Chapter 599 - Choosing A Pokemon Is Hard

After walking out of the museum Julian decided to head towards Nuvema city, he still has a few days and he has enough time on him so he doesn't have to hurry right now.

After leaving Nacrene city he will have to go through Striaton city, then Acc.u.mula Town before finally reaching Nuvema city.

Julian looks at his digital map in his mobile and sees what is there in Striaton city, the only notable thing in his city seems to be a very famous restaurant, a trainer school and a pokemon gym which is run by three brothers, Julian wasn't surprised to see a trainer school in this city as it is very close to Nuvema town.

Most young trainers get their first pokemon from Professor Juniper and some of them will head to a trainer school to learn more before deciding what they want to become in the future.

Pokemons are a very important part of a human's life, most business and work use the help of Pokemons and their abilities.

Julian didn't waste much of his time looking around these cities and directly headed towards Nuvema town to deliver the file that Professor Oak gave to him, Professor Kukui should be there by now and the testing process should be going on right now.

Even though he wanted to look around Striaton city a little longer, he only decided to rest there for a day and have something to eat in the famous restaurant there.

And Julian did so, after arriving at the city he noticed that this city was not as big as he expected, it was very well developed and the buildings around the city were quite unique, the design of these buildings was very different from what he had seen in other regions, like Sinnoh, Hoenn, and Kanto.

After looking around he found a nice hotel to stay in which was actually next to the restaurant he was looking for, he could already smell the fragrance of the food being cooked inside this restaurant, not only him, even Crystal woke up from its dream and popped out of Julian's pocket and tried to rush there bu Julian stopped Crystal.

Julian "We will go afterward, not right now"

He said and dragged Crystal into the hotel and got a room, he then spent the whole day doing his research on Unova and its different landscapes, what type of pokemons are to be expected in different parts.

He had his eyes on some of the pokemon species that could be found in Unova, this time he wants to go wild with his selection, he didn't want a team like the one he had in Sinnoh, it was very well balanced, this time he wants a very odd team, like catching two pokemons of the same typing or something totally unexpected and Unova had these type of pokemons all over the region.

But for this to all start, he needs to catch a pokemon first and Julian doesn't know what to do.

Julian "Should I get a starter pokemon found here in Unova or a random one?"

He questioned himself but he couldn't decide, starter pokemons are always strong, they start up as weak but they evolve very fast and when they get to their final form they become one of the main powerhouses of the team.

Julian knows that so getting a starter pokemon of Unova is not a bad idea and if he does want one, he needs to decide between the three pokemons that are,

Snivy the grass type, they are very close to serpents and when they reach their final form they become serpents, at their final form they become very elegant and noble, they will glare at their opponents and if the opponent is weaker they would just flee but if the opponent doesn't get fazed by its noble glare they got all out against it to fight them.

Seeing this Julian smiled, he has never had a pokemon with this kind of personality.

Next is Tepig, the fire type and a little pig that shoots out fire from its nose and loves eating berries that it roasted, they are very good at close combat when they reach their final form, even though they are fat.

And last is Oshawott, the water type, it carries a scalchop on its belly and uses it as both a weapon and a shield. When they reach their final form the scalchop becomes a body armor with a longhorn in the front of its head and it also has two seamitars around its front legs that can be used as swords, when Julian saw this he was surprised, he didn't know about this at all.

Looking at the three species of pokemon he was interested but still doesn't know if he should choose them or catch something else.

As he was thinking about it, Crystal started to bug him by pulling his hair and poking his cheeks, it wanted to go to that restaurant that they saw before, he sighed and nodded he head and walked out of the room to take Crystal and his other pokemons to the restaurant, after eating there Julian was impressed by how good the food really was, so he decided to bring his girlfriends here when they come to meet him.

After eating Julian headed back, tomorrow he has to leave this city and continue on the road and reach his destination.
