Chapter 1093: Negotiation

Julian spent more time with both his fiancées before they leave today afternoon, he dropped them off at the airport, even though they were not willing to leave him but they had to go as their work is waiting for them.

Once they left, Julian decided to continue with the task he has in hand, he needs to take care of the admin that he has taken hostage, he also wants to talk with Valerie about the clothing business but before doing that he called Jimi to discuss it.

When Jimi heard about Julian's plans to expand into the fashion industry he was excited, he never thought of entering this market but he knows it is big, he agreed with Julian and decided to look further into it.

Julian also told him to offer Valerie an exclusive contract that she cannot refuse, Jimi decided to do that and quite got to work, first, he will have to look into the market, learn how things work, build a team and research the market even more before entering, it will take some time but Jimi is confident in entering the market with Julian's help and if Julian can convince Valerie to be their exclusive designer things might become even better.

After his call with Jimi Julian directly headed towards the Laverre city gym, when he got there he was greeted just like before, the beautiful woman in a beautiful dress welcomed him and asked him if he is here to challenge the gym leader or for business.

When they heard that Julian is here for business, they guided him towards Valerie's office, Julian looked around her office and noticed that it was filled with art pieces just like when he visited her dressing room at the fashion event.

He continued to look around and waited for Valerie to come, he waited for a few minutes and Valerie entered the room with a smile on her face, when she saw that it was Julian her smile grew wider.

Valerie "Oh, Mr. Julian, I didn't expect a visit from you, did you fall in love with me to come to meet me in person"

She said with a smile on her face.

Julian "Haha, you wish, too bad I only love my fiancées, I am actually here to talk business"

Valerie "Oh, I didn't expect this either, please take a seat"

She said and pointed at the chair, Julian nodded and took his seat, he made himself comfortable and leaned back while looking Valerie right into her eyes.

Valerie took her seat and looked at Julian as well, as their eyes met she felt pressured.

Valerie "So what is this business you want to talk about?"

She asked.

Julian "Well, as I watched the event yesterday I realized that the fashion market is massive"

Valerie "Indeed it is, the fashion market is one of the biggest markets, it is not only people but pokemon fashion is also growing in size"

She said.

Julian "Indeed and that is why I am here, as I saw the potential, I want to start my own fashion brand"

Valerie "Oh, that's quite ambitious, do you think you can succeed?"

She asked.

Julian "I know I can, I have the best people working for me, these people are the same ones who helped me build my empire and now I want to add one more person in my empire"

Julian said.

Valerie "So you are saying..."

Julian "Yes, I want you to work for my company exclusively"

Valerie "Oh, that a pretty big thing to ask for, I already have a successful business, why should I become exclusive to your company?"

Julian "Well, you will get more money, you will get a percentage for all your designs, the money you will be getting will be much more than you are making now or ever going to make. You will have your creative freedom as well"

Julian said.

Valerie "Many brands came and asked me to be their exclusive designer, they also offered me similar offers but I denied them, why should I take on your offer"

Julian "How influential are their brands anyway, they might be big but they are nothing compared to the size of my empire, the amount of money that I can invest in you and your work is more than they are willing to pay, and being associated with me will boost your career even further, and it will not be just me either, I can ask my fiancées to wear your designs which will boost your designs even further.

And it will not just be Chloe, even Cynthia can do it and you know how famous she is as well, many women even try to replicate her style.

Them representing your name will boost it even further, you only have a win-win situation, why would you even reject this offer?"

Julian said. Listening to him Valerie started to think about it, while she avoided becoming exclusive to a certain brand because she wanted to be an independent designer but that will not further her career to the absolute top, even though she is big she is not the biggest one out there.

Even though her designs are one of the best, they don't get much attention because they are not advertised as much as designs belonging to exclusively signed designers.

Now that she has an option to enter a massive ocean she is thinking about it, she has and is a big fish in the lake for quite a while, and now she has the chance to enter the ocean and grow bigger.

Valerie "Give me time to think about it"

She said.

Julian "Sure, someone from my company will call you in a few days to discuss more the contract"

Julian said and got up from the chair and left after saying goodbye, he already knew that she will sign the contract, he knows that he had convinced her and now it is all up to Jimi to finish the negotiation.

Now that he has handled this situation, the only one left is the Team Flare admin that he has captured.
