Chapter 889 - Fatal Mistake

The pokemons didn't know what to say after Gengar's pitch.

Gengar "Come on, you guys should have someone who you want to send something"

Gengar said while looking at the group in front of him, the idea of being a delivery con artist came to him because he was doing it for Julian, not delivering a letter or an object but a person.

But he thought that he could use this method to con some pokemons.

Cinccino "Actually I have something I have which could be delivered"

The Cinccino said.

Hearing Cinccino, Gengar smiled, he knew this would work because most pokemons do want to meet their pack members even if they follow a trainer, the feeling to meet their family or previous caretaker might not be big but they still remember them.

Even Gengar remembers his old friends back in Kanto before he was taken away by Julian. Whenever Julian goes back to Kanto, Gengar goes and pays them a visit.

He knew that some of these pokemons might feel the same, this might be an asshole move in the view of humans but to a pokemon, it means nothing, they might be intelligent but they are not as intelligent as humans.

Their emotions are not as complex as humans either, if someone is good to them, they feel good, if someone does bad to them, they do bad, they don't look into the ulterior motives of people or pokemon.

To Gengar, he is doing nothing but profiting from other pokemons.

Gengar "Sure, I will deliver anything, no matter how big it is"

He said.

Cinccino nodded and took out a shiny stone and passed it to Gengar.

Cinccino "I want you to pass this to my little sister, it has been a year since I saw her. My trainer captured me, and I even evolved, but I still miss my little sister, I hope that this Shiny Stone will help her become stronger."

Cinccino said and passed the shiny stone to Gengar.

Cinccino "I found this shiny stone and held on to it, wondering if I ever got the chance to meet her again, I don't know if it's possible to meet her, but if you can deliver this to her and pass my message, I will be very grateful"

Gengar looked at Cinccino and felt bad.

She said and took out a lot of berries from its fur and handed it over to Gengar.

He thought and took the berries and the shiny stone from Cinccino.

Gengar "Fine where can I find your sister?"

He asked.

Cinccino soon told him the last time she saw her sister, Gengar then realized that he had to put on his detective glasses to track down this Cinccino's sister, it's been a year.

Gengar really f.u.c.k.i.e.d up, he didn't use his brain and got blinded by greed and now he has been put in a very emotional situation which he cannot get out of, he already took the shiny stone and berries, luckily for him, the number of berries that he got was a lot.

Cinccinos can store a lot of things inside their fur, Gengar got lucky but he will have to work for it, he will have to find Cinccino's sister who could still be just a Minccino or might have evolved.

Gengar familiarized himself with Cinccino's aura and left with a disappointed face, he could have just followed Julian's order and bring Ghetsis to the league but no, he had to be a little greedy and try to con someone.

Gengar might be naughty but he has a soft spot as well, Cinccino's story really touched him.

He left the mall and decided to first deliver Ghetsis to the league before he goes off to find the Cinccino's sister.

He didn't waste any time and left Roshan city and headed straight towards Humilau city, this city is very close to Roshan city so it really didn't take Gengar too long.

When he arrived in front of the league headquarters gate, he saw a few guards guarding the gate with pokemons and guns, he didn't mind them and just opened his portal.

The guards and pokemons who were guarding the entrance suddenly noticed a portal opening in front of them and were scared, the pokemons growled and took a stance, ready to attack if anything hostile comes out from the portal.

One of the guards informed the security inside while others pointed their guns at the portal.

Gengar didn't mind their response and just tossed Ghetsis out of the portal and into the ground, the guards were surprised by this, they saw an old tied-up man being thrown out of the portal.

One of the guards slowly approached the tied-up old man with his pokemon and checked on the old man, he turned the old man on his back and realized that it was none other than Ghetsis.

Ghetsis was pretty famous by now, as soon as the league got the information about his deeds, a region-wide arrest warrant was issued for Ghetsis and if he resisted arrest, authorities were asked to eliminate him on spot.

By now every league agent and worker knew who Ghetsis was, the league worked very fast, even Ghetsis's photo and name had been plastered all across the new channels in regions that are governed by the league.

The guard quickly informed the other that it was Ghetsis which caused a huge commotion.
