Chapter 954: Julian Vs Yesh, The Finals (5)

Yesh's choice is indeed a good one but he is still worried about Julian's Darmanitan, he will have to find a way to counter that explosion.

Yesh realized that the fire from the explosion is not the only problem, he will have to find a way to overcome that energy blast that comes along with the fire.

Once Yesh's Chandelure entered the battlefield, it looked at Darmanitan and flared its flames that are on its arms.

Yesh "Use Shadow Balls"

Yesh commanded and Chandelure suddenly created multiple Shadow Balls and started to spin them around it causing them to move faster and faster, soon these balls came charging at Darmanitan at very high speed.

This was clearly Julian's own technique, his Gengar loves to use these a lot and it looks like Yesh copied, his Chandelure cannot make as many Shadow Balls as Gengar could at its level but it was still good, they are fast and hard to dodge.

While Julian's Darmanitan is indeed impressive, he really doesn't have that good of a Defense or Special Defense making him a little vulnerable to such powerful and fast attacks.

Julian "Use Protect"

There is no way Darmanitan could dodge all of them with his speed not he could counter all of them at the same time as well, Darmanitan quickly set up a force field in front of him and let the Shadow Balls slam onto it.

The Shadow Balls did their damage one after the other, every time they landed they would crack the forcefield before one of them finally shattered it.

Julian "Now, Brick Break explosion"

There were still some Shadow Balls heading towards him and he has no way to counter them other than use his explosions again, his fire type moves won't work as they can only destroy one Shadow Ball at a time and the rest would hit him as soon as he tries to counter.

The only option is to take them all out at once with an explosion, Darmanitan pulled back his arm and punched towards the Shadow Ball, even though fighting type moves would pass right through these Shadow Balls, Darmanitan is not using this move how it is supposed to be used.

He combusted his arm causing a chain reaction within the energy of the Brick Break, as Darmanitan's arm went into the first Shadow Ball, the energy exploded from inside and caused a massive explosion that took out all the Shadow Balls in one go.

Yesh "Quick, absorb"

Yesh ordered. His Chandelure got a little closer to blast radius and came in contact with the high-temperature fire and activated its ability, Flash Fire.

Chandelure's firepower increased by 50% but it also got hit by the energy blast as well, sending it flipping through the air, luckily it has a decent defense and it could take these kinds of blasts if it's a little far away from the contact point or the beginning of the explosion.

Julian saw this and realized what Yesh was up to, he realized that this can be very troublesome if Yesh continued to do this, Chandelure is already a very powerful Special Attacker, rising its firepower every time by 50% can be very dangerous for Julian and his Darmanitan.

Julian 'Interesting, since you want to do it like this, then my Darmanitan will have to get closer I guess'

Julian thought and made his move.

Julian "Use, Rollout and don't stop"

Darmanitan started to roll just like Julian commanded, his whole body started to spin rapidly as rock energy covered him, he rolled on the rocky battleground that is cracked, charred, and destroyed by his explosions, he then started to use the pits on the battlefield and launched himself up in the air, aiming at Chandelure.

Seeing the incoming attack Chandelure moved to the side and dodged it but Darmanitan didn't stop, he went back to the ground and used the pits to continue rolling around and flying towards Chandelure, every second Darmanitan's speed kept increasing, and the power behind the Rollout also increased as well.

It was becoming increasingly dangerous for Chandelure by every second, now if it gets hit by this Rollout it could get knocked out, it was fully charged up to the limit.

Now Darmanitan was just a ball moving throughout the battlefield and taking air in a blur.

Yesh realized the danger of this move and decided to put an end to Darmanitan's momentum.

Yesh "Use Fire Blast"

Chandelure dodged another Rollout attempt from Darmanitan and got ready to attack, it started to charge up a powerful Fire Blast and was waiting for Darmanitan to come straight at it, hitting a moving target is hard but hitting a moving target that is coming right towers you is very easy.

As Darmanitan used one of the pits and took air while aiming at Chandelure, Chandelure sent the Fire Blast towards Darmanitan, Darmanitan, of course, cannot change direction in mid-air and this was the perfect time to strike.

Darmanitan's speed made it so that the contact between them will happen in a second, but that is all the time Darmanitan and Julian needed.

It then crashed hard into the stadium's defense forcefield and crashed on the ground hard.

The crowd went crazy as they felt their hearts race from the force of this explosion, even the battlefield shattered into multiple pieces.

As the smoke cleared up, everyone could see Chandelure on the ground, knocked out cold.

Referee "Chandelure is unable to battle, Darmanitan wins"

Yesh was in shock, he didn't expect this at all.

Yesh 'So much power, no wonder he said that Darmanitan is his most dangerous pokemon!' He thought as he remembered once asking Julian about his pokemon and which one is the strongest, Julian didn't say who is the strongest but he did tell Yesh that Darmanitan who was just a Darumaka back then as his most dangerous pokemon.

He then looked at Julian's Darmanitan and was surprised as he noticed that Darmanitan looks completely different right now, he looks like a stone statue.
