Chapter 975: Saving The Garchomp

The city was in chaos right now because of the rampaging Garchomp, all roads leading to the Prism tower are blocked and the people who are living near the Prism tower and informed to stay at home.

Julian and Sycamore finally arrived in front of the Prism tower and were surprised by the current situation, Garchomp is on top of the Prism tower and a few meters from the Garchomp is a boy in a blue jacket trying to approach Garchomp.

Julian was really not surprised by seeing this, he has seen Ash risking his life multiple times to save his and other pokemon alike, but he is still worried about Ash.

Sycamore "Mr. Julian, you should help Ash!"

Sycamore exclaimed as he was worried about Ash.

Julian "We should observe, for now, it can be dangerous to step up now, the Garchomp is cornered, it could lash out of we step in right now"

Julian said and looked as Ash was slowly making his way towards Garchomp.

Julian [Gengar, be on alert, if things go bad, rush in]

Julian informed and waited to see what happens, soon the situation changed as Ash was able to get close to the Garchomp and wrap his arms around its neck, the little blue frog pokemon used some sticky foam around its neck to pin down Garchomp and Pikachu used Iron Tail to split the energy ring around Garchomp's neck to free it from its pain.

Garchomp seems to have calmed down and Julian sighed seeing this, he couldn't have done a better job, but as soon as the situation calmed down, the edge of the platform where Pikachu was standing suddenly collapsed.

Pikachu suddenly started to fall down, seeing this Ash jumped right after him without a second thought, this was clearly a suicidal move, falling from such height will cause instant death.

Julian [Gengar, now]

Seeing that Ash was falling down very fast, Julian's Gengar made his move, he shot out of Julian's shadow and rushed up the tower at an insane speed, and was able to grab both Ash and his Pikachu, as soon as Gengar made the save, a pokemon blazing in fire shot by them.

It looks like this pokemon was also trying to save Ash and Pikachu but Gengar got there before, Julian looked at this blazing pokemon that made its way towards the roof and stood next to a man in a weird flashy costume.

Julian "Isn't that Mega Blaziken?"

Julian asked himself, Sycamore also heard this and looked at the rooftop and saw the man in flashy costume and the Mega Blaziken disappear.

Julian "Who was that person?"

Sycamore "I think it's the Vigilante called Blaziken Mask"

Sycamore said.

Julian "It's been a while since I have seen a Mega Evolved pokemon"

Julian said, even though Mega Evolution was found some time ago not many people are using it right now as its quite unpredictable, pokemons can lose control and become very aggressive once mega evolved, that is why only trainers who can fully control their pokemons and are strong enough can try mega evolution.

Sycamore "Indeed, it's hard for trainers to control their Mega Evolved pokemon, there were so many cases of injuries when the concept was very new to people, nowadays people are very careful"

Sycamore answered.

Julian "It's for the better I guess"

Sycamore "Luckily the research into Mega Evolutions has progressed a lot, this has helped the general public in understanding Mega Evolutions a lot better, now more trainers have access to the information"

Julian "It's thanks to you, you have dedicated a lot of time to Mega Evolutions"

Julian said while looking at Sycamore.

Sycamore "I can't take all the credit, you were one of the very first people to have a Mega Evolved pokemon fully under control, it was your data that helped us understand it much better"

Sycamore said and laughed.

As Julian and Sycamore were having their conversation, Ash rushed towards Julian.

Ash "Julian, thank you for saving us!"

He shouted which caught the attention of everyone around them, Julian was caught off-guard, he looked around and noticed that a lot of people are staring at him, they even started to take out their phones and take pictures of him.

Julian "Professor Sycamore, Ash, I will be heading back to the lab, I will meet you there"

Julian made an escape before he gets surrounded by every person around Prism Tower.

Julian arrived back at the lab, from the outside it looked like a mess because of all the destruction Garchomp has caused, as he walked through the gate he saw a beautiful woman with blue hair wearing a white lab coat cleaning the pathway as it was filled with rubbles.

He had seen this person before, she is none other than Professor Sycamore's assistant, the assistant noticed a person in red coming towards her, she put the broom to the side and looked at the guest, she had seen this man before, she remembered seeing him saving the little girl but she still doesn't know his real identity.

"Hello, my name is Sophie, I am Professor Sycamore's assistant, how can I be of any help to you?"

She asked and bowed at Julian.

Julian "Nice to meet you, I will wait for Professor Sycamore to come back from the Prism tower"

He answered.

Sophie "Oh! Did the situation calm down?"

She asked.

Julian "Yes, you don't have to worry about it, the others are on their way"

She nodded and watched the man in the red jacket make his way into the lab, she didn't know who this was but she was grateful.
