Chapter 673 - Under Development

Julian lifted the egg from the nest and kept it close to the dragon stone which is called the light stone as well in ancient scriptures, he then took out an egg incubator.

This incubator is the same one that held Crystal's egg so when Crystal saw it, it became happy and when right inside, it could feel a sense of similarity from this incubator, it stayed inside this incubator for such a long time, how could it not sense the similarity coming from the incubator.

Julian sighed seeing this Crystal being naughty again, it always wants to be the center of attention no matter where they are.

Julian "Crystal, come out, we need to put this egg inside"

Crystal puffed its cheek after hearing Julian but it still gout out as Julian didn't raise it to be a spoiled brat. After Crystal got out, it went straight into his jacket's pocket and tucked itself away in anger, Julian just smiled seeing this.

He knows that Crystal won't be mad for long, just handing over a bottle of milk will cheer it up, Crystal character is like a two-year-old baby but is still more intelligent than a five-year-old human baby.

After putting the egg inside the incubator and setting it into a perfect temperature, Julian decided to leave, he also put the light stone inside his pouch as well as it is of no use here and if it falls into the wrong hands' things can get wrong.

Julian quickly left the palace and walked outside the noticed that everyone has left, well anyone would have done that if they felt threatened by someone or something.

Since this part of the area is a real desert he will have to ride carefully on his bike, even though his bike is made for off-road purposes, it is clearly not a dirt bike or extreme motosport, he had to be careful while riding on these sandy dunes as they can get very slippery and if he crashes his bike, he will have no other choice but to fly back.

Yes it is way easier to fly back but Julian wants to ride on his own, after riding his bike for such a long time, it doesn't feel right for him when he uses other modes of transport, along with a pokemon trainer he has also become a true biker as well, he carries many motorcycle parts with him, trying to custom his bike on his own.

He even wants to buy a new one for the tracks and for fast riding in the highways.

Julian took out his bike and got ready to ride, he put on his helmet and slowly released the throttle of his bike on the sand dunes as he doesn't want to crash it, even if he crashes nothing will happen to him but his bike, the one that has been with him since the beginning of his journey will get destroyed if it starts to roll down a dune.

As first he took it slowly and when he got the hang of it, he started to ride extreme, there was nothing like the feeling of a bike up in the air with no wheels touching the ground, and after a few seconds it nose dives down, giving a rider the thrill he is seeking out.

Julian soon returns back to the resort and notices that the group of people that were with him in the van before just arrived as well, some of them were surprised to see Julian as they remembered this person wearing a red jacket sitting behind the van.

Most of them were so shocked by the incident that happened to them that they completely forgot about him, well he wasn't standing out in the group so no one bothered to remember him, now he is right in front of them on a bike.

Julian ignored them and went straight into the resort because standing in front of them and talking to them can cause trouble for him.

He quickly got into his room and took out the egg incubator once again to check on the egg that is inside it, from the looks of it, the egg is quite new and the pokemon inside it has not developed completely.

After the system scanned the egg, it confirmed Julian's prediction proving he was right, this also put him in a little tough position because this egg still has an embryo and the pokemon inside has not developed yet. When he received Crystal's egg from the Mews, Crystal was already developed that is why Julian was so surprised seeing how long Crystal took to act out of its egg.

Julian knew that he has to take special care of this egg, he also decided to expose the egg to the Light Stone of Reshiram as the late Volcarona did the same as well.

Just like Crystal's Julian's other pokemons are also curious about the new egg, especially Infernape, as he could tell that this egg has a special fire affinity, he is interested to see what comes out of it, the little ones were also very curious about the egg as well, it is their first time seeing one like this and how unique it looked.

Julian called Professor Oak to show him the egg and ask him some things regarding it and any tips to take care of an egg that is still under development, when Professor Oak saw the egg he was shocked, he informed Julian that a Volcarona's egg has never been observed in the wild or inside an observatory lab, meaning that Julian is the only one who holds a Volcarona's egg.

Oak "Take notes on every little change the egg goes through and inform me about it, this is a huge discovery, a Volcarona's egg is even rare than a Mythical pokemon"

Oak said and gave some important tips for Julian to follow because at the end of the day he is still more knowledgeable about pokemons than Julian and how to take care of them, for Julian all this is just a long educational journey as he learns about pokemon and how they behave, grow and interact.
