Chapter 906 - Round 1 Begin

Julian decided to leave the grand stadium and go to the north side stadium where he will be having his very first battle, his opponent seems to be someone random and he has no idea who he is, the trainer seems to be from Unova as well.

Julian looked at this trainer's record and was really not impressed by this trainer, he realized that this will be a quick on, well he doesn't expect to meet a strong trainer so soon, there are thousands of trainers here and for him to encounter a very strong trainer at the very beginning is quite rare.

Julian made his way towards the north stadium, just like before when he got there, he saw a lot of people standing outside waiting for the league to start officially, he walked to the side of the stadium and made his way into the waiting room, only an hour is left before the battles officially start and people are already getting restless.

When he entered his waiting room, the trainers who were already inside by surprised by seeing him, there are multiple waiting rooms inside the stadium and a number of trainers are allocated a waiting room to use.

Julian made his way towards the empty couch and sat down while looking at the tv playing the same concert he was watching a few minutes before in the grand stadium, there is still a lot of time for him to chill around.

The trainers who were inside the waiting room got a little tense but seeing that Julian was not bothering them, they calmed down and focused on preparing themselves for their upcoming battle, luckily for them none of them were facing Julian in the first round.

Julian waited and an hour passed by, Julian watched as the video switched up on the TV and the announcer took his place in his room and started to hype up the massive audience, and soon the first round began, Julian sat down and watched as he is not participating in the first round.

Few trainers from the waiting room headed out as their names were called, they seemed nervous and wondered if they will be able to win this battle, it is very clear that a trainer can only have one loss in their record, they just hope that even if they lose this would be their last loss in the league.

The first round began and the battles started, trainers battled each other and some lost, some won and some ended up in a draw. When it comes to a draw, it is a very gray area because not many battles end up in a draw, if a trainer has a draw and a loss in their record, they will have to battle again with some with the same record and if there is no one there with the same record, they will get eliminated.

The trainers who went out to battle came back as the first round ended, some of them were very happy as they won, some of them were not so happy as their first loss took place and they hoped that they won't have to lose again.

The second round was about to begin and a worker came in and called out names of the next trainers that will be participating in the second round, Julian's name was also called along with the others.

He finally got up from the couch and headed towards the battlefield, as he walked out of the entrance, the crowd went crazy seeing him, it was time for Julian to take action and people are ready for him.

He headed towards his allocated battlefield and waited for his opponent to make their way to the battlefield as well, just like Julian many trainers walked out of the entrance and took their place on their own allocated battlefield, these small battlefields were enough for a single battle and the whole stadium could fit multiple trainers simultaneously as they battle.

Julian looked around as he watched trainers starting their battle already, he looked around to find his opponent but to his surprise, he couldn't find him at all, the referee allocated to his battle was also confused and checked his watch, time was already running out and this trainer is still not showing his face.

The crowd started to get restless and booed, they wanted to see Julian battle but without an opponent, he couldn't

The time ran out and the referee decided to call this battle and end it.

Referee "The winner is trainer Julian as his opponent is nowhere to be seen"

After the referee's call, the crowd booed even louder, they were really mad that they couldn't see Julian battle, their boos even affected other trainers on the battlefield and it caused them to lose focus and some of them lost because of this.

Julian sighed and made his way back to the waiting room and waved at his fans before disappearing into the stadium.

The boos and cheers were still mixed, the boos were for the trainer who didn't show up and the cheers were for Julian, everyone speculated that the trainer was so scared to face Julian that he didn't show up at all and it was indeed true.

When the trainer found out that he would be facing Julian in the first round, he lost all hope, he didn't want to get destroyed so he decided to skip this round and take that first loss, it doesn't matter if he shows up or not, he will lose.

The trainer decided to take the loss without battling so that his pokemons are still in their best shape for his next match, in theory, this trainer took the best option available to him, this might ruin his reputation a little but he now has a better chance of winning his next battle.
