105 The Grand Elder Of The Blue Distric

THE BLUE DISTRICT

THE COMMUNITYCIRCLE

UZOMA BALLID V'TRIWU; THE GRAND ELDER

Power was a nice thing to have, and even more so when it was gained solely by your own efforts alone, of course in a place like the pit you have to climb a mountain of bodies and cross an ocean of blood to get it. But when you do, it's satisfying, like the blood of a virgin coursing down your throat in soft rivulets and slow methodical flows that left you aching and gasping in pleasure.

Uzoma had gone through a lot in his six thousand years of life, of course compared to other elders he was quite young, so being a six thousand year old vampire meant nothing.

Before the vampire race lost everything, reaching the rank of elder quite rare. During those times, the competition was fierce, and resources were quite finite, so there were wars between elders that saw them dying, thereby managing and keeping the numbers regulated to those special few that were strong enough to keep a hold on their power.

But now, after more than three dozen millenniums of being prisoners, the elder population was at an all time high, there were more elders alive now than they ever was in history.

And even though they were all sealed, and subjected to the control and whims of the warden and his dogs, the elders still fought for power amongst themselves. Which was why there were so many covens in existence, and each of those covens has an elder or two controlling it.

Uzoma was happy right where he was, he was comfortable being the number one gang lord, and coven leader in the blue district. And because of that he was able to acquire the title of grand elder, meaning he was the leader of all of the blue district. Of course he has guarded his position jealousy ever since he had obtained it.

Which was why he made sure to take care of any rival within his territory, permanently.

But now things were getting out of hand there's been severe unrest among the vampires who followed Uzoma, there was an air of rebellion afoot, and the cause of that was someone who he never expected. In fact it couldn't be said that it was just the fault of the individual alone, but rather what he stood for, and the idea of what he could become. Not to mention there was a rumor of him having a weaver by his side.

Kael Cor, even though he's allegedly still in coma, seems to have a lot going on around him as of recent, of course everything so far has just been rumors and a lot of speculation, but it didn't change the fact that there was a threat to his rule and sovereignty in his district, and if he couldn't get him to pledge allegiance, Uzoma had to get rid of him. Besides not every vampire in the pit worshiped the ground he walked on, his actions as a human had ultimately caused more harm than good for a lot of vampires in the pit.

Outside of this prison, he was a powerful heir to multiplanetary business empire, his actions would have little consequences on him as long as he was careful enough to not be caught in he act.

But even then everyone knew he ran the most notorious smuggling ring in recent memory, and that was all due to the fact that he sprung vampires free from their cages and other for of captivity. But in the end, the amount of vampires in the put who had to pay because someone believed they deserve freedom could not be counted.

Even Uzoma himself had not been spared the hand of retribution that Adein rained on them all. He too among many others had suffered because some kid wanted to play deliverer. He toyed with their lives, and now Uzoma had a good enough reason to get rid of him.

After all his was the pit, no one was going to give him grief for getting rid of a troublesome revenant,it even that elder of a wife of his. If she wanted revenge he welcomed it with pleasure, it was only smart to get rid of every loose ends in his attempt to correct what he believes to be a massive wrong.Besides it's said that Kael Cor was still in a coma, if he dies in it, then there shouldn't really be that much of a problem.

"My Lord! My Lord! I have News, Important News!" someone shouted as he came running into Uzoma's roughly hewn tower cave.

"Enough! With the screaming Fillip, what's wrong?" Uzoma asked with a sneer on his face.

Fillip was a frail little thing, green skinned, crooked teeth and a foul odor that left the stomach of whomever stood too long beside him In disarray.

But that was to be expected, after all Fillip was a goblin.though he was one of he smarter ones, it still did not get rid of the aesthetic irritability that's synonymous with goblin kind. And there were absolutely no redeeming qualities about that race, they could be described as semi sentient, but in the end it was hard to differentiate them from common animals.

So why would Uzoma be keeping this slimy green bundle or rotting teeth and dry skinned piece of crap around. Well that was simple, Fillip was the most if not the only resourceful goblin in all of existence. He was conniving, secretive, manipulative and above all, there was nothing that happened within the blue and green district that he had not caught wind of and knew about down to the tiniest detail.

"Kael Cor has been spotted, and not just that he and a couple of other vampire's were coming from the district boundary."

"Seriously is that it? I suspected that he was already awake, but what's so special about him coming from he district boundary? He might just be coming back from the green district."

"No My lord, he was coming from the boundary into the forbidden district. And they had the corpse of a dungeon boss monster with them. Along with a few elite monster corpses."

Uzoma went quite for a while as he tried to digest what he just heard. The forbidden district was not a place anyone could just go, they needed to have sufficient power and strength to survive that place.

But of course he was sure the power they used to survive that district did not come from them, the vampires were sealed, which meant he was probably helped by that human servant of his. The rumors about him having a weaver by his side was stupid, it's the most impossible scenario that could have possible happened.

But this was an opportunity, and very perfect opportunity. He was looking for a reason to go after Kael Cor and his rabble of outcasts, and now he finally had one. That place was not called the forbidden district for nothing, and the fact that the fool had swaggered in and out of it, shows that he has a complete disregard for the unspoken rule of the pit.

But this was an opportunity to stir things up a little, and not just to make trouble for that filthy impure, but also to find out what secrets are hidden within that tower of his, and increase his strength and control of he blue district in the process.

Uzoma turned his gaze towards a partitioned part of his cave and called out.

"Kuyait! Come over I have a job for you."

From behind a ragged curtain, a young woman walked out, she looked anywhere from seventeen to twenty two, and had a petite figure.

She was as mist would say, well endowed, and her a silky long white hair that stretched all the way to her ankles. She was a beauty, so much so that the criss cross of scars on her beautiful face did nothing to ruin her beauty. Instead it gave her a fearsome aura that coupled with her beauty would leave any man gasping for breath in both fear and lust.

Her dark eyes seemed lifeless, like there was no light or a sense of purpose within. She looked like someone who had he weight of the world on her shoulders, and was about to succumb to an all encompassing pressure. But if Kael was here, he would have seen a very different thing, he would have recognized a very different face.

"Kuyait I want you to take a trip to the guard tower and report to the warden that the prestigious Lord Kael is awake, and that he has been seen gallivanting around the forbidden district, and hunting the monsters there for their blood. I'm sure he would appreciate you delivering this message, after all you and a few or your very dead friends thought it was a good idea to paint on the wall of his guard tower.

Tell him that I'm now leading my forces to apprehended the criminal, it's really ironic though. It was you who went and wrote long live Kael Cor on the wall of the guard tower, with your own blood too. But now your own two feet would take you to that tower, where with your own mouth, you would condemn that animal to a surefire and pain filled end. Well carry on."

The woman called Kuyait bowed her head, looking as emotionless as she was moments ago, showing no reaction to anything said about Kael or the guard tower. She turned and moved out of the tower, moving to complete her given task. But if Kael had been here, he would have known without a doubt, that the woman with scars on her face, was a spitting image of the thorn in his side Teluna. Without a doubt, This was Teluna's mother.
