Chapter 978: Porygon's Pokeball

Julian looked at the weird Pokeball in front of him and asked Sycamore if this thing is any different from a normal Pokeball.

Sycamore "This Pokeball is indeed different, this Pokeball can connect to your computer from which he can monitor Porygon's status, this Pokeball can also help Porygon enter the internet and live inside the cyberspace if you command it to"

Sycamore explained.

Julian realized that this Pokeball was similar to a data cable which can be used to connect Porygon to his computer, since this Pokemon is a collection of data this can be very useful.

Julian took the Pokeball and kept it with him.

Julian "I have one more question?"

Julian asked.

Sycamore "What is it?"

He was ready to answer any questions that Julian had.

Julian "Can Porygon evolve?"

Sycamore "Indeed, we actually have upgrade files that can be sent to Porygon which can trigger an evolution but everyone decided not to evolve the Porygons as the risk of losing control over it is very high and a pokemon like Porygon, which can alter data of the internet is very dangerous"

Julian "I see, can I get them?"

Sycamore "Hmm... I don't know, I think it is possible but I think its best if we recheck the code before we hand it over to you, till then you should learn more about Porygon through your own means"

Julian "I understand"

Julian said. He was done with his questions, once he was done Ash and his friends approached Julian as they wanted to see the Porygon as well, Ash was very excited seeing a pokemon like this, even though Porygon didn't respond no matter what Ash did, he didn't seem discouraged by it at all. (A/N - I decided to make Ash be introduced to Porygon as a completely new pokemon to him, even though there was an episode of Ash meeting Porygon in the anime, the episode was removed due to some problems, I didn't want to go back and search for that episode and see what happened, so I decided to make this a fresh start, Ash is meeting Porygon for the first time).

While Ash was excited about the Porygon, his new friend Clemont showed more interest in the artificial pokemon, Julian realized that this boy is very into tech and was an inventor at such a young age, so it was natural for him to get excited about a pokemon that is completely made of 0s and 1s.

It was about to get dark and Sycamore asked Julian, Ash, and his friends to stay behind and rest for the night, Julian refused and he had a place to stay, he bid farewell to Professor Sycamore, Ash, and his new friends and took Porygon with him.

This was going to be quite a task for Julian but he had some ideas about how to tackle this situation, this Porygon is not the real Porygon, this one is just the prototype, it is actually Porygon Zero.

From the looks of it, this Porygon has been programmed to have basic functions, though it is made of 0s and 1s, it can still use pokemon moves of different typing, Julian wondered how this was really possible, he wondered how smart the creator of this pokemon really was? Dr. Akihabara, the people in the scientific community called him an eccentric and a mad man.

Julian 'Well I guess only a mad man can create something like this.'

Julian thought while looking at the Pokeball in his hand, he got out of the pokemon lab and headed back to the apartment where his fiancées are staying, when he entered their room, he was greeted by a fragrant smell of delicious food.

Daisy came upfront and greeted him, she was wearing a beautiful dress and on top of that a white apron, he could see some food stains on the apron, he realized that Daisy was cooking.

Julian "Where is Chloe?"

He asked.

Daisy "She is in the kitchen, helping me, you just sit and relax, today you are going to be our scapegoat and taste our cooking"

She said and giggled before heading back to the kitchen, Julian smiled and entered the room, he looked at the kitchen and saw both Chloe and Daisy cooking with a smile on their faces, Julian felt great seeing this.

He wondered once they all settle down, this will be a regular view and he didn't hate the idea at all but it was too early for either of them to settle down.

He washed up and sat in front of the tv and watched the current affairs that is happening in Kalos, he learned many things about Kalos as he watched the TV, he also learned that Mega Evolutions are back in action.

Even though people had stopped Mega Evolving their pokemon because they were uncontrollable before, now things seem to have changed as the information about how to take care of your pokemon properly and when will it be able to perfectly Mega Evolve was all over the internet.

People to read and follow the instruction but the process was not easy either, it could only be achieved by hard work, dedication, and a lot of time, for a perfect Mega Evolutions, the pokemon has to be an advanced level pokemon, the bond between the trainer and the pokemon needs to be very strong so that the Pokemon doesn't get overwhelmed by the power entering their body.

This made Julian a little happy because Mega Evolutions could raise up the stakes in the league and he could feel that the Kalos league will be as big as Unova or maybe even bigger.
