Once she was out of the battlefield, Elesa looked at the people in the audience as she waited for her second challenger to step forward, other than Julian there are two more people waiting for their chance, one is a trainer Julian has no idea about and the other is the guy from Galar.

Julian doesn't know this muscular guy from Galar's name but he did make an impression on Julian with his pokemon, Julian looked at him to see if he will step in or not.

But he didn't he let the other trainer step into a battle, this battle didn't last long at all as Elesa destroyed the random trainer and sent him out of the gym disappointed and embarrassed.

Else once again looked at the audience area, she first looked at the muscular guy then at Julian, the muscular guy also looked at Julian and smiled.

"Are you going, I can wait"

He said with a grin on his face.

Julian "You can go, I don't plan to battle today, I am just here to watch"

"Well then, its time for me to win another badge for myself"

The muscular guy said and got off his seat and immediately jumped down over the rails and into the battlefield.

He is quite big for a human, standing more than 6 feet tall and massive muscles, he was intimidating if people didn't look at his face, which is that of a kid.

"My name is Glen and I have come all the way from Galar to defeat Julian and you are just one of the obstacles I have to go through"

The muscular man addressed his name and took his position on the battlefield.

Else glared at this man and didn't reply to his comment, many challengers came and challenged her but very few came close to defeating her, and even among them some of them only made through, with Julian's challenge to the whole world, gym leaders from Elesa's level had to level up their performance to battle their challengers.

If they kept to the old standards, many trainers would have qualified for the Unova League but this time that cannot happen, they cannot allow trainers who are not good enough to enter the league, in the past, the gym leaders always went easy and many rookie trainers made it to the league and felt very proud of themselves because of it.

The referee stepped into the battlefield and started to talk about the rules of the battle, it was a normal pokemon battle rule with only the challenger allowed to switch pokemon while the gym leader couldn't, and it will be a three vs three pokemon battle.

Julian kept his eyes on Glen as he claimed that he will be the one to defeat Julian, Julian has seen what his pokemon can do but it was never pushed to the edge nor was Glen, anyone could tell he is a strong trainer by the performance his Grapploct gave, but what was his limit, Julian wanted to know.

And who else could do it better than Elesa who is one of the strongest gym leaders in Unova, but inexperience and power, she has had many battles during her whole career, even though she looks young, she has fought many battles, her rivals also being one of the Elite Four Caitlin, she even has some history with Cynthia and have battled before.

So Julian doesn't underestimate her, during his whole journey his girlfriend Cynthia is the only one who he considered the strongest after him, he has not met anyone that could beat his cheat, until then Cynthia will always be the second strongest to him, so someone who has battled with Cynthia before and is recognized by her, Julian won't underestimate.

Glen threw his Pokeball up in the air and sent out his first pokemon, as the pokemon landed on the battlefield, Julian was surprised by seeing it as this was a pokemon he has never seen before, a white bird pokemon that is holding a massive leek that looks like a sword.

He was fascinated by how this pokemon looked and how serious its eyes are, he could tell this pokemon was born to battle.
