a star from a single internet video.

But right now Julian is not interested in his fans, his eyes are set on his opponent, Brian.

Seeing Julian looking at him with his red eyes, Brian started to feel a pressure he has never felt before, from a very young age he was called a prodigy when it comes to pokemon training.

The first time he saw Julian on television in the Indigo league he was impressed but he thought that he could defeat Julian, he once again saw Julian winning the Ever Grand Conference and the same thought came to his mind, he can defeat Julian as he is a prodigy, so he finally decided to chase Julian and defeat him so the whole world knows about him.

When he learned that Julian is going to participate in the Sinnoh league he came to Sinnoh so he can participate in the league and face Julian and defeat him.

But now it felt completely different, this was the first time he felt something like this, someone looking down on him, someone who is a lot stronger than him, just the invincible aura around Julian made Brian uncomfortable.

Julian stood on his spot and looked at Brian, a worthy trainer, Julian hasn't seen much of what Brian has to give during their battle but Julian has already decided to not go easy on his opponents from now on.

He wants to see what Brian is really hiding.
