Chapter 949: The Finals

The Incident about an assassin breaking into Julian's room spread like wildfire the next day, the also identified the assassin to be Dhrago as well, this caused an uproar and people were furious.

They were also glad that nothing happened to Julian, they were actually surprised that the person who got hurt was not Julian but Dhrago who got his leg broken by Julian in self-defense.

This violence was involved, Julian could get in trouble but knowing who Julian is and with the intent of self-defense behind this incident, the court didn't bother to trouble Julian and just put Dhrago in a hospital where his broken leg with either be attached by metal bars or he will get amputated depending on his condition.

Since he was the assassin no one cared about him, the police also found CCTV footage of Dhrago climbing up the hotel using the pipelines which further helped Julian's case, the rest was handled by Julian's lawyer so there was nothing to worry about. Julian just needs to worry about his battle right now.

The story about how a jealous insane person called Dhrago tried to kill Julian after losing to him in the semifinals of the Unova league spread all over the world, luckily for the underworld the news stations didn't find out Dhrago's real identity or the hidden underworld would have been brought to light.

Julian also got texts from his fiancées as they were worried about him, he made sure that they don't have to worry and he is fine, even though they know that nothing could happen to him, they were still concerned as they loved him a lot.

Julian ignored all the other news and focused on his upcoming battle which is up against Yesh which is the day after tomorrow.

The day of the final is here and people are going crazy, they are excited, some of them couldn't even sleep properly due to the excitement, people are talking only about this battle till this minute.

They cannot hide the excitement as they are about to witness another massive battle, this is the finals of the biggest league till yet and no one ones to miss it, even the criminals were allowed to watch this battle in their jail cells.

Julian woke up as the sun rays hit his face, he got off his bed and stretched his arms, and looked at the clock in the room.

Julian "I still have two hours"

He said and yawned, he quickly finished his morning routine and gave his pokemons some lite breakfast so they don't feel sick during the battle, once he and his pokemons were refreshed, he made his way towards the grand stadium.

Like every other big-league battle, the grand stadium is surrounded by people from all over the world but this time, the crowd is even larger, even the stadium has enough seats for all of them, the crowd decided to pay for tickets just to stand and watch the battle from the nosebleeds.

Julian smiled and made his way into the grand stadium through the trainer's gate, this pathway is only accessible to staff and trainers, Julian greeted the guard with a smile and walked in.

Once he was inside his waiting room, he sat down on the couch and smiled, he didn't expect this at all, when he challenged the world, he expected he would face someone completely unknown and very strong in the finals.

He did face strong opponents and he was surprised by how strong they really were, especially Glen, he actually pushed four of Julian's pokemon to the limits, Julian wondered how strong those pokemons in Glen's care will become in the future.

He then thought about his current opponent, the weird boy he met at a random pokemon park who asked him to become his teacher and teach him how to battle, Julian never expected he would become a teacher but he was proud of his student.

He doesn't show it to anyone but he is really proud of Yesh, seeing Yesh grow stronger by every day right in front of his eyes was surprised and thrilling at the same time, Julian had never seen someone so talented when it came to training pokemon.

Yesh's ability to pick up things and teach his pokemons was so rapid and fast, even Julian was surprised by it, it was as if Yesh is born to do it, he is blessed by god itself, if it was not for Julian's past life experience and his mastery over combat, he would never be at where he is now.

Omniforce helped Julian's pokemon a lot but they didn't do much, they only strengthened their muscles and gave them a boost, it was all Julian's knowledge of fighting that was passed down to his pokemons for them to be so formidable on the battlefield.

If Yesh had Julian's experience he would become as good as Julian, he will only struggle in the latter part of his journey where his pokemons would reach levels that are hard to overcome.

Julian on the other hand never suffered from this because of Omniforce, this is where it was the most helpful for his pokemons, the Omniforce helped them to overcome the levels at the later stage of their life.

The only time they will really struggle is to break through the level 100 barrier, this level is very hard for even his pokemons to overcome, only a few of his pokemons have overcome this level, seven to be exact.

Infernape, Snorlax, Gengar, Electivire, Gyarados, Heatran, Venusaur, only these seven have overcome the level 100 barrier and stepped into another realm of power, the others are still struggling, even some of his Hoenn pokemons have reached level 100 but they are still not close to breaking the barrier.

Julian wondered if Yesh will ever be able to take his pokemon to their limit, if one day he is able to do it, he would want to battle it with his own level 100 pokemon to see the extent of Yesh.

Julian then closed his eyes and emptied his mind, he stayed like this for an hour before finally opening his eyes.

Julian "It's time I guess".
