Chapter 654 - Interrupted By A Gang

The Servine trainer is shocked by his defeat, he couldn't even show off his pokemons skills and ability and the battle has already ended.

Since he cannot do anything now, he just sent his Servine back to its Pokeball and stepped away from another trainer to step in.

The trainer who stepped in this time is a little cautious as he saw what the little Roggenrola can do, he knew he cannot fall for that Rock Blast trap and decided to send out a pokemon that can deal damage from far.

The trainer sent out a Gothorita, being a Psychic-type special attacker, it was indeed a good choice by the trainer, even though it doesn't have any advantages over a Rock Type pokemon, its psychic powers can still be useful.

The battle started and the trainer didn't wait for even a second before launching an attack at Roggenrola to deal with his fast but Julian was on alert.

Julian "Use Protect"

Roggenrola used Protect and blocked the incoming Psybeam from the Gothorita.

Julian "Use Rock Blast"

Hearing Julian, Roggenrola sent a bunch of rocks shooting towards Gothorita.

Trainer "This won't work on me, Gothorita use Psychic and stop them"

His Gothorita did as he said and stopped the rocks on their track but suddenly a lot of mud balls came from right behind the rocks that are floating in the air, some hit the rocks while others went right past it and landed on the Gothorita covering it with mud, the mud went everywhere, from its eyes to nose and covered its vision.

Roggenrola had used Mud-Slap, now that Gothorita was blinded it didn't take long before Roggenrola crushed it with Rock Tomb.

Even though these trainers and their pokemons looked strong they couldn't compare to Julian and his battle tactics, no matter how good and strong their pokemon are, seeing another quick victory from the man in black and his Roggenrola the crowd started to get excited.

They realized that this person was a real veteran and is here for a challenge, the weak and new trainers knew their limit and stayed behind, but some of them were really excited and challenged Julian and got defeated after one shot from Roggenrola.

Even though all the trainers who challenged Julian were weak, he didn't mind at all, he was happy to see so many trainers were still interesting in battling him even though they have seen him crush trainers stronger than them.

After sometime when everyone who wanted to challenge Julian knew that they couldn't they decided to stop, this is also what Julian has been waiting for.

He has now shown his skills and he wants to see if there are any trainers who can give his Roggenrola enough challenge for him to evolve into the next stage.

The crowd around the battlefield is already huge as people want to see who can defeat this person in black, he is already in a 10 win streak, the highest there has ever been and the people want to see him battle more, every battle till now hasn't lasted a minute and his Roggenrola has also not received any kind of damage.

Julian didn't have to wait long before a bunch of people walked towards the crowd, from the looks of it they looked like a local gang.

"Hey you, do you think you are some kind of hotshot, battling all these weak trainers and showing off"

The person in the front said. Julian looked at this person and noticed that this person is actually a real gangster, the way he dressed, carrying wooden baseball bats, and hokey sticks with him.

This is the first time Julian has come across any street gangs, mostly he won't mingle with these kinds of people as they are annoying and troublesome, who would have thought that they would come and find him.

"Hey, you? can't you talk? I asked you something"

The man said again, the goons around him were also getting aggressive swinging their bats in the air and scaring away the crowd.

Julian "Why not settle this with a pokemon battle, since you think these trainers are weak, you should be strong right, why not step up and battle me"

Julian said.

He didn't like goons but he didn't want to beat these people up just because they were annoyed by him.

The man got more pissed as he heard Julian, he thought he would be able to scare the man away but he couldn't, these gangs make a reputation by installing fear into people and if someone fights back they beat him up but not in public.

If they did that in public the police will get involved, to avoid police they choose their time and location for their targets, but the current situation is different, the person fought back and challenged them as well.

If he backs off now his gang reputation might decrease and his boss would kill him if the news about this spreads across the area.

Knowing he has nowhere to go he decided to play dirty and grinned maliciously at Julian and took his place on the battlefield.

Julian saw the expression of the man and could tell he is up to no good but Julian didn't mind this little nuisance, if things go bad he has Crystal and Gengar at disposal, just their aura could make the members of the gang faint.
