Chapter 917 - To The Final Rounds

Julian walked into the battlefield and was greeted by his fans louder than ever, he waved at them and took his position on the battlefield, and waited for his opponent to arrive, Cameron soon entered the battlefield and took his position.

The referee soon started the battle without much wait, Julian sent out his Volcarona and waited for Cameron to choose his pokemon, Cameron sent out a Samurott on the battlefield.

A good choice to battle against a fire type like Volcarona but this won't matter on the battlefield, as soon as the referee gave the call to start.

Cameron started to battle by blasting a Hydro Pump at Volcarona but Volcarona dodged it and then used Signal Beam, Samurott moved out of the way as it dodged the Signal Beam but Volcarona charged at Samurott using Flare Blitz and crashed into Samurott and sent it flying backward.

And then finished it off with a powerful Flamethrower ending the first round, Cameron sighed expecting this to happen.

Too bad he couldn't last long as the same fate occurred to his other two pokemons as well, his Swanna got one shot, he then sent out his Lucario which did a lot better job and keeping away from Volcarona with its swiftness but soon it got hit by a massive Fire Blast and got knocked out.

And just like that Julian entered the top 8, the finals.

The crowd cheered in Julian's victory and bid him farewell as he made his way out of the battlefield, he then made his way towards the north stadium where the other battles are taking place, he still wants to see the battle between Kelly and Dhrago.

Julian got there right on time because the battle between Yesh and Ramone just ended, Yesh, of course, winning and advancing forward to the final round as well.

Julian got himself a private room and waited for the battle to start.

And from what he could see, people were excited about it as this one is a big battle, two very strong trainers are about to clash on this battlefield so how could they not be excited.

Even Julian is excited.

The announcer soon started to hype up the crowd and introduce the first trainer, Kelly has proven herself to be a very formidable trainer, she has not lost a single pokemon this whole league which only a few have done and her opponent is one of them.

Kelly walked in waving at the crowd as they cheered for her, she looked around enjoying the cheers she is getting from them, she then took her place on the battlefield and took a deep breath trying to relieve her nervousness.

She knows that this battle for hers will be the hardest one she will ever fight before coming across Julian, she has seen how powerful Dhrago is and how destructive his pokemons are in nature, if she makes a single mistake her pokemons might get seriously hurt.

The announcer then introduced Dhrago, he has earned a reputation of being one of the strongest trainers to ever step foot in a league just like Julian, and his ways of battle brought him a lot of fame, as well as a lot of critic from people all over the world, but Dhrago didn't care about it.

He walked into the battlefield with a grin on his face as his eyes looked at Kelly as he anticipates some resistance from this opponent of his.

Dhrago also took his position on the battlefield and looked at the referee and told him to start the battle.

The referee nervously nodded as he looked at the fierce eyes of Dhrago, this man could intimidate anyone, the referee then started to explain the rules of the battle, he then asked both of them to choose their pokemons.

Dhrago laughed and sent out his pokemon first, he didn't care if he was at a disadvantage, he was confident in brutalizing his opponent, he sent out his Hitmonlee again, during this whole league, he never used any other pokemon other than Hitmonlee and it has shown how powerful it really it.

Kelly looks at Hitmonlee and takes a deep breath, this pokemon has been putting fear in every other trainer that was about to battle Dhrago.

She then makes her choice and sends out her Alakazam, her Alakazam takes the battlefield and stares at the Hitmonlee who is kicking randomly in the air but its every kick seems to be generating a lot of power, each kick is shaking the air trembling around its legs.

Now that both trainers have chosen their pokemon, the referee starts the battle.

Kelly made the move first as there is no way she is allowing Dhrago to make a move and put himself in an advantageous position.

Kelly "Use Future Sight"

Kelly made sure that she gets a good powerful hit on Hitmonlee and decided to set up a Future Sight.

Dhrago "Use Double Kick"

Hitmonlee charged at Alakazam and tried to kick Alakazam with a dropkick, using both of its feet at the same time but before it could even touch Alakazam, Alakazam teleported away from its spot and appeared on the other end of the battlefield.

Hitmonlee fell on the ground but quickly spun its legs and got back to its feet under a second.

Kelly "Use Psyshock"

Alakazam blasted a beam of psychic energy which has the properties of electricity, it zapped through the air and tried to hit Hitmonlee but it easily moved out of the way, its strong legs made it very fast.

The only way to defeat this Hitmonlee is to take out its legs and make them useless on the battlefield.
