Chapter 841 - Following The Two

N didn't take Alder's words lightly and is really pissed, in his view Alder is the biggest hurdle he has to get through to achieve his dream.

N "Today is the day I will defeat you and show you who the strongest trainer really is"

He said and suddenly jumped down, his Vanilluxe created an ice slide for him as he slid down to the ground and stood right in front of Alder and Drayden blocking their path.

Alder "Boy, you are being used, you don't know what the outside world is like"

N "No need to explain yourselves, I have seen and experienced what you humans do to the pokemons, I will now take the matter into my own hands and deal with it"

Alder "I see, there is no way I can get through you, I will have to take you down then"

Alder said and signaled his Volcarona to step in, his Volcarona flared its wings and suddenly increased the temperature of the area melting away the ice that trapped Alder and Drayden, once their foot got loose Alder stepped in to take on N.

Alder "Gym leader Drayden, stay behind you don't have any pokemons to fight for you right now"

Alder said.

Drayden didn't say anything and stepped back he knew when the step back and when to take charge, right now he doesn't have his pokemons by his side, all of them have been knocked out and the ones that have gained their consciousness are not fully recovered yet.

N and Alder face off against each other, while Alder has a lot of confidence in his stance, N is very nervous.

He has battled Alder before and lost pretty badly, that is when he realized that he needs to be a lot stronger to take down Alder, he then also lost against an unknown trainer a few months ago that made him realize that he needs to work even harder.

And now the time has come to test his skill and see how much he has improved during these few months.

Alder "Boy, make your move and don't disappoint me this time"

Alder made the declaration as his Volcarona took its stance, N is nervous but he is ready to battle Alder.

N "Vanilluxe return"

N called Vanilluxe back to its Pokeball and sent out a pokemon he thinks that could take on Alder's Volcarona.

N "Carracosta, you are up"

N sent out Carracosta as it is four times resistant to fire type attacks, the perfect pokemon to fight against a fire type pokemon like Volcarona.

Julian who was inside the gym saw everything that was happening right now outside the gym, with Gengar acting as his eyes he saw everything, as he kept an eye on what is happening outside the gym, he is also following Zinzolin and Colress right now.

He hid at a corner when Zinzolin and Colress entered the gym and watched them carefully, he heard about this DNA splicer and wondered what it is, he could easily stop them but he really wanted to figure out what this DNA splicer really is so he decided to follow Zinzolin and Colress.

He remembered Colress as he had met him before and told him to f.u.c.k off and not cause trouble in the city.

He didn't expect to see this person again, he thought that Colress would leave Team Plasma after their encounter but he was wrong, but he didn't think much about it, it looks like even Zinzolin is after the money and with his status, the money that he is being given must be very high.

No wonder Colress would want to stick around. If a real leader of Team Plasma is so rich why wouldn't a rogue scientist like Colress would not stick around, with so much money he can easily fund Colress's research.

Julian then started to follow the two of them deeper into the gym to find what they are after while still keeping an eye out on what is happening outside the gym.

He was surprised to see Drayden being taken down by the Shadow Triad, he then was once again surprised after seeing Alder come and protect Drayden and take out the Shadow Triad.

After then he noticed N also arriving in the scene and challenging Alder, Julian was really excited by seeing the current development and he wanted to witness the battle between N and Alder right in front of his eyes but too bad he had to follow the two intruders.

Julian then found himself under the gym where Zinzolin and Colress led him to, they both stopped right in front of a massive door made of rock, the door was actually very huge and Julian was surprised by seeing it.

He didn't expect there would be such a thing hiding under the Opelucid gym.

He looked at the door and noticed that it was carved with dragon type pokemons, and right in the middle where three pokemons, the pokemon on the right was Reshiram, the pokemon on the left was Zekrom and the pokemon in the middle was Kyurem.

This is the first time Julian has ever seen an image of Kyurem and looking at the carving, he could tell that it was indeed a very incomplete looking pokemon.

Unlike Zekrom and Reshiram, the Kyurem didn't have fully grown wings, it was as if they had been chopped.

Julian 'No wonder the legends depicted Kyurem as an incomplete dragon, the one that is looking for something to fulfill itself'

Julian thought to himself as he watched what Zinzolin and Colress are up to.
