Chapter 702 - Elesa Vs Julian (2)

Elesa felt the pressure and she didn't know what to do, she could get comfortable and got back to her old style in which she will be much more comfortable and it would be easy for her to battle but she knows it will be a disaster if she does that.

Elesa "Not yet, Eelektrik, use Giga Drain"

Elesa isn't going to go down so easily and having the stronger and faster pokemon, she has some advantages over Julian's Drilbur, her attacks are faster and hit harder.

Elesa's Eelektrik blasted a green beam at Drilbur which he couldn't dodge, before he could even retreat back into the ground he got caught by it and stopped him in his tracks.

Soon the green beam started to sap his strength and Eelektrik started to heal itself, Elesa was surprised by this, she didn't expect her move to actually his Drilbur, she had expected Drilbur to escape the attack easily but he didn't.

Elesa 'Is it injured more than I expected?'

She thought as Drilbur was too slow to dodge that attack.

Elesa 'If this is true, maybe I can win this'

She thought and looked at Julian and saw no reaction in his eyes, they were just staring at the battlefield as if they didn't care about the current circ.u.mstances.

Elesa 'No, I have to focus, I shouldn't ease down just because the opponent is weaker'

She thought and watched her Eelektrik sap the energy out of Drilbur, Drilbur seems to be struggling to get out of the Giga Drain, he was a little too weak for him to do so, he needs more power and his little body cannot deliver the power he needs.

Elesa wondered what Julian is thinking, he is not taking any action against her attack, he didn't seem to be bothered about it at all.

Drilbur tried to struggle a lot harder than before, if this continues he will definitely faint but he won't go down so easy, if he loses he will get made fun of by Boldore and it will be really embarrassing.

As Drilbur was pushed to the edge he started to glow as the limit he was stuck to finally broke and he started to evolve, Julian was waiting for it, he knew the Giga Drain will put a lot of pressure on Drilbur and it will be the perfect stimulation.

As Drilbur started to glow his size started to increase, his head grew bigger and a sharp pointy thing grew over his head, his claws also became much bigger and pointer, they also gained pointy blades like structure on top of them.

Soon the light faded away and Excadrill was finally revealed to everyone, he is massive now compared to his previous size, his claws looked menacing and the metal horn on top of his head looked very dangerous.

Now that Drilbur has finally evolved into Excadrill he is much powerful, his body is filled with immense physical power, this allowed him to shake off out of the Giga Drain easily.

Elesa was shocked by this development, she realized that Julian had expected his Drilbur to evolve, he just used her pokemon's attack to simulate Drilbur's evolution, she realized how good Julian was with using his opponent's attack for his own advantage.

Julian 'System, what moves did Excadrill learn?'

He asked the system as pokemons usually gain powerful moves after they evolve.

System 'Excadrill has learned the move Horn Drill'

Julian 'Nice, a one-hit move but it can be dodged easily, I need to find a way to land it without them noticing'

Julian "Now, let's finish this, use Sand Storm"

Hearing Julian, Excadrill roared and created a massive Sand Storm that covered the whole battlefield and blocked everyone's vision, Eelektrik tried to move around the but Sand Storm was too hard on it, small flying stones hit it continuously while Excadrill being a ground/steel he wasn't affected by it.

Julian "Now, use Horn Drill"

With no visual Eelektrik cannot see from where Excadrill will come and hit it, its only option is to counter with a wide-area attack hoping it will hit Excadrill and stop him in his tracks but Eelektrik doesn't know any moves that will do so, the one that it knows are electric types and they have no effect on Excadrill.

Elesa "Eelektrik try to move around"

Elesa commanded but her Eelektrik couldn't hear her because it was getting assaulted by a lot of small stones and its surround was covered with a loud noise, her voice didn't go through it, Excadrill started to spin very fast after connecting the claws in his arms and the horn on top of his head and turned himself into a living drill and charged at Eelektrik.

He locked on to Eelektrik and landed the finishing move. Since Horn Drill is a sure one hit move, Julian doesn't have to worry about this battle continuing any further, even the toughest pokemon will go down after getting hit by it.

Excadrill ended the Sand Storm and stood in the middle of the battlefield while his opponent was on the ground completely out cold, just a few minutes ago this Eelektrik was the one who was a lot stronger than its opponent but after Drilbur evolved into Excadrill it turned into a completely opposite scenario.

Excadrill became too powerful for Eelektrik, it didn't stand a chance against Julian's Excadrill.
