Chapter 735 - Receptionist

As Julian entered the very expensive hotel that seemed like it belonged to the kings of the past, as he looked around he saw the whole entrance and the main hall is lit up in a golden light, its because the floor is made of white marble and the pillars and walls of the main hall are filled with mirrors which are reflecting the yellowish golden light from the massive chandelier on the top.

Julian was impressed by this, this was his first time in such a beautiful hotel, the more he looked the more he realized that this place was actually a palace before it was turned into this beautiful hotel.

He was glad that they didn't try to change the structure of this place while renovating it or it would have taken away the beauty of the palace.

Julian walked towards the receptionist who is standing behind the reception area, the receptionist standing here is very beautiful, comparable to his girlfriends, he wondered why would such a beautiful girl work as a receptionist.

Julian 'Maybe the pay is very high'

He thought and approached her, the receptionist saw a young man walking towards her, she checked him out and looked at the clothes he is wearing, they looked dirty, his shoes have dirt on it and his hair is a little messy, but she was not so quick to judge, even though the clothes were dirty they are branded, she, of course, couldn't see his face because of the mask but those red eyes did charm her.

Receptionist 'He looks like someone who traveled for a long time, his clothes indicate that he has money but these brands are not too expensive either, he either thinks he has enough money to get a room here or is actually visiting someone'

She already came up with a scenario but she didn't act on it, she knows that in business like this she cannot act recklessly and ignore someone, even if a beggar walks in, she has to be respectful and ask them what they need before coming up to a decision.

Julian noticed that the receptionist is looking at him and trying to study him, he didn't mind it at all, instead, he wanted to know what she actually thought about him after absorbing him.

Julian stood right in front of her and looked her into her eyes.

Julian "So what do you think?"

He asked.

Receptionist "Excuse me?"

Julian "I noticed you were observing me, so what's your first opinion of me"

Receptionist "Sir....."

The receptionist is stunned, she didn't expect this young man to come at her just like that, she didn't expect him to catch her observing him and the aura he gave off was very oppressive and her heart started to beat faster.

Julian "No need to feel pressured, just tell me what was your first impression and no lying"

The receptionist felt like she needs to answer Julian even though she didn't want to, his presence was just too much for her and she finally gave in.

She told Julian how she felt when he first walked in, after listening to her Julian is a little surprised, he didn't expect this receptionist to be so good at observing, Julian was in search for talents and this woman could be a good candidate for his new little faction that he has created.

The Omni Guardian is still a very small group and they don't hold to much power in the world, he needs someone to look after them so Julian has been searching, this young woman in front of him can be a good candidate but he won't jump in, he decided to watch her for now.

Julian "I see, you are really good, how long have you been working here?"

Receptionist "I just started working here, I wanted to be a detective but my family needed money and working here paid a lot more so I joined here"

As the receptionist gave her an answer she was surprised by her answer as well, she didn't know why she revealed her personal life to this strange man who hasn't even shown his face or revealed his name to her.

Julian is also surprised. She wanted to be a detective but decided to work as a receptionist for a seven-star hotel because the pay was much better than a detective, he understands her situation, unlike him, she doesn't seem to have any connection to latch on and have an easy life.

Julian "I see, here you go, I want a room for a few days"

Julian said and passed his ID to her.

The receptionist became a little submissive in front of Julian, she couldn't look him in his eyes as she felt very vulnerable, she felt as if Julian can see right through her.

She looked at his ID and was stunned, she couldn't believe what she was seeing right now, this ID in her hand belongs to the Julian, the strongest pokemon trainer, she looked back at Julian and looked him in his eyes, a little excited as her heart started to beat a lot faster than before.

Which young woman in their teens and early twenties didn't have a crush on Julian, even women in their 30s wanted to be with him, and now the same Julian is standing right before her, she didn't know what to do.

Julian "What's your name?"

Julian asked.

Receptionist "Sasha Blake"

She answered nervously, she didn't know what Julian wants, she even started to have some wild fantasies running through her mind as he felt her legs go weak a little, she quickly got rid of the thoughts and looked at Julian while blushing.

Julian "Hmm, nice name, are you willing to leave this job if you get good income and do things that are similar to detective work?"

He asked. Sasha was surprised by the question but she didn't even think for a second before nodding her head, she always wanted to be a detective but then she realized that deceptive work doesn't pay much and she needs to take care of her family which is actually very big, she has a mother, father, grandma, grandpa, and five younger siblings.

Her father's work didn't pay much and their family struggled a lot for Sasha to get her education, seeing her parents struggle to earn money and take care of such a big family, she gave up on her dreams and decided to take the receptionist job.

With her looks, the hotel owner didn't even think for a second before assigning her the job, who wouldn't want to be greeted by a very beautiful lady.

If the money is good and enough for her family, she would really want to do work similar to a detective's work.

Julian "I see, I will be keeping my eyes on you, if I think you are qualified, you will get a special job"

Sasha was very excited once she heard Julian, now she really wanted to impress Julian no matter what, she quickly put his name in the database and gave him the most luxuries room in the room with a discount on top of that.

Julian smiled and nodded at her and took the key and walked away, even though Sasha couldn't see Julian's smile she knew he smiled at her as she watched his eyes.
